Recently remodeled - NEW kitchen appliances, freshly painted throughout, NEW wood floors in all bedrooms - 2020! This modern house with ample space inside and out is in a quiet neighborhood halfway between Newport, RI and Point Judith, RI. Pre-cleaning and surface disinfectants completed by reputable cleaning company.
Access to two kayaks (oars and life jackets) located at the Association Beach - for your private use - on the Narrow River, down the hill from the house, river beach parking available.
Centrally located, you will be within a short drive of four (4) popular Rhode Island Beach Areas:
• Narragansett Town Beach – classic New-England salt water beach – 5.5 miles south
• Easton Beach - popular surf beach w/ carousal and aquarium – 14 miles north
• Scarborough State Beach - popular and well known - 9 miles south
• Salty Brine (Galilee) State Beach - white sandy beach and the Roger Wheeler's (Sand Hill /Cove) State Beach - a family beach – 12.5 miles south (near Point Judith)
Enjoy the sounds of the surf, the clean sand, looking for sea glass, jumping the waves and the nearby snack shacks. Beach items are provided at the house for your use (beach cart, beach chairs, sand mat, umbrella, and cooler). Just pack up and go, so you have more time to enjoy the beach of your choice. Freshen up in one of the two showers and use the new large capacity washer and new dryer to get your beach amenities ready for the next day.
Newport, RI is less than 12 miles away with its famous Cliff Walk, numerous mansions, Grand Casino, and eclectic shops; and not to forget its fine restaurants and sunset boat cruises. Head north just 7 miles to the quaint Wickford Village to stroll the antiques shops, toy store and fine eateries. Nearby, Dave’s fresh-food marketplace is convenient for picking up a prepared meal of your choice.
Don’t forget the other area amenities; kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, golf, trail walking, bicycling, etc. Dining options are numerous. One of our favorite areas in Narragansett village is Boon Street. We recommend pizza from the Bike Stop Cafe and Crazy Burger for a veggie experience. For seafood try the Coast Guard House or Matunuck Oyster Bar. Don’t forget a trip on the Block Island Ferry out of Point Judith, less than a 15 minute drive. Convenient coffee shops and boutiques on Route 1A just minutes away. This is the ideal location!

The property is well maintained, clean, and comfortable for our family of 6. The back yard is just the right size for outdoor games and dining, and the front yard is a lovely view from the porch rocking chairs. We loved the close proximity to Narragansett Town Beach and Newport. Carissa at Narraganset Properties was a joy to work with. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. We hope to return next year.

2 weeks at Narragansett
We had a lovely time at this home in Narragansett. It was a brief car ride to many beaches or restaurants. We loved sitting outside either on the front porch or in the backyard. It was very private with beautiful gardens. The owner was very responsive to any questions with a quick reply. We only wished that the living room furniture was a bit more comfortable. Maybe more cushions? Definitely would recommend for couples or families wanting a relaxing vacation.

Just what we needed!
Chris & Deb's house was a perfect match for our multi-generational family's needs! We loved the front porch with rocking chairs and fenced in backyard for our two small dogs. There are flowers everywhere in the yard which adds to the charm of the property. The house is spacious and up to date and we loved every minute of our stay. Thank you Chris & Deb for everything!!

My daughter found this fantastic house so we can bring our two dogs on vacation with us instead of boarding them. The house had everything we needed for cooking and grilling including a basic set of spices. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We loved playing with our dogs in the fenced-in backyard. The location was perfect and within 10 to 30 minutes from everything we wanted to do. We are already planing our trip for next summer because there is so much to do in Rhode Island and this house is in the perfect location. The owner is quick to respond to any questions about the property. I highly recommend booking your vacation at this property.

Nice neighbor. Walking distance to private beach/ lake. Kayaks were included and great condition and kayaking was awesome. Home is within short distance of state beaches, light houses and Newport. One of our best vacations defentily will return and rent same home.

The place was relatively clean, but we did encounter stray hairs and a moldy shower curtain in the upstairs master bath when arriving. Luckily, we found a replacement shower curtain under the sink. Additionally, the grease trap in the grill was full when we arrived and only half of the grill was functioning properly. Overall it was a great stay and we were happy with the accommodations. The house was well stocked with everything we needed except lobster utensils! Thank you for a wonderful week and fond memories.

We booked last minute for a four night stay with two other couples. Nice clean home in a quiet neighborhood. Great backyard for lawn games. Property management dropped the ball for check-in but a representative showed up two days later to rectify.

Wonderful home near everything
Our little family of three were very happy with our trip to Rhode Island, this home was exactly what we needed. It has plenty of space (could easily fit 8 in the 4 bedrooms), nice kitchen, a cute backyard with lawn games, a lovely front porch to watch birds and have coffee in the morning, and is very central to all we wanted. 15 minutes to Newport, 15 minutes to the City beach and 20 minutes to the state beach. And the beach supplies (chairs/umbrella/cart) were very handy.

Quiet and Secluded
Nicely equipped four bedroom house in a quiet and secluded neighborhood about 20-30 minutes drive from the beaches. Very nice front yard and porch area with four rockers. Private, fenced in back yard with a big table, plenty of chairs and a gas grill on the deck, under a shady tree. Nice TV in the living room and free WiFI. Our only negative comment is that the mattresses were a little saggy in the middle..
