** REMODELED Sept-Oct 2018**. Unit #759 - Tower 2. We have completely replaced our Kitchen by removing the wall to open it, all new custom cabinets, quartz countertops, new appliances and flooring. In the bath area, new vanity cabinet, quartz countertop and removed the tub to install a beautiful new walk-in shower with sliding glass doors, new flooring and carpet throughout the unit. We still have our signature Sleep Number bed, large L-Shaped sofa/queen sleeper, and entertainment system with Bluetooth, DVR & Xbox One (along with controllers and a couple games) in both the living room and bedroom. Our side of the tower is the south side/sunny side. This provides us with lots of beautiful natural sunlight throughout the day, plenty of space between our tower and the Westin hotel for privacy so you can keep the new drapes and blackout curtains wide open day or night. All our new kitchen lighting provides flexibility to light the kitchen as much or little as you need. The new floating ceiling light system is completely dimmable as well as the bar lighting. We also have under-cabinet lights. USB outlets in the kitchen and vanity along with two charging stations on desk and bedroom dresser for your electronics. Our new walk-in shower has a higher shower head with an additional magnetic handheld massager. There is an automatic moisture sensor for the fan that detects when to pull out the extra moisture during showers to help keep towels dry and easier to towel off. We installed an automatic nightlight in the bathroom so you don't need to turn lights on in the middle of the night. Enjoy soft Hawaiian music at sunset while you relax on our lanai with our two binoculars. Come experience our new and improved #759!

This fee covers parking, Wifi, beach towels, beach chairs, gym, tennis courts, use of laundry machines on each floor and various other amenities. This rate can be changed without notice by the Board of Directors at the Whaler. The owner does not control this fee.

CLEANING FEES:

This property was in a great location for our Kaanapali adventures. It was clean, had a great view, and had all the amenities we needed. The Sleep Number bed was a great perk. We love that we could walk next-door to Whalers Village where there are great restaurants, plenty of shopping, and it’s also where our snorkel tour left from. We would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful gem of a home! The view was stunning from every room and it was so clean and well taken care of! The bed was very comfortable! The WiFi was fast! We LOVED it! And we are so grateful to Julie for her flexibility when our flight was delayed. She was truly a lifesaver!

This place was fabulous! It had every amenity possible. I would highly recommend this place. It was right next to several walkable restaurants and shops in Whalers Village. The beach was great with fun snorkeling spot near the rocks just a few minutes walk down the beach. I will stay here again next time we come back. A++++

We had a family of 4, including 2 teenage sons. Julie’s place was just perfect for our needs. She thought of everything! The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of pillows and blankets. There’s an ice machine in the freezer…..no constant filling of ice cube trays! There is shampoo, conditioner, laundry soap……you name it, she had it for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay for our first time in Maui.

We have stayed at The Whaler quite a few times but this is the first time we’ve stayed in this unit. We wanted to upgrade from a Studio to a One Bedroom and this unit did not disappoint! Between the sleep number bed and the huge flat screen TV w/ Roku, the amenities were never ending! We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen (including every big/small appliance you might need, salt/ pepper, soy sauce, etc), the Tommy Bahama umbrellas and beach chairs, the coolers, the sunscreen (we left some behind too), the lanai, the ceiling fans, the huge sleeper sectional, and of course, this place is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Steps from all my favorite places including Black Rock, Island Coffee and Maui Brewing Company!
We only had one issue with the beach umbrellas — they were both broken — and the unit management was super responsive via text and replaced them very quickly for us!
I will definitely stay here again every time I visit Maui!!

My husband enjoyed a magical 4 nights in Julie's condo for his 40th birthday. Upon arrival, the condo was cleaned immaculately and had everything we needed throughout our stay (cooler, chairs, games, etc). The view is beautiful from the patio and the location is a two-minute walk to Whaler's Village. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Before and after our stay Julie was very friendly and communicative which made our trip more enjoyable. We will be back again, soon!

Everything you will need and more! Great spot for viewing whales from the spacious balcony. Kitchen is well equipped from wine glasses to cooking pots and utensils. The bed was super comfortable. There were all the beach toys you could ask for and lots of games and books to choose from. Last but not least…. Very clean!

This is a great condo with everything you need to have a relaxing and fun time in West Maui. There are many extras provided in this unit for beach time, grilling, cooking and relaxing. The view is awesome throughout the day but the sunsets are the best. We also enjoyed being able to look over to Whaler's Village and watch and hear different performers on the beach and at the nearby restaurant. We were also able to see whales from the lanai. Julie provides a lot of helpful information about the area and is easy to get a hold if you have questions. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Having stayed in 9 different units at The Whaler over the past 6 years, I can safely recommend this unit as one of the most thoughtfully furnished units in all of The Whaler. Abundant beach gear, every video and audio component a visitor could want, spectacular views and a very comfy bed! Julie was also able to get us prioritized for (3 hours) early access to accommodate our schedule. Will definitely be returning to this unit at our most preferred complex in all of Hawaii.

Our family was so pleased with this property. It exceeded our expectations and was our favorite spot during our Hawaiian island tour. The unit is extremely clean and well appointed. Great location and great lanai/balcony to sit and take in the ocean. Perfect for relaxation with all the amenities you need. We will be back! Great communication by the owner! Our kids (12 and 16) enjoyed this more than the hotels we stayed.

It is a spectacular room in every way. Sleep number bed, full kitchen stocked with spices and many other things, fabulous decorating and furniture, mirrored wall that made it feel larger than its already substantial size, big lanai with bistro chairs to see over the railing, plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. The location is probably the best on Kaanapali’i beach.

The location of this condo is PERFECT. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. You can see the beautiful beach and the mountains from the balcony. Julie checks in with you during your stay and has stocked the condo with everything you could ever want. She provided beach chairs which were great. The condo lets you switch out beach towels so you always have clean towels. It's so nice to have direct access to the beach. Staff at the condo is very friendly. Both Julie and Karen were easy to communicate with. Condo was clean. We can't wait to return to Maui!

This is a beautifully updated unit with an amazing view off the lanai. The bed is very comfortable and we enjoyed that it was a Sleep Number mattress. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and I was able to prepare and serve 12 people dinners most nights. We had friends and family staying in various units at The Whaler and this unit was not only the central gathering spot, but also the envy of everyone else in different units. The Whaler is my absolute favorite with its low key, simple pleasures and this unit was fantastic.

Julie was an amazing host, but unfortunately we did not actually get to stay in this room. Two days before check-in, the unit above Julie’s left the bathtub on overnight flooding Julie’s unit. Julie rebooked us into another unit without us having to do anything. She also checked in on us throughout our stay and continued to give recommendations, answer questions, and went out of her way to organize snorkel gear since her unit had it and our new unit did not. The Whaler property was wonderful and we hope to come back and stay in Julie’s unit next time.
