Location is the best thing about this property.
We enjoyed our stay at this Hollywood location. Great access to the 101 to get around. Best to park on the street, even with a smaller car, the garage is shared and getting out of the car when the neighbour is parked there too, is cumbersome, at the least. The house is semi-detached, so you share a wall with the neighbour opposite. We could only vaguely hear them in the ensuite bathroom once in a while, so it does not take away from the charm of the house. The house met our expectations with generous bedrooms and kitchen area. The biggest issue we had was a loss of heating during our stay, which Alicia did her best to accommodate, but we went without heat for a few days. Not typically a problem in LA, but the week we stayed the house temperature was 58 F/14 C degrees inside, so we snuggled in bed when we were inside, and we tried not to be inside much during our time there. Thankfully, there is plenty to do and the location makes it easy to do it all with relative ease. Griffith Park Observatory, The Ghetty Centre, Santa Monica, Universal Studios, Runyon Canyon, Hollywood/Highland, and even The Grove are all places where you can enjoy the sunshine and WALK.

Perfect little house great location
Stayed here for a mini vacation in Hollywood and to attend a show at the Hollywood Bowl. House is clean and well stocked. It is close to the Bowl and the walk of fame. We could walk to see it all. Host was very attentive and very helpful.

My husband and I along with another couple stayed over the long Presidents Day weekend for a quick getaway. The house was very comfortable and perfect for 2 couples. The location was walking distance to Hollywood boulevard and many restaurants. We also explored the immediate neighborhood which had a very cool historic elevator called High Tower. We thought the house was very quiet but could see how ithe area could get very busy during Hollywood bowl events. There is parking for one vehicle in the garage, but a large SUV may be difficult to fit, however there is one parking permit available for street parking. We had an Acura sedan and it fit fine in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked. We liked how the kitchen, dining, and living room were all one big room so when cooking you could still easily visit with guests in the Livingroom. The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were a good size and even had some shampoo, soaps, and lotion stocked in them. The owner made it very easy to check in with easy instructions for access. She was also very responsive and communicated well with us. It was never a problem trying to contact her. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this home to others.

Would stay again
Wonderful home, nicely decorated, spacious and very clean and comfortable. Good location too. Suggest you have a small car if you want to park in the garage. Was rather warm when we were there and took us until the second day to figure out there was air conditioning and how to turn it on. Highly recommend this home.

Lovely home in a perfect location
My husband and I, with our two children just returned from a week long stay at Alicia's house. The place was beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. The two bathrooms were a plus.. one with a shower and the master with a tub that the kids enjoyed. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make meals... and we cooked many! We were able to find many other amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers, plenty of towels, laundry soap, etc...
As for the location, it was ideal for us... within walking distance to Hollywood walk of fame and Chinese theater, short driving distance to the Hollywood sign and Runyon Canyon and many restaurants and grocery stores.
Overall, our stay was fantastic and we would certainly return. Alicia was very attentive and a wonderful host.

Delightful!
The house is beautifully appointed, well-situated, and comfortable. The furnishings are upscale and we enjoyed the small outdoor patio in the evenings. The only downside to this property is that traffic can be pretty bad when there are concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, which is right down the street. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Comfortable, Clean, & Updated Home
We had 4 adults stay in this lovely Hollywood Hills home. It was a very short distance to the Hollywood Bowl where we walked and enjoyed the music for 2 days. Perfect ! On the day we arrived we were tired so we enjoyed a "Trader Joe" dinner in the well appointed kitchen. Alicia was gracious and responsive. She has beautiful tastes in the "Good Home" decor. As we are not young, We appreciated the minimal stairs as compared to other homes in the neighborhood. Great rental!

Beautiful!
Pictures do not do this place justice. It's amazing! Alicia has done a fantastic job with renovations and decorating. The house has a very luxurious feel to it which made it difficult to leave for sightseeing. It had everything needed for us to feel at home. The roof top sitting area is a nice place to enjoy a glass of wine.
The location is fantastic if you are looking to be in the heart of LA. It is close to many tourists destinations and a short walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and more.
Alicia was great to work with. She was very attentive and took her time to talk about what to do in the area. She checked in with us a couple of times to make sure everything was going well.
Overall our stay was perfection.
Thank you Alicia!

Perfect location. Very comfortable. Safe and beautiful neighborhood
Beautifully decorated inside and out. Very safe, quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The house was very modern and comfortable. It was everything we were looking for. Hollywood and Sunset boulevard are walking distance. The location really couldn't have been better. Very centrally located. We loved it. We only regret that we couldn't have stayed longer!

Superior Location and Beautiful Property
This property was perfect for a week's visit to Hollywood/LA over spring break with my husband and 18 year-old son. Two bedrooms and baths gave us all privacy when we wanted it, but we also enjoyed the living room and the deck as gathering spots to unwind together. The house is well appointed and we loved the "Hollywood Glamour" decor and comfy beds, an endless supply of white, fluffy towels and an awesome shower with great water pressure. (Little things that mean a lot : ) ) Having a full-size washer-dryer meant that we could get by with carry-on luggage and wash a few things if we needed to. Easy walk to Hollywood Boulevard's touristy sites (Chinese Theater, Dolby Theater, etc) or a quick Lyft/Uber to sites beyond. Alicia was super responsive when I had questions, which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay here, again -- and hope to!

Girls weekend
Wow! What an amazing home. This is a decorators dream. I contacted the owner after my stay to find out where she got the bed and bedding. We are already planning birthday get away in April and Anniversary get away in June. I'm so happy that I don't ever have to look for another place to stay. Location. Location.Location. Made me want to go home, gut my house and start over. I can't believe this corner lot in Hollywood Hills was so large. There is a small set of stairs that takes you to this hidden patio. Perfect for evening cocktails. Loved it! Can't wait to go again!

Very comfortable home in an excellent location
Great property that the host has completely updated. I would certainly rent it again, and would give it a high recommendation to others.

A Stay in the Hollywood Hills
The Luxury in Hollywood Hills was so pleasant to enter. It has a lovely, well appointed kitchen. The windows face south so the living room, dining room and kitchen are spacious, bright and sunny. It was easy to cook in here except there was no toaster or toaster oven or can opener. We had dinner one night with 10 adults and 4 kids. It took some creativity but we almost all sat down together to eat. That was pleasantly unexpected in a rental meant for four.
The master bedroom was quite comfortable with only occasional noise from the next door neighbors. There was a king sized bed and plenty of dresser and closet storage. The master bath had a lovely soaker tub. The shower, whether rain or wand was great. Liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner and mouthwash were provided. One annoying thing in the bedroom was a Nest motion detector. At night when if you turned over, the motion detector would light up. It took some nights to get used to it. I will admit the light was nice if a trip to the bathroom was necessary.
My son and his girlfriend were comfortable in the second bath. Their bedroom had a queen sized bed. This room turned out to be a bit more noisy. The bed was artistically against the windows. But maybe if it was against the wall it may have been more quiet. We were there in late November and we did use the heat. But using the heat at night caused it to be a bit too hot. And we set the temperature at 69-70.
There was a nice deck but a few pieces of furniture would have made it more useful.
If your plans are to be around Hollywood, this is extremely convenient. We had a car but often just took Ubers and Lyft's. I took a Lyft to Sherman Oaks for under $15 all in. You can do street parking as there is a parking pass. But if you rent a car, make it a small one.
Any issues we had were resolved promptly with the owner. She is very attentive and thoughtful.
There was an easy to use washer and dryer. The only other thing I would add is a throw or two in the living room and perhaps wash the windows.

Beautiful, airy, comfortable, and gracious, all within walking distance to the best in the Hollywood LA area. Hollywood bowl, Kodak Center shopping/theater/entertainment, plus great restaurants. Also, not far from the subway and the freeway, but you'd never know it once you're there. Fantasic views, too.

This property is lovely and in the greatest Hollywood /LA location. Walk several blocks to the Kodak Center shopping and theater, next door to the Hollywood bowl and entertainment, and several blocks to the subway and the freeway entrance. Also wonderful views and places to walk like Hollywood Blvd with many restaurants and attractions.
