This was our second visit and we plan to go back again next year! The house has everything you need, is clean and well stocked! The views… swimming, and relaxation! Amazing!😀

Fantastic updated cabin on the lake with private Dock.

The property was wonderful. The house is great. Clean, comfortable bed and couch.
But I HATE Vacasa. They will not leave you alone. Constantly sending texts or emails. They also added an additional day to my stay without my authorization and would not get back to me when I tried to cancel it. I hope the property owner thinks about using a different property manager. I will never rent from a Vacasa managed home again

Splendid retreat for a single family with young kids eager to play in the lake and sit by a campfire. (4 stars).
For adults, the property is limited. One bathroom, one mirror and one 3x3 standup shower. The bedrooms and bath are well appointed, but small for adults.
Not a good venue for 2 adult couples or adult family with adult kids, who are sharing tight accommodations (that was us).
Remote at the end of Lake Whatcom, so bring everything. No coffee and No wine to welcome you. Lots of mosquitos.
Overall very comfortable. A few upgrades, plus a second bathroom and screened porch would make this a fantastic place.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect.
From our easy check in, to our comfortable home, and our amazing views, with a fully stocked kitchen, fire pit, dock, and comfortable deck chairs.. we couldnt be happier.

We loved the location, comfort, attention to details and decor, and movie selection. We will definitely come back again! It was a great retreat for our annual mother daughter weekend away.

This lovely cabin is at the end of the road on the shore of Lake Whatcom. Quiet, clean, with comfortable bed and furniture. Just a note if you are mobility impaired: there is a ramp to the entry and good mobility inside. The bathroom is a tight fit for a walker, but I found it doable.

The house was so clean and cozy. Lots of puzzles and games with an amazing lake view. Only 25 minutes to downtown bellingham but felt like a world away. Loved this house!

We opted for a VRBO instead of a hotel so we could be near the lake in between hockey games. Glad we did! It was relaxing and beautiful.

It felt like a little oasis. It was really nice and we enjoyed our stay.

I loved the house & the covered front porch!

All the added amenities like Bluetooth speaker, extra seating pads for benches, well-appointed kitchen appliances & cooking/dinnerware. Even the knives and the pots/pans are in great condition like my own kitchen. Not the usual "crap in a rental". Generous supply of towels for beach as well as inside. Extra blankets/throws for warmth/snuggling. Wall hooks in addition to hangers for clothes. Spacious bedrooms. Really thoughtful touches everywhere! Makes me think this home was designed with the owners' use in mind. The place can accommodate up to 8. I would like to return with family. Only drawback is 1 bathroom. We are a couple who stayed.

I recently stayed in this home with four of my childhood friends. We descended from the east coast, Midwest and PNW. We stayed here for three nights and it was perfect. This place is everything the pictures show and more. Highly recommend this spot and look forward to come back!

We loved staying at this cozy home. We enjoyed the water and beautiful sunsets on the lake. The rental property company was easy to work with. We had a problem with the water line and they were quick to help and resolve the issue. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Thank you for the great stay! I am writing for my husband and 2 boys that stayed...they had a fabulous time! I saw the pictures, such a beautiful property and house! My husband said it is so peaceful there!! Great spot for fishing, kayaking (we brought our own), campfire/smores at night! Thank you again, looking forward to next time (I will be coming next visit!)

I really enjoyed the stay, the cabin was clean and cozy with breath taking views of the lake. everything we needed was available and the directions to the place were really helpful as our maps was seemingly trying to get us lost.

I loved the property everything was great. The only thing I am frustrated about is the cleaning fee and then we were expected to clean so many things without that being clearly explained. There's a note book we didn't know to look in and by chance did the last night other wise we would have had no idea of our cleaning responsibility. I think I should receive my cleaning fee back based upon that. Beautiful property.

The place was cute and had amazing access to the lake. There were no curtains in the kitchen and door that hindered privacy as the neighbours could look into the house. It was missing small bits like salt and sugar so bring your own condiments. Really comfy couches.

Beyond all our expectations! The time we spent at the Silver King was magical and simply unparalleled. The location was beautiful, the house perfect with all the attention to detail and decorations. Everything you could possibly want for a short or long stay was available at the house. Extensive movie collection, every kitchen appliance possible, and views that are stunning. We had the opportunity to enjoy a bonfire each night on the beach/lawn, as we enjoyed our beers and wine and watched the birds settle in for the night. Hikes were close by and epic, and our dinner at The Fork just down the road was amazing. Can't recommend The Silver King highly enough!

We spent the days kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming right off the beach in front of the cabin. There is so many beautiful hikes within a short distance. Our evenings were spent playing games, roasting hotdogs and watching old musicals. The cabin is so cozy and has just about everything you need. Would definitely recommend.

This property was perfect for a little summer getaway. It was everything we wanted for our family of all ages - adults, teens, a kid and a toddler. We enjoyed swimming, floating and fishing off the dock. We brought kayaks and launched right in front of the house. We barbecued every night and had smores at the firepit. We brought along an inflatable trampoline and there was a perfect area for it that was shady all day.
Bonus Discoveries:
1. A big lakefront yard with an abundance of shade.
2. Absolute end of the road privacy. Just one neighbor.
3. We discovered a creek at the south side of the property that feeds right into the lake.
4. Floating tubes and other beach toys provided (under the deck).
5. Excellent Wifi. I was able to work online from this property without issue.
6. Comfortable beds and high quality bedding.
A few minor things to be prepared for are:
1. No coffee. There is a dual coffee maker for both drip coffee and Keurig pods but no coffee is provided. Don't forget to bring your own.
2. Keep your shoes on outside. There is a little bit of crushed rock at the bottom of the deck stairs and it's pretty sharp.
3. The water pressure in the kitchen and bath is very weak and the shower has a really small showerhead.
4. Lots of mosquitos but only after dusk. Keep the cabin doors closed!
Overall this is a lovely, comfortable, lakefront property at an excellent price.

House was AWESOME!!!
You should let future renters know to bring coffee, tin foil, basic kitchen staples, as the house only supplies salt and pepper… we look forward to renting again…
