This period 1930’s house, is the perfect base to visit all that the North West has to offer.. Ground Floor:
Living room: 38" Freeview TV, DVD Player, Gas Fire
Dining room: Freeview TV
Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet, Grab Rail. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. External utility with washing machine and freezer. Travel cot available on request. Enclosed lawned garden and patio with garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 5 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a stairlift installed and is available on request.. Located in the village of Wrightington, this semi-detached, garden-fronted, period 1930s house, offers comfortable accommodation, ideal for families and groups of friends. There is plenty of off-road parking, and it has an enclosed rear garden, which is ideal for al fresco dining.
Next door is Derby House, which has a great café, restaurant, and food hall, with local award-winning butchers, as well as a substantial shopping area for clothing, toys, and gifts. Wrightington also has a couple of good pubs and restaurants within the village. The nearby Wrightington Hotel and Country Club also offers great spa and golf packages. A wider range of amenities can be found in Wigan, and from here you can take a train to Liverpool, Manchester, Preston, Birmingham, or even London! Thanks to its proximity to the motorway network, less than 2 miles from junction 27, off the M6, there are so many places to visit within easy driving distance. Blackpool, whose many attractions include; the famous Blackpool Tower, Blackpool Zoo, Pleasure Beach, Sealife Centre, Madame Tussauds, water park, and annual illuminations, is just a 40-minute drive away. The popular cities of Liverpool, Manchester, and Lancaster are all within a 45-minute drive, and just over an hour away is Cumbria’s stunning Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Park. Within a short drive, you can also find Lancashire’s beautiful Ribble Valley, with its quaint villages, excellent walks, and welcoming country pubs, as well as the Forest of Bowland (Area of Outstanding National Beauty).

This house was easy access to Wrightington Hospital and a base whilst my husband was in hospital.
It is old fashioned decor but spotlessly clean and had all facilities needed. The enclosed back garden was an asset for my dog and during the really hot spell a lovely place to sit. No complaints
