House is 10 yards from the beach and 30 yards from the the water's edge depending on the tide. First floor offering 3 sets of french doors leading to outdoor deck- deck swing, dining and sun bathing , Second floor upstairs has private master's suite with another set of french doors leading to the deck with a porch swing , a great view, the roar of the surf and sunbathing as well. Sleeping 13 with three bedrooms with a twin loft. 2 Bedrooms downstairs- , FIRST BEDROOM- Queen Bedroom has an electric fireplace and a twin pullout sleeper, SECOND BEDROOM- Fun full size bunk with full futon. MASTER BEDROOM UPSTAIRS with king and private bath. Outside master on the second level is small open loft off stairway landing with twin bed and chest of drawers. Even though the area is open this area is considered a small bedroom. There is also a twin roll-a-way bed.

Living area, queen room and master bedroom have flat screen TV's Downstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The master bath upstairs is very roomy and has a shower. Washer and dryer are conveniently located on the first floor.

The home is decorated with a personal touch with a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

The dining room seats 6 and 4 bar stools provide comfortable seating to enjoy the finest fresh gulf seafood available daily or dine outside on the deck while listening to the waves and gulf breeze. A great place for friends and family to gather.

Outside downstairs around the garage is ample covered parking for four. Concreted, it is large enough for outdoor fun with outdoor shower and grill for your enjoyment just steps away from the beach and the waves.

Take It Easy is a non-smoking home with no pets allowed. Grilling is only allowed on the ground level in keeping with GALVESTON CITY ORDINANCE PROHIBITS GRILLING ON DECKS.

This house was great for our family! Very cozy and just steps to the beach. We didn’t have any internet but considering it was approximately two weeks after hurricane Beryl, I believe it was an outage issue for many. They had a dvd player and some dvds but unfortunately we never found the remote, was glad they had some games and books to help with the quiet times. We did end up leaving a day early because the weather was horrible and having no internet left us with bored kids and nothing else to do. No fault of the owners! I do recommend this house and wouldn’t mind trying it again in the future.

We had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids, and this house was perfect for us. It was extremely clean. We loved the decks, especially the main one downstairs. We spent a lot of time out there! Proximity to the beach was excellent. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals, and I appreciated that laundry detergent was provided! We did need to put sheets on the bunk beds, but I that seems to be standard for most cleaning companies in Galveston. The only surprise was that the bedroom downstairs (not the bunk room) does not have a queen bed as described in the listing--it is a double/full, but we made it work.

This location is optimal as far as beach access and views. We have stayed here on multiple trips and have enjoyed our stay every time we visit. There were a couple of minor repair issues that needed to be addressed during our stay, but the owner was very responsive and helpful. We did have to make up the beds ourselves in the 3rd bedroom and stairwell upon arrival. Minimal paper products and laundry detergent were made available—we did have to purchase more of those. Overall, this is a family favorite that we hope to return to!

Great house and neighborhood at Pirates Beach! Older home but very adequate! Being steps from the beach was very convenient with lugging all our beach attire! Love the ocean views from either side of the house! Plenty of sleeping space for our family of 8!

We liked the house and certainly the location--both distance from beach and from Galveston. Actually, it was not optimal for 9 adults, but we new this in advance the bunk bed arrangement was not great for the 4 adult children and the 4th "bedroom"/nook was a bit of a surprise. The kitchen appliances were modern and good. However to our surprise--and probably the owner's, there was not a functional can opener. The key box was difficult to open as was the door knob lock. Marsha was very helpful.

Right on the sand to watch the kids at the beach, shaded deck areas for both morning and evening shade, lots of space for the whole family and a superbly stocked kitchen. This is our second stay and plan on returning again!

Property is amazing. The most significant thing we noticed was the lack of mosquitos. We were prepared for them, but we honestly had zero issues! Huge surprise for Galveston in May. The porch has the perfect afternoon and evening breeze. It was such a relaxing, comfortable spot. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone. The master is upstairs with its own porch. We comfortably slept four kids and five adults. We will be back.

We enjoy our stay. The house is as described and in a great location. We had views of the beach from every room. The size and layout of the house was perfect for us (family of 7). Plenty of room for the kiddos and adults though we spent most of the time at the beach. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. We came at Christmas 2022 during a record cold winter storm. The property manager let us know the power was out the first night so we could make other arrangements and refunded our money for that night. The rest of our stay was wonderful great house with great views. We will be back!

Stayed here for thanksgiving with my family! It was perfect for us. Lots of space for eating, drinking and being merry! Patti was very accommodating and easy to contact. Will stay here again if coming back with a big group. The large windows were perfect for beach viewing because of rain during the week. Much needed getaway.

The property was awesome! Ample space and sleeping for 5 grown men and 1 teenage boy. Location and description of the property was accurate from the listing. We could not have asked for a closer walk to the beach. It was great.

Our family enjoyed a relaxing weekend at this classic Pirate’s Beach house. The views are spectacular, and the house itself was comfortable. Decks all around every floor added to our most enjoyable experience. A special shout-out to Marsha, the property manager, who was responsive and very helpful!

The view, the view, the view!!! Wow, and right on the beach! So fun for all ages. Loved having a morning deck and afternoon deck so there was always an option if you wanted sun or not. Not all the beds had their sheets on them, so we had to put on the rest and the 5 tv remotes were difficult to figure out. Other than those two things the house was perfect.

Everything we wanted and needed...perfect relaxing stay ON the beach! Breathtaking views...could not have been more perfect. Our original plans included kids and grandkids and we wanted space to gather and this house seemed perfect. Ended up being just me and my husband and it was perfect for that too. Enjoyed the views from every deck, the perfect distance from the bustle of town, all the books... the list goes on. Originally thought we didn't need that much space for just the two of us but we are already planning to return next year even if just us. Once you've had the best, nothing else will do!

House was just as described. It was literally steps to the beach. With small children and daily set up, it was an easy transition from house to beach. The decks were great with one for morning and another for evening, both with beach and gulf views. Inside was comfortable, with nice layout of rooms. Trips to town were only 10 minutes away. Looking forward to coming back.

This house is just spectacular! Great views and steps from the beach! The kitchen had everything we needed. The primary bedroom is an oasis, the bed is super comfy. I absolutely loved the deck and the swing on the deck. I could have slept out there. It's a great place to have your morning coffee. We enjoyed our time at the beach, my son even started surfing because there was a board downstairs. Like I said it was a great week

My family and I spent several days here. Age range 5 months old - adult. We were so close up the beach the kids could go back and forth. The house was beautiful and comfy. Everything we needed. I would definitely recommend.

This is our 12th stay at Take It Easy and we will be back!!!! The house is so close to the beach and so clean and comfortable. The moment you walk into Take It Easy is home. Being able to watch the kids on the beach from the deck was perfect. There aren’t many homes that have shaded decks and this home has three. When the sun is one side, you have the opposite deck to enjoy the shade and beach breezes. I hope we can return again next year!
