No Pets Allowed. Panoramic views – all the way to Piedras Blancas Lighthouse – await you from this Park Hill beauty. This home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are three Queen beds. The living room, dining area and kitchen are on the main level with the Master bedroom. The living room features one TV with DVD Player, a gas fireplace and comfortable seating for six. We knew the house was going to be 1980s and that was fine.
We love the front porch because we could hear the ocean. One morning we had a deer and fawn visit us.
Window shutters were nice.
Carpeting needs to be replaced. The pink carpeting must be from the 1980s. The beige carpeting was old too. It needs to be shampooed.
House could have been cleaner.
It is dangerous exiting the driveway because the road is very steep and the exit is right below a blind drop off.
Master bathroom is missing a curtain or blinds and it looks right in the neighbors’ windows.
We left coffee and creamer for the next guests. We also left juice and water in the refrigerator.
The rental staff was very friendly and helpful.

My sister and I have enjoyed staying at this property many times and have always loved the view. The house is dated but has been very cozy and comfortable. This time we were quite aware however, of a good amount of needed maintenance. The furniture and floors were not very clean, the bedding is in need of replacement and the blinds are broken and we were not able to close them.We decided that we will not stay here again until some needed repairs are done and we have booked another property for our next visit. The view is beautiful but the house is not up to rental standards.

We stood the weekend at this beautiful place. The view is amazing, the rooms are a good size, quiet neighborhood, friendly city. Things are a little outdated, and the house does have some wear and tear but that honestly didn’t bug me, we really enjoyed the house over all. We would definitely come back and stay.

I read reviews about the issue with getting into the driveway and boy were they NOT wrong. Our car hit bottom several times. But the view is amazing! Entering the home was a “wow”! Everything is so dated like we just entered grandma Judy’s 1970’s home. The only thing updated was the tv which still had a few years on it. I joked that we should have been told to BYOK bring your own kitchen because everything in there was old and really needs to be thrown away. Not to mention the ant problem that someone else also mentioned. We had to go to the store to purchase ant killing products .The beds were comfortable and there was at least paper provided for us. Overall stay ok yes it could have been better considering we rent a home to spend time in the home.

The view and location of the property was outstanding. I loved the sitting room with the open windows and the cozy fireplace. The check-in process was a little archaic, I like the lock box method better, especially because we got in a little later than expected and the there was a blackout! The house was beautiful but needs some cleaning and upgrades. Some of he cookware was unsafe to use (pans) and we felt we had to wash everything before we used them, some dirty old dishes. Could use a new coffee pot with some coffee provided for the first day until guests can get to the grocery store. Need to treat for ants, after 10 minutes of cooking the ants would appear on the kitchen sink. Overall we enjoyed our stay but should be aware of the above suggestions.

Every room had an ocean view, plus we saw lots of deer, and the location was close to a park and beach access. The down side was that the driveway was hard to back out of on the hill, Venetian blinds need to be updated as well as mattresses, plus the carpet needed to be cleaned. Check in and out was convenient and easy.

This house was a perfect size for our family. The living room was cozy and kitchen was nice. 1 bed and bath upstairs and 2 beds and seperate bathroom downstairs worked perfect for us. The views from the living room are absolutely gorgeous and all the windows really let you see the whole beach. The street and driveway were incredibly steep to drive up.

We stayed six nights and had a wonderful time. The view from the main living area is gorgeous. The place is well appointed and as far as we're concerned was clean enough although some other reviewers have commented otherwise. The only point to be aware of is it the price of a view is that it is located on a steep hill. Pulling into the driveway and garage is not for the faint of heart.

My sister and I returned to this property for a longer stay because we had enjoyed the house very much in Oct. 2023. We loved the view, but this time the trees had grown so high and blocked a lot of our view from the living room which was disappointing. We were told they would be trimmed the week we were there but that didn’t happen. The house wasn’t as clean as it had been our first visit either. The carpet and floor in the upstairs bathroom really need some attention. We stil enjoyed the house despite the negative comments above. It’s very homey and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and has plenty of storage space. The ladies at the property management company are very helpful and pleasant to work with.

The location of the house was fabulous. However, most of the view was blocked by a tree that could easily be trimmed and the windows were very dirty. I specifically chose a place with a view so that part was extremely disappointing. The house overall was in dire need of new carpeting and general updating. Other than that it had everything we needed.

This house needs some attention and upgrades by the owner. The living space has good bones, but the furniture and amenities are very old and minimal at best. If the owner would invest a little in some upgrades, kitchen supplies and new furniture, the house would be a lovely place to stay.

Too many weird things happened that make us think it’s either haunted or someone has a key to the home and enters whenever they want.
Lights were turned on, front doors was unlocked, and water was turned on and left running.

Really enjoyed our stay here as a family of 6. While the place is dated, it is very comfortable. (If your an HGTV watcher, you will constantly be thinking about how to remodel.) At its core, it's a 1980's house with great views in a fantastic area. We enjoyed going to Moonstone Beach and walking the boardwalk. I would suggest Hearst Winery which is only 10 miles up 1 as a great spot to take in the view and enjoy some wine tasting. Also don't miss Madelines in downtown Cambria for lunch or dinner. We enjoyed walking around the shops in general as well. We also enjoyed Morro Bay as a nice drive south on 1.

To get this view, though, the house is perched on a very steep hill. That took some getting used to! Everything is dated in the house, but functional. We enjoyed the deck, the floor plan and the location of the house to the sea and town. The property manager was great - quickly responding to any issues we had.

We love the floor plan of this house, but it is in need of some things to be fixed. We have rented this home 3 times and sent a repair list each time and it never gets repaired. We rent it because it is a floor plan good for my 96 year old mother. It is very clean, just no repairs done that I have ask for!

Can't beat the views from this place, that's for sure. Every window you look out you see the ocean. Spacious and comfortable inside. Furniture is from the 80s...maybe and the carpeting is straight up disgusting in spots. I seriously don't understand why we were not allowed to bring our small dog with us to this home. He's completely house trained and frankly, there wasn't a thing in there that he could have damaged because, like I said, the furniture is very old and the carpeting is stained and dirty. But I don't want that to detract from the overall stay because frankly, we don't look for "fancy" places. We want to feel comfortable and overall, we were at this place. It was just frustrating to see it after being told it wasn't dog friendly.
