We had a lovely week using Rowanlea Cottage as a base for exploring this part of Scotland.
We had a lovely week using Rowanlea Cottage as a base for exploring this part of Scotland. The cottage was lovely and roomy and had all the facilities we needed for an enjoyable break away. Only problem was the top shelf of the dishwasher which took some mastering, and had to get a lighter for the cooker hob. However these were minor things and the cottage was well equipped with all we needed. Would definetly recommend it as a stay near the beautiful beaches at Nairn.

Impeccably clean with everything that we needed.
Impeccably clean with everything that we needed. Comfy beds, good showers. The dishwasher is only half-size though so take plenty of tablets. Friendly and helpful owners, who very quickly solved a small issue we had. Handy location within walking distance of shops and the beach. Lovely sandy and quiet beach. Some great days out very close by - Cawdor Castle, Culloden Battlefield. Great location for visiting Inverness and Loch Ness. We would definitely recommend this cottage and area, especially in the current situation with coronavirus. We felt very safe there. Thank you for a lovely week's stay :-)

Beautifully clean cottage in lovely Nairn.
Beautifully clean cottage in lovely Nairn. Really comfortable place to stay, well equipped and good space. Great for touring local area and beaches. Dolphins in Moray Firth were a highlight.
A temperamental dishwasher shelf then a problem with a broken fridge but owner tried hard to fix for us.
Would recommend Rowanlea and hope to be back.

Everything was to a high standard, the sun lounge being an added bonus. Everything we needed, seamed to have been thought of. The bed was very comfortable, also the furniture in the TV lounge. We felt very at home and would consider returning in about 18 months.

Cottage so comfortable and cozy and very well equipped had everything you would want and so clean and fresh. Generous amount of plates, cutlery, glasses and mugs also so many utensils. We spent most of our time in the very comfortable conservatory and if it had had a television I don’t think we would have moved from that spot.

Lovely property in a quiet residential area, clean and modern, great kitchen very well equipped
We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious bungalow. we arrived to a very clean and tidy property, there was milk in the fridge for us and tea, coffee and hot chocolate on a tray in the kitchen!!!
We enjoyed walking to the town centre and the beach, both a short walk that our young children enjoyed too.
This is a great base for exploring the Highlands and we would definitely recommend it!
