This home is perfect for a friend’s getaway! The screened in porch is perfect. Everything about the house was great. Barbara was very prompt with her reply. Her welcome text and next day check in text were greatly appreciated! The house was stocked with all of the comforts of home. We cannot wait to come again next year. Thank you, Barbara!

This historic home has a relaxing screened-in porch for cool evenings, an updated kitchen with a spacious open concept dining/living room. It sports a master bedroom on the first floor and three bedrooms on the second floor. Great for large families with youngsters. The locations is about a mile from the rail trail bike path and two blocks from the beach. It has much to offer!

Couldn’t ask for more! Definite pride of ownership displayed. Handy to restaurants, beach, and other communities. Top notch house for the money!

Great house for a family of 10. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children. Everything was neat and tidy. The property owner was very accommodating to us and when we had a problem with the heat, it was fixed by a professional heating technician, within hours. Totally satisfied with all the included items for use at this property (sheets,, towells, hand and dish soap, childrens toys) and the list could go on and on! Location very convenient to many beaches, shopping and restaurants. We would definitely rent this property again!

Charming home. Updated kitchen. The location couldn’t be better. We were able to explore the Cape and try a new restaurant (or 2) everyday. We picked up groceries for breakfasts and snacks.
I was disappointed to find we had to make up our beds upon arrival and launder the sheets and towels the morning of our departure. We paid a $300 cleaning fee in advance. We left the house as we found it. A quick clean of toilets, sinks, and floors is all that was needed.
The owner was very responsive and helpful.
We were not able to get the heat to come on. The temp got down to 59 degrees, and while the fan worked, the air blowing was cool. We used the electric fireplace in the bedroom to heat the downstairs. And, it was warmer outside than inside during most days - so opening windows helped.
Despite these downsides, we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was spotlessly clean and lovely decorated. The backyard is large and furnished for dining with a gas grill and hammock. The glassed in back porch has a bar perfect for entertaining. Loved the outdoor shower. The stairs inside to the second floor are narrow and turn at a sharp angle. They were slightly difficult for our seniors.

The house was perfect for our trip! We were a mix of family and friends with 3 kids of different ages and everyone enjoyed the home! Barbara was a great host - very responsive and provided lots of recommendations. It was our first time staying in Cape Cod so we appreciated all of her suggestions. The house is walking distance to the beach and an easy drive to many other parts of the Cape. We look forward to returning and hope to stay at this beautiful house again.

Everything about this property suited our group! We were six adults and two small children, and the space and layout were perfect for us. The fenced in backyard was huge & provided a safe area for the kids, included large grassy space to play (wiffle ball and cornhole) and a patio with large table for outdoor meals. The porch was amazing and we spent much of our time there, hanging out, playing cards ect. The proximity to Earle Road beach was the initial draw but we got so much more out of the home than anticipated. We love Cape Cod and as our family has grown we were so grateful to find a place that suited us so well, where everyone was comfortable and had space. Barbara was responsive when we had an occasional question. The experience was easy from check in to check out. We definitely hope to return next year!

We loved the quiet neighborhood feel, yet this home was close to the beach and every shopping convenience. The house was spacious and kitchen well equipped. As the ringleader for this trip I was glad that half the visitors cleared out early as it helped with check out. All in all a grearat stay. Thank you for sharing this lovely home. Pincheßartie

This house was a perfect fit for what my family and friends were looking for for our trip to Cape Cod. The listing was accurate with the house living up to what is was in the photos. The location was easily accessible and loved that is was so close to the beach. Our two families fit quite comfortably in the house and it was a great home base for our trip.
The only issues we had were with the check out process. We were asked to clean all the linens and sheets we used and have them folded and replaced in the closet before we left. This meant that in order to check out by the appropriate time it made more sense for us to bring our own sheets for the beds. It also meant that none of us could reasonably bathe the morning we left as there was not much time to do a full washing process with our towels. We also needed to have all the dishes cleaned and returned to the cabinets as well. Otherwise we would have to pay an additional cleaning cost. All other VRBOs and home rentals we have stayed at have only asked that we run the dishwasher and washing machine at check out, which is a bit more convenient. Not a huge problem, but did make for a less than ideal last day.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Barbara’s lovely house. It was well-located, easy to get to town, restaurants, and a gem of a local beach. The house was thoughtfully appointed with everything a vacationer would need, and was very clean. It was easy to communicate with Barbara. A gem!

We loved this house!
This house was perfect for us. There were 3 sets of adults and a 2 year old. The lay out of the house allowed for each of us to have our own special space. We had breakfast each day in the sunroom! Such a great way to start the day. The open space living room was perfect for family fun! The patio and outdoor shower were a plus. The house and and yard were immaculate! Plus, the beautiful beach was just 2 blocks away - I obtained a beach pass for the week, but most of my family enjoyed the 7 minute walk to the beach. The owner was always quick to answer my questions. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

The best house we've stayed on Cape
We loved everything about the house- the flexible layout, nicely maintained backyard w/ outdoor shower, great porch area, location to a small but very nice beach (short 5-7 min walk), proximity to everything we can ask for at Cape! Barbara is an awesome host who made the process seamless for us. We can't wait to come back next year!

Another great stay
We are repeat visitors to this property because it’s just perfect for us. Great places to eat in walking distance and multiple beaches just a stone’s throw away make it an easy and relaxing week. Be sure to enjoy breakfast out on the patio and relax later in the hammock with a book.

Excellent House, Great Location in Harwich
We loved our stay in the house. The location was an excellent launching point for all our day trips. We love the Harwich area and the ability to get to the ocean, bay and sound beaches and the town of Harwich has a lot to do.
This was our first stay at the house and we would definitely stay there again. Very clean and comfortably slept our party of 10 (4 parents, 6 children age 12 - 22).

Great location and nice backyard
It was very nice to have an easy walk to the beach. My 7 year old nephew and teenage sons had a great time playing in the well-equipped and fenced yard. The stairs to upstairs' bedrooms are a bit tight, so it was nice to have a King bedroom as well as a pull out sofa bed on the ground floor in case you need it.

Very nice area Mid Cape, convenient to the whole Cape.

Great location, beautiful home
We love the mid-Cape location which made it easy to take little jaunts to wherever we wanted to go, but it was also fun to be a short walk from an adorable town beach, perfect for soaking up sun while reading a book. The house itself would be great for a large crew, but for just two of us it was easy to have single-level living for a week. The owner/hostess was incredibly responsive to all our questions and provided clear and helpful instructions. Totally recommended for a stress-free vacation.

Good spot. Would recommend
House is nice and location is very good. Beach is not really walkable with gear so you’ll need a weekly sticker or drop off and bike back. Earle rd Beach is great.

West Harwich Memories
This property was perfect for another Cape Cod vacation week with my adult children and grandchildren. It offers so much...plenty of space, great yard and fun room off the kitchen for hanging out. It’s our second year and have wonderful memories from a great week of fun in the sun with family.

Convenient location
We had a great stay! Although we didn’t use the closest Earle road beach much, it was easy to get to and not crowded. Enjoyed the waves and seals up at Nauset. We rode bikes up to the bike path, over to Chatham and over to Orleans. Also kayaked through the marsh, check the tide schedule to have the best ride. Hub and I walked to town for dinner. Kids had some friends, they enjoyed hot dogs on the grill and playing catch in the back yard. Full service Grocery is 5 min away and literally 2 min walk to liquor store. House was spotless and gave enough room for me to set up temporary office in the master bedroom. As other reviewers have said, bunks are made for young kids (5 ft or less) so my teen used the upper bunk. Wonderful vacation, we greatly enjoyed Barbara’s home.

Great place to stay on vacation
I would recommend this home for your vacation stay. We had 9 people in total, 4 adults and 5 children. The bunk bed bedroom was especially nice for the 4 youngest kids to share while the other rooms were nicely decorated and quite comfortable. Having two full bathrooms in the home was quite a plus with this many people as well. It is a short walk down the road to the ocean, the grill was a convenience for the days we chose to eat in, and other days we took advantage of the great restaurants in the areas. Several of us traveled into Boston twice during our stay to take in the sights there, and short drive to visit to Plymouth Plantation was just the thing to finish off a good week before heading home again.
Barbara was very kind and responsive when we had any questions and I would not hesitate recommending others stay there as well.

Great beach house; everything you need.
Just got back from a week at this property and it could not have been better. Lots of room for a family of 8 adults to spread out; bery clean home that was well stocked with kitchen and bath essentials. The enclosed screen porch in back of house was our favorite early evening spot after a day at the beach. Walking distance to food, pubs, and most of all, a beautiful beach. Barbara was an excellent host. Highly recommend!!

Just more than we expected...
It was the first time that we have ever rented a house and it was the best experience one could make for the first time. Barbara was very helpful in the beginning answering all questions immediately. When we arrived, we found everything we could think of. The kitchen is even better equipped then my own...
When it was raining, Barbara got in contact with us to tell us what we could do. We also found a lot of information of the Cape: maps, guides, etc. - so helpful.
The location is also ideal for a stay on the Cape! We will definitely stay again at that house if we visit the Cape again. Thanks a lot for that very pleasant experience.
