About this apartment rental

The unit is approximately 900 square feet. The unit has one full bathroom and one half bathroom. It is completely furnished with warm custom furniture, a queen-size sofa sleeper located in the living room, murphy bed in the den, color television and a DVD player. The unit has a cozy gas fireplace with stone hearth, dining room with table and chairs and private balconies with decorative railings. The spacious master bedroom includes a king-size bed. For your convenience, the kitchen is equipped with ample cooking utensils, a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and range. Hydronic heating is used to heat the slate tiles on the kitchen and bathroom floors. The condominium features high speed internet access via wireless network. Ski storage locker located on the lower floor. The unit was built in 2002 and is located in the Village at Squaw Valley. The condominium is in Building 2 - Starbucks access without having to go outside.

Views of the mountain from the living room. Several restaurants located in the Village i.e. Mamasake Sushi, Fireside Pizza, Auld Dubliner, Rocker at Squaw, Bistro 22 and Plumpjacks. Starbucks is also located in the Village. Exit the building and you are steps to the 'Funitel' to start your 'World Class' skiing.

I stayed here with my team/friends because I wanted to be close to Western States pre-race festivities. It was the perfect location. It was also clean and well-appointed. Ann was very responsive.

Great central location for a summer wedding (and for any activities any time of year!) Good parking underground and is steps away from an elevator to the property. The property was clean and well appointed. It is a very good choice for your holiday in the mountains!

This place exceeded expectations. There was a little snafu upon arrival, but Ann was super responsive to our needs and her communication is impeccable. Pictures don't do this place justice. It is a lot roomier than the pictures, and there is also a half bath! There were 4 of us adults, 1 toddler, and 1 infant. We fit super comfortably in the space. The space itself is very nice, and the decor is warm and inviting. Also has everything you need for home cooked meals. Location is superb. It is a 20/10 if that rating existed. It is right in Olympic Village. You can see the Dubliner Irish Pub from the balcony. And the noise doesnt keep you up at night. It is a nice base, you can hop right on the slopes, or bike on the trail to the downtown. There are also ski lockers that you're able to access when you rent the space, which is helpful. I would book this place again next time we visit North Lake Tahoe. It is a fantastic spot with a fantastic host.

This property is gorgeous and right in the heart of Olympic Valley. I ran the Western States 100 and stayed with my family before the start. Ann was extremely communicative and helpful with all of my questions. I highly recommend and would even stay here if it was not for Western States.

It was our first time staying so close to the lifts (with the property being in the village itself) of any ski resort. And after our time there, our standards are forever changed. The convenience of being able to get up/change/not worry about parking, while having convenient boot drying systems/ski lockers - made the ski trip stand out from all our previous ones. Ann was an amazing host who worked with us to answer any questions and I know for any future palisades trips, I'll definitely be looking to see if this stay is available.

The perfect location for a writing getaway with views to snowy mountains and plenty of dining choices as Thanksgiving grew close. This condo would suit a family with kids, as there is one primary bedroom and the other beds are in the main living area. Plenty of dishware and cooking items. The manager was a good communicator. I can recommend this cute, cozy condo.

This is our second stay in this unit. Great Mountain View’s facing away from the busy village center. Elevator ride down to Starbucks every morning for coffee. Larger than normal balcony makes for a relaxing visit.

Nicely appointed, clean, spacious unit in the middle of the village. Had everything we needed, the murphy bed was very convenient, and we really enjoyed peoplewatching from the balcony. Just a couple of things to note, there is no pool, but each building has at least one private hot tub (you can access any of them). Also these units don't have AC, but this one stays pretty cool because it doesn't get the afternoon sun.

We just visited Squaw Valley (now Palasades Tahoe) for the first time in 40 years. My how things have changed! This condo was in a great location, just steps to the Tram. I don't think the location can be beat. We had covered parking, use of a ski locker and even boot warmers in the unit. Everything was as pictured. We were very comfortable in this spacious condo. Ann and Forest were ideal hosts. We would definitely rent this condo again.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in this unit at Palisade Tahoe. Location of building 2 was ideal within the Olympic Village, right across the plaza from main lifts and heart of all restaurants and other shops. Did not hurt to have Starbucks in the building every morning. Unit itself is well laid out with all amenities and very comfortable. Internet Television was challenging to operate but we eventually figured it out. Host was very responsive and accommodating…would definitely recommend andstay here again !

Spacious unit with nice amenities in a super convenient location. Starbucks and the pizza restaurant is in the same building, and the lifts are just straight across from the building. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short due to the incoming storm so it was a pretty pricey trip for us, but would definitely recommend for people who are ok paying a premium for a ski-in/ski-out rental.

Can’t beat the location, right in the middle of the village of the best mountain of Lake Tahoe. Village offers dining and shopping options. The unit is a great size for a family with a full kitchen and spacious main room. Meals can be prepared and served on a dedicated dining area. Fireplace is a snap to use. Owners are responsive to any issues as well. Would definitely stay here again.

This property is as close to perfect as you will find if you’re wanting to stay at the base of one of the most iconic mountains in the country. If it wasn’t already, cats out of the bag, if it’s available, you should book it. Small gym w/ Sauna and 2 hot tubs, Starbucks, restaurants/bars, and local flavor are all steps away. Parking is in a heated basement, so when it dumps white gold, you’re rolling out dry every day if you need to go anywhere. Truckee and Tahoe City are a short equidistant drive away if you don’t have everything you need while there. Fireplace, TV, comfortable beds, full kitchen. We’ll be back if Ann and Forrest will have us! Should you need anything, Ann and Forrest are incredibly fast at communicating with you too. Overall, it was perfect. Couldn’t ask for anything more from Ann, but Palisades Tahoe should up their Pool stick game in the lobby, because there is also a full size billiards table in the lobby;)

Very nice 1-bdrm condo with a king-size bed and full closet. The extra half bathroom is very useful, as well as the separate shower & bathtub. The living room + dining area is gigantic along with the extra den where the Murphy bed is located. Perfect for hosting several guests. Another perk is the full size oven & stove which allows multiple meals to be cooked during week-long stays. The location in building 2 is great for getting Starbucks and being 60ft from the Tram. The Rocker is next door for dining and the other village restaurants are a 1 min walk. Ann is very responsive by cell phone for any questions or needs. Definitely recommend this condo for stays of all seasons.

We stay at the village 6-7 nights a year as we have season ski passes. We came up for a summer weekend and had a fantastic time. This unit larger than most in a great location. Although it was just my wife and I, this would be an ideal unit for a family with plenty of space.

It was only me and my girlfriend staying at this beautiful condo, but could have easily had a few more people with us and still been more than comfortable. The kitchen is large and the main area has plenty of room for everyone. The views from the deck are spectacular of the Squaw mountains and valley. Quick access to great hiking trails and the local coffee shops and eateries are excellent.

The unit was as advertised, spacious and mostly clean. The property could use a few updates. There is no pool. The unit, along with all other units at the village DO NOT HAVE AC. If I would have known this, we would have booked elsewhere. One box fan for the entire unit is not enough and you are left leaving the windows open all night to hear the traffic and late night bar crowd from the parking lot. The occupants in the unit below us blazed morning and night so we had their nasty weed smoke coming in our unit so we either melted in the heat or smelled this persons weed. We finally called the front desk who indicated that smoking on the premises is not allowed and they took care of it. Communication was good, check in was easy and the location is great if you are wanting to do river, biking or lake activities in the summer.
