Such a lovely home in a beautiful location. We had a great family vacation. The accommodations were perfect and we look forward to a return visit!

Had a wonderful time with our family. Deep gratitude for time in this relaxing place.

House was great. The lake was fantastic! Everyone enjoyed having all the extras provided by the homeowner; paddle boards, boat, etc…Community was nice. Kids went to arts and crafts and played (won) bingo. We would definitely stay here again. VRBO fees are too high, not the fault of the homeowners. Only suggestion, trim back branches to have a better view of the lake.

We’ll equipped and decorated! Would stay again but The Vrbo fees have gotten too high!

Beautiful property that’s close enough to walk to the beach. Nice game room for the kids to enjoy, great dock with paddle boards, fishing boat & canoe. Well stocked kitchen, nicely decorated rooms & overall just a very nice house…would definitely rent again. Also great communication with owner when there was a problem with a fire alarm.

We had an amazing time at Lauren's home!!
This was the perfect getaway trip. We sat for hours by the lake and around the campfire, and couldn't have asked for a better host. Lauren was quick to respond to all of my questions, and the check-in/check-out process was seamless. Thank you Lauren for letting us stay at your home. Hope to visit again soon :)

Great water getaway
My family had a great time! We were on the water everyday, most of the day. Only rain stopped us and then we played inside and enjoyed the house!! Having the use of the paddleboards was the best!! Highly recommend this place!

We so enjoyed our visit to Pine Lake! The house was perfect for our needs. The game room downstairs was a lifesaver for the 14 yr olds. Our hostess couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. May go again next year!

Lakefront Vacation Getaway
This is a beautiful and spacious home, sitting on a lakefront lot with an enchanting wooded path to a new dock. A full length deck with lounging area and tables to sit out and enjoy food cooked on the grill. We enjoyed the relaxing living room and the
lower level recreation room. Plenty of room indoors and out. We would definitely come back again.

Perfect Family Vacation
Our cruise got cancelled and Jersey Shore was too crowded. My wife, 3 daughters (ages 10-13) and I decided to try the Poconos for the first time. We absolutely lucked out renting from Lauren in Locust Lake Village. The house was perfect with great attention to detail.
The house is right on the lake! So peaceful. Coffee every morning on the deck that overlooked the lake- or on the private dock on the lake. Grilling every night (except for hotdog firepit night). Days were filled with fishing, boating, paddle boarding, swimming at the beach and activities thru out the community. The beach is a 1 minute walk OR we could paddle board/ boat from our dock to the beach and there is a boat "parking lot". Beach is perfect for kids. There are life guards and the water is clean and invigorating. No huge crowds and no big waves to worry about like at the ocean. Also- loved the outdoor shower at the house.
We can't wait to experience this house in different seasons. The trees are beautiful and i bet the fall is breathtaking. Thanks Lauren for opening up your home to us to experience this little slice of heaven....
Sincerely, The Lankin Family

Beautiful Spot on Pines Lake!!
The property is private and the area surrounding the dock is serene. We loved riding our family bike rides around the quiet neighborhood. Lauren has outfitted her home with all the comforts you'd want for an easy, stress-free and fun family vacation. We cannot wait to return to Pines Lake!

Perfect getaway
Perfect Poconos location for a relaxing and fun family vacation. The house is nestled in the woods, with the lake a 30 second walk down a well-lit path. The private lakefront area with new dock is perfect for fishing, watching the sunset and nightly fire. The owners provide so many extras that you don't need to leave the property. Paddle boards, rowboat, canoe, game room with air hockey and pool, many games, and several areas (front lawn, backyard and driveway area) for outdoor recreation. Even though you don't need to leave, the sand beach of Pine Lake is a quick walk down the street. The house itself is well-appointed with thoughtful touches throughout. Plenty of room for a family of 5 and 2 grandparents quaranteaming. The owner was super responsive to any questions or issues we had. Best VRBO we've rented.

A great stay!
First let me say that this is our 3rd Pocono rental and we have rented elsewhere before that, this was by far the cleanest rental we have ever been to. Even the deck was swept and not a cobweb to be found.
We loved the house, down to the decor. The kitchen would feel a little tight once we got dinner on the table for the kids but were still cooking for the adults. Not much cabinet space for our food but Lauren's baskets helped us stay organized and we had all we needed in terms of plates/utensils, etc.,as well as basic cooking supplies. The fridge was deep so no problems fitting all of our cold goods.
We made daily use of the paddle boards provided and also brought kayaks from home. Very easy entry off the dock. We enjoyed the sunset views from the middle of the lake every evening, though you would get the full view from the dock/back yard if you preferred. The kids liked to ride their bikes around or walk to the beach when they were not using water toys. We sat by the firepit each night and enjoyed the quiet.
On a rainy day we took a trip to Kalahari Water Park and also hiked one morning at Hickory Run State Park, both in close proximity. The guys golfed one day at Split Rock and loved it. If rain kept us from having a fire at night, we played games in the basement where there was an option for pool or air hockey. Again, I can't emphasize enough how clean this place was, even down there!
Lauren checked in shortly after our arrival to see if all was well and she was reachable via text if we needed her. Community check in was quick and easy and the staff was very friendly. Neighbors were very friendly.
We had a great vacation! Traveled with 4 adults, 4 children.

Beautiful
The house had everything we needed and more important for me it was clean and well kept and easy to maintain during the trip. The kids had their space downstairs. Most of the trips around the lake were on the paddle boards. It was so nice to have more than the one board we transport from home. The kids spent more hours than I can count on the lake's inflatable structure and we took advantage of some of the lake community activities like the morning kids crafts and the movie night. We were able to bike throughout the community pretty easily. I was looking forward to the outdoor shower and even though the walls were a bit low for taller folks I was able to hang a towel to get the privacy needed.
It was a good blend of activities and relaxing. The area of the Poconos was different than where we normally stay and we took advantage. Wawa was a 10 minute drive away for filling up and getting a quick breakfast to go especially convenient the day of check out. We spent a day at Camel Beach but went to Kalahari for our second mini golf excursion. Our first round of mini golf was less than a mile from the lake community. Our children want me to drive all the way back from home just to visit the Junction Ice Cream stand. Their selection of ice cream and ice cream treats is fantastic and they happily went out of their way to make sure my daughter with a peanut allergy could have a peanut free experience and have ice cream. We stopped there every chance we got. The same vendor had a selection of ice cream and treats at the sandy beach a couple doors away too. We would have done the cameback ropes and zip line or the kalahari ropes courses instead of the water park but our youngest wouldn't give it a try. On the only rainy thunderstorm filled day we drove to Stroudsburg for a traditional escape room. Not one or our better escape room experiences but still fun. We could have easily stayed in the house there was plenty of space and the kids were happy with all the games in the basement but we love escape rooms so since we were close and had time we went.

Perfect Pocono family vacation site
There was nothing about this experience that didn't exceed our expectations! We are a family group ranging in age from 10 to 74 and each of us were very comfortably accommodated in the house. The house is quite spacious so that we never felt in each other's way
regardless of where we were in the house. ( Also well air conditioned when needed, so physically comfortable). Two tv's and games galore (including air hockey!) provided plenty of entertainment for the little time we actually spent inside the house. The adults loved the huge deck in the back of the house that overlooked the dock and lake and we spent countless hours 'hanging out' there. A few quick steps brought us to the dock and beautiful serene lake where we swam, fished and used paddle boards - All without having to leave the property for equipment since our hostess provided all the necessities to do this! Our 10 year old especially loved the beach, which is in walking distance of the house, where there is a water slide, raft, etc..There are also planned activities in the community for all ages, so never a lack of things to do here.
I must say our hostess thought of everything in preparation for having 'guests'. We arrived to a lovely 'Welcome basket" and a home that was super clean, always a concern of mine when renting .. I didn't have to break out any of the cleaning supplies I was prepared with!..the 'frig was stocked with things like mayo and ketchup, there were plenty of starter spices , paper towels, bathroom tissues, soaps and shampoos etc., so very few trips to convenience stores for anything.
This is the first time we have been to the Poconos as we usually spend our summer vacation in RI . Having been accustomed to ocean breezes, we were concerned it might not be as comfortable on a lake in the middle of the summer. What a pleasant surprise to find out the mountains and lake actually provided days and nights that were cooler and less humid than in RI on the water, or at home this time of year.
I would unequivocally recommend this property to anyone looking to spend time in the Poconos with a large group. Can't imagine how you couldn't have a good time there!

Wonderful lakeside rental
This is a great rental for summer beach fun with kids! The rental is 6 houses down from a community beach perfect for kids young and old. We had great fun using the canoe, jumping off the AquaGlide and building castles. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the owner was kind to provide us with a list of activities going on during the July 4th week. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Lakefront and Lovely Home!
We had a fabulous weekend in this home. The outdoor deck was awesome and had a beautiful view of the lake. We used the firepit a couple times, used their boat and canoe to take a quick trip around the serene lake and even caught some fish right off the bank! Unluckily for us, we chose a very rainy weekend, but thankfully the house was so beautiful! Even just relaxing in the living room, with the two glass doors we could still enjoy the outdoors while staying dry.
We ended up going to Jim Thorpe for the train ride which our toddlers LOVED. There was a fall festival going on at the time, which also made it special. During one of the rainy evenings, we found an indoor glow-in-the-dark mini-golf which turned out great.
We came with a second family who stayed upstairs in the loft area. They were very comfortable upstairs especially with having their own bathroom. My husband, daughter, and I stayed on the first floor. My 3-year old LOVED the kid's room with the bunk beds. She was thrilled with the decor and just loved it. They even had some children's books in there, and my daughter demanded that we read their "Frozen" books every night. She was very upset to know we couldn't take them home!
Throughout the house, you could tell that they really care about their home. Little touches here and there with the way they decorated. It was a perfect combination of comfort and style.
The owner was gracious and friendly throughout our entire experience. From beginning to end she was communicative, easy, and VERY helpful with offering multiple things to do with our two families of young kids.
We would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend it!

Excellent stay; just what I hoped for
This property was as described, but more...it exceeded our expectations. At every turn, I realized that Lauren had thought of every possible comfort need from the overall superb cleanliness, to great mattresses and living space, to new outdoor shower that outdoes any I have seen. She provided a starter supply of every possible need which is so comforting. Our extended family of 5 adults and two toddlers had a most enjoyable time walking to the wide sandy beach and playground and boat launches. we had s'mores at the property's private fire pit by the lake and watched the reflected sun set just like this photo. Lauren shares her newly remodeled mountain home with grace and generosity.. We will most definitely return...and the sleeping will accommodate even more family. Sometimes rentals are a leap of faith, and this one is a winner. Judy of Lehigh Valley

The perfect vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay here! 7 of us stayed here, and there was plenty of the room. The house was incredibly clean, and it is obvious the owners take great care of their home. They had all the cooking utensils and basics we needed, and the grocery store is not far from the house.
Down by the lake, they had a great firepit, which we used several times, and they provided a canoe, 2 paddle boards, a fishing boat, and all the life vests we would need. They provided fishing tackle as well, though we brought our own. We caught 4 huge bass one evening using the fishing boat. They were huge!
The local beach, which is a very short walk down the street, provided all sorts of fun. They have an inflatable structure the kids swam to and spent hours on. The lifeguards were all extremely friendly. Ice cream night there was also a big hit. We were able to rent a kayak from the beach as well.
The house was quite comfortable, and everything was convenient. The air conditioning worked great. The game room was fun. The gas grill was conveniently located on the deck. The owner is incredibly thoughtful. She communicated everything clearly, and she even left us a welcome gift.
Nearby, we enjoyed miniature golf, and we went to Camel Beach for a day of water rides. The Pocono Boat House was right nearby, and we were able to buy our bait there.
Having the house right on the lake was the real benefit. The kids swam, we fished, and we enjoyed all the sunsets.
It was the perfect getaway!

Perfect Lakefront Vacation Home
We just returned from our first stay at Lauren’s beautiful lakefront home and it will not be our last. My husband and I invited our daughters, son-in-laws and three grandchildren ages 3, 1 and 7 months to join us for a week in the Poconos. It was a first time for all of us. I spent a lot of time searching for just the right place – we wanted to be centrally located for the things we wanted to do (see recommendations below), lakefront for fishing/sunsets/campfires/hanging out, 4 bedrooms and 2 baths (this home also has a super comfortable sleep sofas in both the loft and game room if you need more beds), clean (A+), and a beach available for swimming (which is just a short walk!). We got it ALL and more… IT WAS PERFECT... the little kids (and us big kids) had so much fun! Lauren was so helpful with all my questions before hand. She even checked in with us when we arrived and answered questions we had while there. Lauren, we loved your welcome gift!
The house itself is beautiful and has everything we could need. We used the linen service which was very affordable. The sheets weren’t as soft as ones from home but everyone agreed if was a treat not to have to pack them. Lauren provides plenty of bath towels. We ate most meals on the large deck. We caught lots of bluegill and perch right from shore. A local fisherman said that the area just to the left of the property is a hot spot - we watched his son reel in a 3.7 lb. large mouth bass there. We loved having use of paddle boards. The beach was very close and Lauren provides guests passes for everyone. It was quiet and peaceful both day and night. We recommend: Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe, the Arcade (including black light mini golf) at Kalahari, Dominic Pizza, Snake and Animal Farm (small but fun), Family Steak Night at Barley Creek Brewery (where we played Pickle Ball, Corn Hole and Softball after dinner), and both Jack Frost and Split Rock Golf courses. Locust Lake Village offers many fun, family events through the week.
We absolutely loved our stay at "Lakefront Paradise!" Thanks, Lauren, for sharing your home with us. Great memories for all!

Cherished memories at this lakefront paradise.
Our 3 generation family of 11 could not have asked for a better place to stay and unwind on vacation. The house was perfect and well appointed with all the amenities necessary to accommodate our needs. We loved spending time down at the lake in front of the house fishing, boating, floating in the water, and having smores around the firepit. The little ones also loved the sandy beach 5 doors from the house. We took walks and biked around the lake and it was so peaceful and quiet. Lauren was wonderful to work with answering any questions we had. We will cherish the memories and hope to return again. The Bitzers, Exton Pa.

Peaceful family getaway to the Lake
We really enjoyed this lakehouse. It was perfect for our family of 4. The view of the lake and beautiful little pathway along the property to the lakefront were exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, well maintained and charming. It was also well stocked with home necessities but several extras: paddle boards, a canoe and a row boat that our family really enjoyed. The community offers quite a bit with three lakes. The largest lake is just a short walk (less than .25 miles) away that had a dock to jump from as well as an exciting climbing structure. Kids are required to wear life jackets and my 6 year olds had no problem getting out there, so it's not too far out. There are also a couple of playgrounds, a snack bar and tennis courts. The community also offers ice cream nights, yoga and fitness classes, among other things for a small additional fee. The area is also packed with outdoor activities. We enjoyed fishing, archery, ropes courses, hikes, outdoor adventure parks and water parks all within 30 miles or less of the property. Our family all stayed on the main level of the house which worked for us as we have young children. The ground level had a fun game room with an air hockey/pool table, numerous board games and video games. There was room on the upper level could have accommodated more if we had parents with us or maybe older kids. The owner checked in on us to ensure our happiness and was very thoughtful. We would recommend this house to a family looking for a peaceful outdoor focused vacation.

Great house on a beautiful lake. Stunning views and all the amenities.
Let me start by saying that I don't usually write reviews, but with this house I felt I needed to write one. No worries is what we found at this home. We were pleasantly surprised as soon as we opened the front door. Besides a thoughtful Welcome note and a gift, the home was clean, spacious, and warm. The house was just as described in the listing but pictures online do not do it justice. The house had everything that we needed and was beautifully decorated, it made us feel right at home. We had a family of 9, we had plenty of beds and rooms. We enjoyed paddle boarding on the beautiful lake which was small but just right for the kids to enjoy. We also went to the nice sandy beach few houses down. The view was breathtaking, we were close to everything we choose to do but we ended up staying in the house for most of our one week stay anyway. There was plenty to do in the house and in the community where the house is located. We enjoyed the fire pit at nights and even the wood was provided! We would definitely consider coming back and I would recommend this place to others.

A week of bonding with the children and grandchildren - PRICELESS !!
Everything was great !! The house was beautiful with plenty of room for the 10 of us - a fun place for our family to get together. A nice big deck - fully stocked kitchen - plenty of sleeping room and the best was the pool/ping pong/ air hockey table downstairs that brought out the competitive spirit in all of us. Lots of fun nights.
Our 10 year old grandson caught 3 large bass right behind the house. The 2 little girls had a good time catching sunny's - everyone enjoyed getting out on the lake in the row boat - canoe and paddle boards.
We took a ton of videos down at the beach of the kids trying to conquer the water slide/obstacle course. The little ones enjoyed the playground and the sandy beach. A fun week was had by all !! Many thanks to Lauren and her family for the use of their home.

Lovely lakefront house! Perfect getaway!
We had an amazing week up in the Poconos. It is obvious that the homeowners really love their property - it is so tastefully decorated and stocked with everything we could need. The kids (2 & 4 yo) enjoyed the fun wilderness themed bedroom. We took full advantage of the canoe and paddle boats. Having direct access to the lake was awesome and the sandy bottomed area near the shore was perfect for our 2 year old to collect "treasures" safely without us having to worry about him slipping on the rocks. Lauren was wonderful about communicating with us and helping us with recommendations on nearby family-friendly attractions and restaurants. The community beach and playground were also so much fun! Overall we had a wonderful vacation and would definitely return to this property!
