Wonferful. House is comfortable & lovelyn. Everyone loved the bedrooms! Night on backporch was a hoot. Games on the table was family time..Hows was clean. Nick picking- cleaning crew missed cleaning the the kitchen garbage & rugs needed stick tape. Let owner know so they are aware. We will go back.

Great place to stay if you don’t want a place directly on the beach. Reasonably priced and close to all beaches.
Only problem we had was parking which only accommodates 2 cars but sleeps 10. Not to many families of 10 that would come together in just 2 cars.

We were very reluctant to stay here as no one had done a review prior to. Maybe because they didn't have anything nice to say, but I can only speak for my fiancé and I.
We enjoy sitting out back on a patio when we stay at vacation rentals. THIS ONE.... gross. Everything was covered in Mold. There appeared to have been absolutely NO UPKEEP on the landscaping. The interior of the home is EXTREMELY dated, but appeared pretty clean. Carpet is in desperate need of replacement. Neighborhood is gorgeous, but THIS house sticks out like a sore thumb, sad to say it but we are Georgians(from North Ga) , but we just moved to the GA coast a couple of years ago. This was our first visit to St Simon's and it's a beautiful ISLAND! We enjoyed visiting and will DEFINITELY be back!! However unfortunately we won't be staying here again. Hopefully owner will make some upgrades and clean up the outside. The home has GREAT potential, but it's going to take a significant amount of elbow grease in the yard and a strong desire to make it better and do some upgrades, in order to get better reviews in the future. It could really be a beautiful home if owner takes the time to improve it. As I said it'
s got Great potential!! Location is AWESOME

We started this stay with trepidation since we've stayed at homes managed by Vacasa and swore we would never do it again. However, the local manager for Vacasa was great & responsive, we needed her! Within 24 hours, there was something wrong with the hot water, as our showers had to be under 3 minutes. The handyman came and turned the hot water temp up, but it was still a problem. There was no way 4 people could take a shower and go out to dinner in the same night. Other issues - master bath fan out, one MB sink sprayed water all over (fixed). We tightened screws on the sliding doors, but still screws missing and the screens were ripped. Master bedroom closet door issue. In the other bathroom, (BTW it is a 2 1/2 bath home) the hot and cold water were switched. Refrigertor is in bad shape - missing door shelf holders, rendering many shelves useless. Serveral of the rugs are curled up at the edges - tripping hazard. The major issue - the neighborhood was doing work on their water/sewer lines and one day when we came home we had no water at all. It was resolved within a couple of hours, however, we only found out that we had to boil all the water for 24 hours from a neighbor. You would think that Vacasa or the owners would have let us know. When we go on vacation, we like to do what we want to - not get tired out from dealing with a house. Will not be back.

House was very clean upon arrival and it’s suited our needs. No major complaints. When compared to a recent stay via VRBO in same city, it wasn’t as ideal — 1) sink and shower upstairs wouldn’t drain properly. Ended up making it dirty quickly. 2) we had to pay an extra $33 to check out at 2:00. All other VRBO had the later check outs granted free as a courtesy whenever it was available. 3) wouldn’t allow us to lower the thermostat below 70. If it were in the summer, this would be uncomfortable- we managed since it was a bit cooler this time of year. 4) this is clearly manged via another 3rd party service…not the owner. Only issue with this is a bit confusing to communicate as separate notifications, websites, etc used in addition to standard VRBO app/website. 5) Very limited parking that we were not aware of in advance. Requires really creative methods with 3 cars. Overall still a good weekend.

Loved this home! We stayed two weeks and explored the area. So much to see and do here, and the Low Country is beautiful. The house was located in a friendly, pretty, walkable neighborhood. The house itself was very spacious and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. However the sewage for the house is stinky and the outside sewer is not covered very well at all and is located right beyond the driveway. The back porch is cute but smells like stale smoke so we couldn’t sit out there. Back yard could use some landscaping.

This house was great for a multi family vacation! The bunk room was great for the kids and the Master bedroom could have easily fit a pack n play or 2.
The kitchen was well-stocked and even had several extras that came in handy to get us through most of the week (coffee filters, dish washer detergent, laundry detergent). The back porch and backyard was small but offered a nice place to get away or for the kids to play games. The house is close to several good restaurants and golf courses. The drive to the beach and pier wasn’t bad at all.

We really enjoyed our week in St. Simons at this property. We have a large family, with a wide age range of kids, and found this home very amenable. It's in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The screen porch in the back is a nice feature, and we liked the nook with the desk and also the half bath in the master bedroom. We had plenty of sleeping space, and the air mattress was a great addition in the bunk bed room for our littlest one. It was so convenient to the grocery store, and an easy drive to the beach. We would love to come back again!

Great Spot in St. Simon’s
We had a good experience with this property. When we got there, the showers curtains needed to be replaced and a toilet tissue holder needed to be fixed. I texted the property management and they had someone there the next day. No issues after that. Everything was comfortable, great location. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Place, could use a few more amenities
The property is in a great neighborhood, big live oaks with Spanish moss. The house itself is well designed and laid out. The kitchen dining and living room are open and well arranged for group conversation etc,, The upstairs 3 bedrooms are nice, Lots of sleeping spots with two bunk beds in one room, a king and a queen in the other two. there is a good screened-in porch on the back.
I own a VACASA rental in Oregon, and I am going to suggest some things that could make this property even better. The queen bed upstairs squeeks and makes noise. It could use a replacement. We were disappointed that there were no filters for the coffee maker. We cut paper towels and made do, but it would be nice if the unit was supplied with some. The cooking utensils were very minimal, they could use an upgrade. In our Oregon house we have a couple of charging stations so you can easily plug in all your phones and devices for charging. The internet was out when we arrived, but it was not the houses fault and VACASA personnel were very responsive.

Nice house in quiet neighborhood
We stayed for our sons wedding in Jekyll island. The house was perfect for our family. The biggest issue is parking but this is stated in listing. There is only room for two cars and the driveway is severely cracked. The house itself is decorated nicely and, while it is clean, it is not very clean. We stayed here twice already and enjoyed our stay both times. It is convenient to shopping and just a short drive to the village. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here

Nice house in quiet neighborhood
We arrived at night so we really couldn't assess the outside. The first thing we noticed was the driveway was severely cracked with some cement slabs elevated. We avoided that side of the driveway. The house itself is in a nice quiet neighborhood and was well maintained. The interior was clean and nicely appointed. All furniture was very comfortable from the beds to the couch sectional. As others have pointed out the carpets are dirty but it's probably because it's pet friendly. I do think some supplies were lean like toilet paper and kitchen garbage bags. Bring extra if you plan on going. The yard is just the right size, not too big and not too small and it's fenced for peace of mind with our dogs. The patio was somewhat dingy and could use a cleaning but seating was very comfortable as well. It was nice to sit out there with a nice cup of coffee. I liked that there was an abundance of games and books. We didn't have little kids with us but there was more than enough items for them. There were seating chairs for small ones, high chairs, baby gates, beach toys, etc. If you needed anything I am sure you would find it. There were also blow up mattresses if necessary. There could be more towels but they do have a washer/dryer just bring your own supplies if you plan on doing some laundry. There was a limited amount of laundry detergent. All and all we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in November.

Beach time!
This house is located close to attractions and the beach. There was plenty of room for all the family, 11 people. We were able to visit attractions during the day and have a comfortable place to cook, stay and spend time together. Tropical storm Elsa moved through while we were there and the rental agency checked on us to ensure that everyone was fine. Good customer service.
