Walk, don't drive to the beach! Our home offers the best location in Oceanside Village, with the beach just steps from the door., literally less than two minutes to the sand!
The house has been recently updated to include new furniture, mattresses, and appliances, in addition to new laminate flooring and six panel doors. The house is located in the cul-de-sac of Lark, the closest street to the ocean at the corner of Melody Lane and Ocean Blvd.
With our home just steps away from the beach, you can enjoy the ease and convenience of an oceanfront home without the oceanfront price tag! In addition, you will love all the family-friendly amenities Oceanside Village has to offer.
The kids will love the water play area, swimming pools, playgrounds and turtle sightings in the lakes, while everyone will enjoy the tennis, bocce, and pickleball courts, all located within the gated community!
Why pack sheets and towels? Our rates include a linen rental package that provides all bed linens and towels. When you arrive your bed will be made up for you with professionally laundered sheets. When you depart for home, simply leave the bed and laundry to the professional cleaning team.
We own two homes, side by side; each has four bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and each will accommodate a family of eight comfortably. We are confident you will find our smoke and pet free homes inviting, comfortable, and clean.
The house is equipped with keyless entry, providing a quick and contactless check in process. On arrival day if the house is ready prior to 3:00 PM we will text you that the house is ready to check in.
Our family loves to cook, so you will find the kitchen is modern and comes fully equipped. We have an ample supply of dishware, glassware, cookware and everything you will need to cook meals at the house for your family. The dining room seats six comfortably and the kitchen table seats four.
The living room is furnished with a sofa, loveseat, and chair, and the 42-inch smart TV operates using Spectrum Cable service. The secure wireless 500 Mbps internet will service all of your devices.
Views of the ocean, just 50 feet from the house, can be seen from the living room, master bedroom and sunroom. The sunroom has a table with chairs for playing cards or board games. It's also a cozy spot to read a book.
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, a smart TV that is also equipped with Roku. There is a large hallway with a desk and chair to offer a private and quiet zone for working remotely. The private bath has a walk in shower.
The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and dresser. The main bath offers a tub/shower combo. The laundry room offers a full size washer and dryer, along with an iron and ironing board for your convenience. The third bedroom, best suited for the kids, is cozy and has a full-size bed and small dresser. The fourth bedroom, located away from the other three, also offers a full-size bed, dresser and a private half bath.
The enclosed outdoor shower is a great way to wash the sand off before entering the house. There is also a garden hose that is perfect to wash your sandy feet after a stroll on the beach. Don't forget to catch the sunrise over the ocean for a magnificent way to start the day, in just under two minutes your feet will be in the sand!
The large front porch is the perfect 'drop zone' for sandy shoes, beach gear, and toys. There are plenty of sand toys in a storage box on the front porch you are welcome to use.
There is ample parking for three vehicles right in front of the house, without having to jockey your cars or be blocked in.
Oceanside Village offers three pools, including one traditional outdoor pool, children's water play area adjacent to a lounge pool and spa. The outdoor pools offer clean restrooms and shady spots with tables and chairs, as well as lounge chairs. These pools are approximately a half a mile from the house, so they can be accessed with a short walk or drive (ample parking available).
Golf carts may be rented from Oceanside Village by the week or by the day, and they provide a fun mode of transportation within the community.

We are confident that you will find our home a great place to relax and enjoy the many amenities that Surfside Beach, Garden City, Murrells Inlet and Myrtle Beach have to offer. This of course includes the beach, in addition to fishing piers, championship-caliber golf courses, water parks, shopping destinations, and a large selection of restaurants from oceanside cafes to fine dining options. Check out the Broadway on the Beach and Market Common shopping and entertainment complexes, located within 5-8 miles of Oceanside Village. The Garden City Pier is one mile south, offering fishing and a fun arcade. The new Surfside Pier is one mile north, this area offers several restaurants and bars that are fun and popular! Take advantage of the new walking path to safely walk along Ocean Boulevard to either pier and the dining and activities just one mile from our home!
Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) is less than nine miles away.

Our family stayed for a week and we all agreed this may have been our best beach vacation stay ever! That's saying a lot since we love to travel together. The house set up is great and the location is perfect. It is just steps from the beach. Located between the Surfside pier and Garden City Pier with some really great restaurants, close to grocery stores and shopping. Hostess is wonderful with great communication! We plan to stay again in the future!!

We love this area of Myrtle Beach and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was the perfect location, just right across the street from the beach. The neighborhood was very family-oriented. Would definitely book this house again for our family vacation!

The property and location are great. The check in at the gate was confusing as they have their new process in place and my dads truck had not been entered into their portal so I got sent to the office and then to Rose real estate office and it was very chaotic but some of that could’ve been handled differently by their office staff and by us as a family. The cleaning folks were still there until 3:15 and told me they left towels in the dryer but luckily we didn’t need them so it was not a big deal at all. I folded them and put them on the shelf in the laundry room. It was nice having the beach cart available from the storage box to use. Great access to the beach and plenty of room. We will be inquiring on staying again next year.

My family enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Village. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. Access to the beach is just across the road. It's a busy street corner. But, people are very willing to stop and let you cross.

Old home close to the beach
We lived how close to the beach this house is. The property manager was super easy to get a hold of and the maintenance guy, Ed, was amazingly helpful! He came out right away to fix our door and suggested restaurants and other activities for us to do when we asked. The appliances in the house desperately need to be updated (couldn't have a conversation in the dinning room, kitchen, or living room if the dishwasher was running because it was so loud). And the house was super far away from the pool in the gated community. We had older adults with us who couldn't do the walk: we had to pile in the back of my husband's pick up truck. Finally, the community charges you to have access to the back gate. This should be included in the price of the house. Overall, our vacation was wonderful. We had beautiful weather and other than the house needing updated and the fact that we had to pay to use the back gate, the community was quiet and our stay was great.

Close to the beach!
We really loved our stay!! The house was the perfect size for our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids aged 3-6). Lots of seating and lots of table space for meals. We loved that we were such a short walk to the beach and an easy golf cart ride to the pool. Having the covered porch was so great too. Kitchen was well stocked! I will say, my husband is 6’2” and had a hard time with the height of the ceiling in some places. With shoes on he really had to pay attention to the header leading into the living room and I would not recommend the tallest in the party using the queen room by the front door (across from the laundry) - it became a running joke how many times he was going to hit his head on the ceiling fan!! All in all we had a wonderful time and will absolutely book again!!

The location was great, right across the street from the beach entry. The place was as advertised, clean and comfortable. The extras such as umbrellas and sand toys were a nice touch. Because of my crazy work schedule, no cell service at work and lengthy commute, I was late getting back to the owner. They were very accommodating. Check in and out was a breeze. The $20 for the back entrance pass was well worth it as we were just at the end of the street. Much more convenient than having to navigate all the way through the property from the front entrance. Roads are narrow and cars, golf carts and pedestrians are plentiful. We all enjoyed the pool on several occasions. My only complaint would be the closed in porch- not much breeze unless it was windy. That and the afternoon sun made it a hot place to be in the afternoon. I would suggest woven blinds or curtains, but the way storms can blow in and out, I can understand why you don't have any. All in all we had a great week and enjoyed the house. My 4 year old niece told me more than once that she really liked "my house"! If only!

Perfect location!
The location of this house to the beach is perfect. Short walk to beach access and quiet, clean beach. House was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. A little warm Inside during a hot summer day but we brought a large fan and that definitely helped. We didn’t spend much time inside so it was not a big deal. Owner was easy to get in touch with any questions and left of lots of great information about area, neighborhood and house. Would definitely rent again.

Great location, very busy beach! House was ok, we have spent less for a lot nicer house close to beach. Wasn’t impressed how you could only rent a golf cart from Oceanside, and couldn’t leave the area on it. The house had a sewage smell all week. Very unpleasant at first but think we all just became accustomed to it. Wasn’t messaged that the house was ready upon arrival, but the lady said she messaged me but didn’t. I think she forgot

Great Location for Beach Getaway
We took our annual beach vacation here and had a great time. The location was outstanding - literally right across the street from beach access which made trips back and forth from beach effortless.
Be aware that the beach access ramp denotes the border between Garden City and Surfside Beach which have diametrically opposed rules for beach activities (e.g. NO fireworks on Surfside Beach versus ANYTHING GOES on Garden City side)...some kindly year-round neighbors pointed this out to us.
Super convenient to grocery store, Murrells Inlet seafood markets/restaurants, and Myrtle Beach attractions (though far enough away to have a quiet, family-friendly beach without the massive crowds). Recommend renting chairs and umbrellas from Woody's Beach Rentals as they'll drop off and pick up at the property.
The house itself had a number of pluses - great layout for gathering over meals (seats 10 people easily)/watching movies/ playing games, has a well-stocked kitchen, multiple bathrooms/showers including one outdoors, and a nice covered patio in front.
The primary area for improvement is the HVAC system. The A/C struggled to keep the place cool with the extreme summer heat. The place cooled off by morning, but the temperature rose during day and approached 80 degrees from afternoon through the evening. A lot of the excess heat seemed to come from the sunroom which was very nice but had no door or other means of closing off from main part of the house. One other recommendation is to replace the carpet in the back bedroom as soon as possible.
The owners and the housekeeping service were super easy to work with and very communicative. We had a great time and would recommend the property for anyone looking for an affordable and convenient beach vacation.

We loved our stay! There were seven of us and the house fit us well. Plenty of room for all of us. We spend most our nights on the spacious porch out front. And the walk to the beach was about 500 feet across the road to the beach across. We will definitely be back!

Great Location
It was a beautifully furnished and decorated home with so many wonderful spaces for kids and adults to hang out. 4-seater kitchen table, 6-seater dining room table, 4-seater round table in porch room, and a table with chairs on the porch. With 4 adults and 2 children staying, this four bedroom home was wonderful. Details: a master bedroom and a full bath nearby, another full bath in hallway, and a half bath in one of the two smaller bedrooms accommodated us well. With the amount of space and varied seating areas, the home also accommodated the daily visits of my other daughter, son-in-law, and two kids, for meals and games. Definitely a positive experience. Lastly, the proximity to the ocean and beach is such a plus. Would recommend this home to anyone who needs room for 8 for sure.

The home was perfect for us. With growing teenage girls we had the space needed for them to stretch out. Everything was provided...kitchen and bath...only needed to bring beach towels. The beach is just a short walk across the street! I would highly recommend and we plan on staying there again...hopefully soon!
