Very nice house with plenty of space and things to do,especially for our 11 year old grandson . Owner was very responsive and friendly

We had a wonderful weeklong stay. We brought our boat and loved being able to keep it at the dock and in the water all week. Cindy was to communicate with. Will definitely stay again!

House was as described and pictured. Great layout for our family trip to kickoff the summer. A ton of outdoor space, kids enjoyed all of the amenities and house was well equipped to make meals. Easy walk across the street to the private beach/dock, and the views from the deck are A+. Looking forward to returning soon!

There was so much offered at this home that it was hard to use it all. I am not sure whether I enjoyed the inside more than all of the opportunities outside. The owner will even help you rent a boat if you are so inclined.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location.

This property is amazing! The home is clean and beautifully decorated. The outdoor areas are perfect for sitting and enjoying the views out over the lake. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace and the kids had fun with the pool table! Very quiet neighborhood.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. We enjoyed everything available to us. The home has everything you might need for your stay. The outside area is the best. Covered area with a real fireplace and then another area with a gas fireplace by the hot tub. Plus the beach area was amazing. We went kayaking and sat at the beach area for hours. Of course the weather was fabulous. We will definitely go back again. Cindy is great to work with and very accommodating.

There's so much to love about this home.
The house was spotless and more beautiful than the pictures can show. Every square inch of the home provides a comfortable and pleasurable experience. You'll likely want for nothing ... except a longer stay.
The peace, quiet, and exceptional views make this home a place of serenity. I could feel my blood pressure going down as I stood in the living room, coffee in hand, fireplace warming me, staring out the window at the fog on the hillside and birds gliding along the water.
If you're worried it's "too far" from downtown, fret not. Despite feeling like you're a million miles from anyone, it's just a 15-minute drive into town for groceries, restaurants, gas, etc.
We sincerely appreciate Cindy, the host, for being easy to work with and providing such an exceptional experience. This is a "must rent" for YOU ... just grab it if it's available

The host was so easy to work with. The weather wasn't that great, so we mostly stayed inside-which was okay. The guys loved the pool table, and our 4 year old had so many new toys and books to enjoy. This was the cleanest VRBO we have ever booked. We all want to go back when the weather is warmer.

We enjoyed our time - kudos for the well-appointed and stocked home. It was perfect for our visit!

We had a family get together from the East coast, mid-west and Seattle all meet in Bellingham. It was a great location for all, including the little one (1 year old). House was equipped with toys and a baby gate for the stairs. And the outdoor barbie car was a big hit, for her and the grandparents! The kitchen was a great hangout place for the adults. Good family location. Would like to visit in the summer and use the lake. Would definitely stay again.

This was an ideal stay for 5 moms looking to get away and relax! House was spacious, well decorated, spotless and had all the amenities for a wonderful weekend! We loved the hot tub and had a fabulous dinner at the local restaurant, The Fork. Cindy was incredibly thorough and helpful. We hope to be back in summer! The house is well stocked for families with kids as well! Highly recommend!

We stayed here for 2 nights (5 adults and 2 kids) in January and the photos do not do this place justice! The house and location are absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked and we had all the supplies we needed to prepare a fancy dinner. Bathrooms and outdoor spaces were also stocked with your basic needs. And there were lots of games and activities for all ages. Cindy was a great host and was very responsive throughout. Overall, highly recommend and we're hoping to come back in the summer!

The stay was fine, we really just needed a space to have our son and his wife and our grandbaby to come for the day to celebrate Christmas. We were looking forward to a relaxing evening in the hot tub after they left but no such luck, it didn’t work. I also think the cleaning fee is a little high for all the stuff they expect you to do yourself.

We've stayed in many rentals all over the world, and this may have been the best stocked one ever! Hosts seem to have anticipated any and every need for enjoying the beautiful Lake Whatcom area. The home is spectacular with great indoor and outdoor living in all seasons, beds are super comfy, and the pool table with gorgeous lake view was a big hit!

We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with our family at lake Whatcom. The property was impeccable. The kitchen was well supplied and there were ample toys to amuse young children. The beds were comfy and the view was spectacular. Within a mile or so there was a county park with trails enough fir the family!

Our family (including dog) celebrated thanksgiving at this lovely and well equipped home in a beautiful setting! Water view, hot tub, massive outdoor fireplace - and excellent living arrangements for our family of 7. Our weather was great! Location excellent. We were so pleased with this home!

The house was perfect for our girls winter getaway - very well equipped, attention to detail, both in amenities offered and guidelines for guests.
Although the house can accommodate a much larger group than 3, it was very cosy. We couldn't have wished for more.
Except for the winter storm and power outage! Cindy immediately called offering help and useful tips to get us through. It was a very thoughtful and unexpected gesture and much appreciated.
We'd love to return to take advantage of the outdoor space and amenities - it would be a perfect summer vacation home as well as being great for the rest of the year.
As it was we braved the wind and rain to walk to The Fork, which was very good for lunch.
We will be back!!

My family and I recently stayed at Cindy’s for our vacation and it was perfect! Communication was excellent as well as the overall house accommodations. The house was beautiful with an incredible outdoor patio setup that made for the best morning coffee setup overlooking the lake. The house was unbelievably clean and everything was labeled almost like she knew we what questions we’d ask! All of the accommodations for the kids were great as well as Cindy provided endless activities to keep them busy and having fun throughout the whole trip. We loved our stay and are absolutely looking forward to staying there again! Couldn’t recommend Cindy enough and her beautiful lake house.

We had a wonderful time staying here. Cindy was very fast to respond to any questions we had. The beds were so comfortable. My two teenage kids said it was the best nights sleep. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had the best four days in this awesome house! It is stocked with everything you could need and is very welcoming and comfortable. The outdoor areas are beautiful and we spent countless hours outside at the table playing games while enjoying the views. We rented a boat that we were lucky enough to use straight from the houses dock- which made the trip. The lake and area is just gorgeous and we can’t wait to return!! Thank you!

Wonderful place for ten of us from both coasts (ages 4-70) to spend a week together. Great waterfront with dock, multiple kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat; remarkably well-equipped kitchen; covered outdoor dining area in addition to indoor dining room; toys and games for all ages (pool table is a nice touch); comfortably accommodated all ten of us.
Second summer in a row that we spent a week here. Highly recommend.

Our family visited your lovely home and had a great time. The home was exactly like the pictures. The kids enjoyed playing pool, badminton, standup paddle boarding, and playing on the giant lily pad in the water. We're already planning on returning because we loved our stay.

This luxurious cabin with amazing outdoor dining area and patios was well stocked and had something for everyone! We really loved the open layout that really took advantage of the view, the mix of modern & rustic styling and all of the fun amenities that were included. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, kayaks & paddle board, and easily connected our Fire stick to watch our favorite shows. It was very hard to leave and we already look forward to going back!

Can’t say enough about the fantastic time our family had at this property. From the well appointed kitchen, to the hot tub spa, the fireplace, the pool table, the dock, and kayaks and paddle boards were all excellent. We also really enjoyed hiking at Whatcom Park which was about 1 mile away. We will definitely be returning.

We had a large group of people, doing mostly outdoor activities in the mountains. The place was well-suited for large dinners and hang out. It was shoulder season we were there so we didn’t use the lake but it looked great.

Our group (4 adults and one kid) had a great time. Weather wasn’t the best for most of trip but it waa nice to hang out, play pool and enjoy the hot tub. We’d love to be back in the summer!

Myself and 5 friends had a lovely stay. The house is incredibly comfortable and has great amenities. The covered, outside fireplace and hot tub made it possible for us to be outside in the cold and enjoy the beautiful view/stars at night. Cindy was very thoughtful and responsive. We will definitely be back!

I stayed her with a group of six friends and we all agreed that this was a great house, beautiful location and very clean. They’re a couple things we wish we have known so putting those here for potential renters. The host has a longer list of cleaning and check-out responsibilities than most places we’ve stayed which she emailed/called/texted mid-stay to make sure we saw and included requiring renters to do all the towel laundry before leaving which is something new added at least for our experiences. Second, since the house is on a septic tank with water flow limits you are asked to only run one thing at a time - this means you need to be more planful (e.g. people need to stagger their showers after a hot-tub, or the morning of checkout can get tight with needing to run the washer, dishwasher and get any showers in before your departure.) All in all a lovely location and we recommend to others if if the water limitations and laundry are something that will work for you!

The property was great! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub & pool table & the view! We came for some skiing, relaxation, and to visit some of the great breweries in Bellingham. Very family friendly and comfortable. Loved all the towels, and the shampoo & soap in the showers, and all the dishes...plenty of everything!

The house is beautiful. The space worked well for all of us. Daughter with young family took the lowest level and that gave a bit more room to sprawl out. I took the room with the view. Lake was gorgeous to look at.
