About this apartment rental

Well appointed Cape May Condo - directly across from Southern Mansion. Relax in the comfortable wicker chairs on the porch and watch the horse drawn carriages pass. Just two blocks to the pedestrian mall, shopping and dining. Beach is about five blocks away-Summertime brings a stocked beach box with chairs, umbrellas, toys, boggie boards-all ready for you right on the beach. JUST GRAB YOUR TOWEL, BAG AND GO! Off street parking for two cars -Central A/C, Memorial Day- mid September-7 night minimum Saturday check -in/out.

The rental rate includes your cleaning fee, and additional small extras-all designed to make your stay comfortable, and easier. Linens and towels are not provided, but are available for rent from a local company if needed. Come and enjoy our home at the shore, and create your own beautiful Cape May memories. Most of our 'rental family' return for more visits. We rent year-round, so please email or call for more information.

We had a great stay. The condo is on the first floor and it was spacious and very comfortable. We loved driving out tea and coffee in the front porch ir sunroom. The location is close to Washington Mall, Acne and beach. Having a beach box with chairs and umbrellas on the beach made it very comfortable. We only needed to carry our towels to the beach. It was a great week and the check in was very smooth and easy. Thank you for having such a nice and well kept house with air conditioning so clise to everything.

Fantastic stay this week in Cape May. The property was in a great location a few blocks to the mall and about a half mile to the beach. Very clean and much larger in person than it looks in pictures. The place was fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable week and the use of beach umbrellas and chairs was clutch.

My wife and children and I loved staying at Canterbury Manor, it is so close to everything. We used our car exactly one time in the week that we stayed there, and that was because I didn't realize how close the grocery store was! We were pleasantly surprised at how large the unit is: everyone was very comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked, we appreciated the extras like laundry detergent and dishwasher liquid. The beach box is such a game changer, as you don't even have to think about what you're bringing to the beach, just put on your flip flops and go. We loved it so much that we've already booked it again for next year!

Our second stay at Susan’s property. Perfect for our multigenerational family. Well-stocked kitchen and other supplies, plus laundry in-unit is great. Close to everything in town with just a short walk. The beach box is so useful and has everything you need for the whole family. Cocktails on the front porch watching the carriages go by might be our favorite time. Highly recommended!

The place was perfect for our girl's getaway in Cape May. The clean, spacious condo located at the front of this historic Victorian home, afforded us the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home at a fraction of the cost of renting the entire home. We had plenty of privacy, and the wicker-furnished front porch overlooking the garden was all ours. The home is centrally located and our host was attentive. We're considering making this an annual event - definitely considering this home for next year!

This was a cute and convenient house in a terrific location. We were able to walk to most of the things we wanted to do in Cape May. The exterior and interior are very attractive, and we had a comfortable place to spend time when we weren't taking in the sites. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Our favorites were George's Place for Greek, Maison Bleue for French, and Mario's for pizza. Highly recommended.

The property was as advertised. Our family of six adults was quite comfortable and had all we needed. The front sun room was a bonus for space and the view of Washington Ave. Plus, a simple walk to the beach, close to the mall, and parking for two cars. Susan was available if we needed her and everything was smooth and efficient from check-in to check-out. We'd stay here again if the calendar aligns.

This is a well stocked apartment in many way. The kitchen has everything you could imagine. There are plenty of games and puzzles for all age groups (we had a 6 year old) for rainy days. The plantings are beautiful. its an easy walk to the beach and the best part is the locker at the beach that has 6 chairs, 3 umbellas, 2 bogie boards AND toys for kids. Everything you could need.

Our stay was amazing - having three bedrooms and two and a half baths, plus the outside shower was very helpful and convenient. The front porch was lovely and having two sitting rooms offered more areas to relax and visit. The house is beautiful and we loved the gardens. Susan was also available and very helpful with any questions we had.

This was our second stay here, and it was just as good as the first time. It’s a great value, we love being close to the mall and Susan is a great hostess. The beach box makes it easy too! We have two small kids but even they make the 5-10 minute walk to the beach with no issues. Plenty of space inside and it’s always clean!

Our stay was great! Would recommend for a family of 4-6. Our group was 6 adults and even with one room having bunk beds there was plenty of room & we fit comfortable. Wonderful location & great that 2 cars fit on premises parking. Neat, clean & hosts provided great instructions. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Canterbury Manor! Susan was so easy to work with. The house was well-stocked with kitchen items and paper products. The main bedroom was way bigger than expected, so it was easy to fit our son's pack n' play in with us. The location was fantastic for our needs (only 2 blocks from Washington Mall area). We stayed off-season, so we didn't need to be too close to the beach, but it was also an easy walk.

We had a great stay in this property. Perfect size for 5 adults even with 1 set of bunk beds. Pictures were accurate. Wonderful location close to downtown Cape May and the beach. Our host Susan was responsive to all questions in a very timely manner. Would highly recommend a stay here.

This was the second time that we stayed in this rental this year, and we have come to love it as one of our favorite destinations. It was certainly a refreshing sight to find it as clean and neat as usual, compared to another rental this summer in Ocean City that was totally unacceptable. The host, Susan, maintains a welcoming lodging that helps we and our friends to relax, lay back, and enjoy Cape May.

This house has a great location to center Cape May where many restaurants are located. You can park in the condo lot behind the building or use street parking in front of the house - we were visiting in November so plenty of spaces to park. Conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and many more. Just couple blocks of walking. Property is great as well, its an old house but cute and cozy for a family to stay and enjoy.

We did a girls only weekend in Cape May. The home was clean, spacious and comfortable. We were in walking distance of the craft show at the convention center and all the shops. Would definitely rent again.

The property was PERFECT for our stay! Excellent location - walking distance from town center and beach, and beautiful view of the Southern Mansion. It’s remote enough where you don’t hear all the town bustle, but close enough to get everywhere quickly. Susan was incredible - friendly, quick to respond and willing to assist with any questions. She also provided so many amenities in the house - from hand soap and cleaning products to entertainment for all ages, she has it covered! Cape May is where my family and I would visit all the time growing up, and this time we got to bring my little nephews (ages 1 and 2) for their first getaway. Thank you for providing such a comfortable space for us to stay and enjoy our trip! Hope to be back soon!

There is no doubt about it, this property is at an amazing location being just two blocks from the Washington Street Mall! This is a first floor rental which is a part of a larger condominium. The first floor was big enough for our group of 4 adults and 3 small children and we had no problem with the other tenants during our stay. The cleanliness was a bit lacking but not enough to tarnish an very fun week in Cape May! Thank You!

We had a great two week stay in Susan's condo. The location is perfect, right near everything, including the Wash St Mall, and many restaurants. Lovely front porch to relax. And, as promised a stocked kitchen with all the little items you might think to bring (spices, cookware, etc.). We highly recommend renting here and we will be back! This is our second time at 735 Washington! Enjoy your stay!!!

My husband, four kids ages 18-25, plus one girlfriend and I stayed in Susan's condo for our nephew's wedding at the Washington Inn. We had a fabulous weekend! The condo is one of four units in a charming Victorian just a few doors down from the Washington Inn. The location can't be beat, and was my main motivation for booking this particular VRBO. We were able to walk to the shops and wander into Congress Hall, and could walk to the beach if the weather had been nicer. The home itself is very clean, comfortable, quaint, and stocked to the gills with everything you could possibly need for a home-away-from-home stay. We wanted for nothing. Susan, the owner, was extremely accommodating, kind, and responsive. We will definitely look this home up again the next time we're in Cape May :)

Location was great- about 3mins walk to Washington shops and walking distance to beach. Condo is spacious with great selection of books and board games available, if you just want to relax inside. Owner was responsive to questions and available to assist as needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
