Living room furniture is worn. Carpets need to be cleaned. Several windows would not stay in a raised position. Overall, we were satisfied with the unit.

Our 2 sons and their families joined us for a week in Breckenridge

Overall pretty happy with this stay. Right on the lower 4oclock run this place is a great ski in location. Ski out is convenient, you are right on the trail, you will have to cross the street to hop on snowflake lift however. Place was clean and comfortable. Had a great time.
4.4
Only disappointment - no hot tub access

If you're looking for a decent ski in/out location take this place into consideration. We got a lot of stuff fixed for you! Overall, a nice place but the housekeeping crew needs to do a MUCH better job - Upon arrival, I didn't expect to find half eaten pancakes on the bedroom floor, a lot of cereal still under the dining table, food stuck to dishes in the cabinet, dirty crumb filled kitchen drawers. We quickly reported these problems along with other things in the unit (missing shower door, kitchen faucet cracked and leaking, dishwasher leaking & food debris on the dishes caused by broken glass blocking the bottom of dishwasher drain, cook & bake ware that had severely damaged/scratched and flaking teflon (flaking teflon should not be ingested as it is a known carcinogen). We were fine taking care of what we could; we fixed the dishwasher and bought new cookware for ourselves (gave the new cookware to our daughter). We rewashed all dishes, glassware & utensils and cleaned out and lined all the kitchen utensil drawers. The property management responded immediately to take care of the issues that they could. I'm sure that many of the things we reported were never reported to them by prior tenants, but were things that needed to be addressed. The unit was definitely left better than we found it or at least in the process of improving. We completely understand that rentals can take a beating. The things we encountered were not deal breakers for us - we still had a great time

This was a great place to vacation in Breckinridge for a Ski trip. You walk right out and put on your skis and you’re on the slopes. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location with ski in/ski out. Parking for large truck/SUV limited and beds were hard. Kitchen supplies need to be updated.

We had a great stay. The property was perfect for our family group of 10 and the location would be hard to beat. We’d definitely stay again.
4.4
We enjoyed staying here. It had enough room for 2 families with small children. The kitchen could have slightly better amenities -- namely there weren't enough spoons and the knives were kind of dirty. But everything else was great. We would stay again.

Nice unit.

We had a great stay at this condo. Great size and location. Even though it’s a bit hard to walk up 3 stories in ski boots, there is an elevator shared between the two buildings to help us flatlanders bring stuff to the top floor. Highly recommend for a family or two.

Reviewer Comments:
The location makes the property worth the money...ski-in/ski-out never disappoints. Though, the interior is very dated, and in need of minor repairs. The cleaning service needs to step up its game given the cleanliness of the place was not great. The third story walk-up kept us out of breath each day, but I guess as a flat-lander, that is to be expected! I'd still recommend the place. Truth be told, I think our experience was incredible simply because it snowed 8 inches the day we arrived, and then had Bluebird Skies for 3 days with the mountains nearly was a blast with absolutely zero lifelines!

Reviewer Comments:
The beds were horribly uncomfortable. There were 9 in our party, we stayed 3 nights, and we all ended up fighting over the couches. It was HOT in the rooms, despite turning down or off the heat. Most nights we slept with the windows in our rooms open. We also do not feel as though the unit was cleaned very well prior to our arrival. There was trash on the mantle, a hair tie on the floor, along with other noticeable pieces of trash on the floor. We did enjoy the ski in ski out location, however there wasn’t an elevator in our building and this unit is located on the 3rd floor.

This is the third time staying at Tyra, we love staying here. Everything about Tyra is aces.
4.4
Location was great, the unit was clean and comfortable. Really nice view of Peak 8 too. Management was proactive in checking in to ensure everything was going well, and very responsive to any questions we had. Would stay again.
4.4
We loved this ski in ski out location. Everything went very smoothly. I contacted the manager twice for small matters and had immediate answers. The condo itself better than expected. Would definitely stay here again.
4.4
Nice condo and in a great location for skiing. Only complaint is that the pool and hot tubs are closed all weekend. It was a huge reason we booked the property, so we were all really disappointed. Otherwise good stay overall!

Just needed a vacuum cleaner.

It was disappointing that the pool and 1 hot tub were not working-seems like that should have been info given to me prior to check in. Overall, the stay was still good.

Needs pots and pans. Pillows on couch stained Checking in they literally they waited until 4pm on the button. Nice condo though. More irritated about the check in

PROS:
-location, location, location! 4 o'clock trail is right outside and you can ski right to the condo to end your day. You can also ski to the snowflake lift, though you have to take your skis off to cross the road to get there.
-spacious! I think we nearly reached the max occupancy with almost all adults (and one baby) but for the most part felt like we had plenty of space and bathrooms -- though the guys staying in the bunk room said it was a bit cramped to have all adults in there.
-amenities! Not one but TWO community hot tubs (outdoor and indoor) as well as a heated indoor pool -- great to relax in after a long day or for those looking for a day off skiing!
-stocked condo: you get a starter set of toiletries, dish soap, laundry detergent, as well as many kitchen items like spices, which is super helpful. There's even a discount card for the local grocery store.
-super responsive hosts: the management company was just a message away and responded to our questions promptly.
-on site parking! We actually found a car really helpful for grocery shopping and going in to town.
CONS:
-though it's a convenient for skiing, it's a bit of a walk to get into town, and navigating the snowy/icy downhill road can be challenging.
-no ski locker: there is an outdoor ski rack between the two buildings but not actually in the unit -- makes it hard to store gear. We were trying to stack the skis up against the door or on the deck but it got sort of cramped.

Trip with nephews/nieces
As always, our stay in Tyra was excellent. Skin in/out was an excellent part of stay. Proximity to Snowflake lift and Public Transportation is always a plus.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. This was a bona fide ski-in, ski-out location and the kids were able to sled behind the condo after the slopes closed at 4:30. Furnishings were comfortable and the space easily accommodated our group of 9. One inconvenience: We were only able to get one of the electrical outlets for appliances to work. We would return to this listing.

Great location, nice and roomy for 10 adults. Lots of amenities in the kitchen and also humidifiers. Yes it’s on the top floor so get ready for lots of stairs everyday. You can walk down breezeway to elevator but it also steps up several times so no way to get luggage to room on a rolling luggage rack. I would suggest installing new curtains for sliding glass door. They are literally falling down. We have stayed at Tyra summit condos now in 3 different units on top floor. You cannot beat this location.

The location was great and the condo was very accommodating for two families. Plenty of room for everyone’s coats and ski stuff. Would have preferred a lower level and the condo was not very clean. Snowflake lift can be a little slow in the morning. Other than that it was great. We enjoyed it and Summit Vacationa Rental was great to work with.
