Centrally located in Pateley Bridge, this first floor holiday apartment is ideally located for exploring the wonders of the Yorkshire Dales. . 1 step to entrance.

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Attachment, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Public car park, free of charge, 50 yards away. No smoking. . Overlooking the picture postcard and floral High Street of Pateley Bridge, within the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this 18th-century holiday apartment is comfortable, superbly presented and ideal for both summer and winter breaks. It has been lovingly restored and is furnished with a blend of antique and contemporary furniture. The delightful dales town of Pateley Bridge offers a great combination of pubs, restaurants, varied shopping, all within 50 yards, and the acclaimed Nidderdale Museum is within walking distance. The valley of Nidderdale has a wealth of places to eat, from hearty village pubs and cafés to a Michelin star restaurant, all within 5 miles.
The Old Clockmakers is well placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park, both on foot and by car. Walkers will enjoy hiking along the Nidderdale Way, a circular route that passes through the town, or for a more leisurely flat stroll, walk the banks of the River Nidd, upstream to a local pub. At the head of Nidderdale, set in a wildly rugged landscape, lie 2 reservoirs, the largest masonry stone dams in the world, popular with bird watchers and walkers, whilst being easily accessible by car. Howstean Gorge offers a range of outdoor activities, with the nearby Brimham Rocks, managed by the National Trust, where you can see the effects of raw nature upon the local gritstone.
The spa town of Harrogate is just 13 miles away, where you will find a wide selection of beautiful shops, restaurants and pubs. High tea at Betty’s is a classic afternoon tradition. Ripon has a beautiful cathedral, brimming with history plus the Spa Gardens, Studley Royal Deer Park and close-by is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey and is 7 miles from Pateley Bridge. The market town of Skipton, with local street markets three times a week, a Norman castle and the Embsay to Bolton Abbey steam railway is 25 miles away. Knaresborough home to another castle and England’s oldest visitor attraction, Mother Shipton’s Cave and Petrifying Well, is 16 miles away. A little further afield, the historic city of York is easily accessed by car. Shop, pub and restaurants within 50 yards.

The property is ideally located in the village for access to all the local services. The property was provided with all necessary equipment etc.. It is furnished with a charming mix of antique furniture and new. The friendly owners run the shop downstairs and are on hand if needed.
