Beautiful & Enjoyable Estate! Hot Tub! Large Home in a Great, Sunny Location!
5,450 sq. ft.; 3 bedrooms; 2 additional sleeping areas, 3.5 bathrooms on 3 acres. This is a superb design with gorgeous, timeless finishing materials. The home is tastefully appointed with elegant, contemporary, warm, comfortable, fun, and versatile décor.
The Primary suite is on the main floor, with an en-suite Primary Bathroom equipped with both a shower and a deep, relaxing bathtub. An additional half-bath is also found on the main floor.
The remaining sleeping areas are upstairs. Two of the bedrooms are equipped with a Queen sized bed each, another sleeping area is equipped with 2 Twin beds, and the remaining sleeping area is equipped with a Queen sized bed plus a single Twin bunk. There are also two full bathrooms on the second floor of the home, ensuring plenty of privacy for the whole group.
The large, open kitchen will provide easy and comfortable meal times while enjoying the vast view of San Juan Valley. The tall windows overlooking the valley gives you a feeling of enjoying your own private resort. Guests can take their pick of multiple cozy areas to relax in. The main living room is equipped with a beautiful fireplace and comfortable furniture. The media room is set up for relaxing and family fun! Curl up and watch a movie together or challenge someone to a game of foosball or table shuffleboard.

Loved this home and especially the outside spaces. Enjoyed mornings and evenings on the back patios while relaxing and enjoying many wildlife sightings. Kids loved the pond and zip line. Perfect getaway.

The house was amazing. Incredible views of the pond/lake in the backyard and the valley beyond. There were so many fun activities to do with the lake (zip line, floating doc, paddle boat, rowboat, paddle board) that the kids always wanted to stay at the house all day. The kitchen was also beautiful and everyone enjoyed lounging in the common area. We’d love to go back someday!

Great property, kitchen is amazing, grounds are amazing, super relaxing and enjoyable. Only issue is we had a 4:00 pm check in and we were met by the cleaners explaining the prior guests didn't check out on time so we weren't allowed to enter the premesis until 4:30. While we were getting ready to check out, the cleaners showed up at 9:30. I guess I would say just respect the time of your guests. Other than that, great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this San Juan Island home. The house is fantastic and the yard is even better! The house very comfortably accommodated our group of 7. There is plenty of space to gather together as well as space to spend a quiet moment alone. The kitchen is well stocked. The game room is super fun. The bedrooms are all comfortable. The yard is so peaceful. Looking across the pond and across the meadow will be a vision I keep in my mind forever.The owner, Steve ,was very helpful and informative when we had questions.We will definitely seek out this home the next time we come to Friday Harbor. Thanks for making our vacation so great.

I would give it a 10 if I could. Great for all of us ages 4 months to 70 years. The home is beautiful and has enough room so we can all be together but not on top of each other. The pond with a zipline, rowboat and paddle boat gave us lots to do when we were not out exploring the beautiful Island. At night we sat around the propane fire table and talked late into the night. The 3 acres and pond attracted geese and deer and we loved the privacy. We used the hot tub morning and night. It is an easy walk to town so no need to worry about parking your car there. The property management company was very responsive and solved all our concerns almost instantly. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay here! The house was HUGE, very clean, super well equipped and the asks for clean up at check out weren’t too burdensome. There were tons of small appliances and kitchen utensils. Beds were comfortable, and the yard was beautiful. We saw deer daily, a bald eagle a few times, and turtles poking their heads out of the pond. Only one of us was brave enough for the zip line, but she had fun!

This was the perfect spot for us to spend an extended weekend for my stepdaughter's wedding. The house is just outside of town so a three-minute drive will find you in the heart of Friday Harbor....but you will also find yourself not wanting to leave the property. Our two families had more than enough space to spread out and the three 8 and 9 year olds were entertained for hours on end with the zipline, game room, and jacuzzi. The views from the expansive back patio are amazing toboot. And a friendly PSA: the photos online actually do not do it justice...the house is even bigger than it appears (you will get lost upstairs I promise you) and that kitchen island is what dreams are made of. ;) The owner was extremely responsive. When I asked him where I could pick up ping pong balls, he was over with a new pack before I had the chance to hit town. It was a little warm the day we arrived but there were fans throughout the house and it never felt uncomfortable. Oh yeah...there are two sets of washers and dryers! That right there will make any mom tear up a little. Haha. Anyhoo...if you're even considering this rental, just go for it. It's spectacular.

Awesome place to stay with a larger group. Kitchen is great for group meals and there's so much to do on the property that 3 nights was hardly enough. 10ish minute walk to Friday Harbour was very convenient.

We booked this location for our small family reunion. The house was so specious and very fun if you have kids. Location is also great. It’s walking distance to downtown Friday harbor and all the restaurants. We would definitely go back. Luckily, we didn’t have to call the management for anything but I am sure if we did, they would have got back to us.

This beautiful property is as shown and is clean! The setting is PERFECT! Obviously a well-loved property. We used pretty much every amenity: zip line (totally awesome), paddle boat (didn't use the row boat), air hockey and corn hole. The jacuzzi was hot and ready to go. The kitchen had all the utensils and pans needed, missing condiments (except salt/pepper) but King's market is close by. Home is close enough for a walk into town. The only issue was the request by the owner to empty trash, start dishwasher and start a load of towels before leaving. We did all of these, but felt this is what the cleaning costs should/would cover. Would love to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Stayed here for a long weekend with two other families. Our kids had a blast playing around the pond and exploring the huge property. The house was so expansive and we felt like each family had enough privacy from each other when needed (naps and such). The home is a quick 5 min drive from Friday harbor and all it has to offer. Dinner places were a bit hit or miss for our large party so having a fully equipped kitchen was a real lifesaver. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a larger space to host multiple families!

Location near Friday Harbor was very convenient. The house is very spacious and the kids loved the game room and swimming in the pond. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and we were able to cook in for several meals. No air conditioning (which is common in the northwest) but we were able to cool off the house with open windows during the evenings and mornings.

Perfect hetaway
This is our second time staying here. We just love the grounds and the pond and the views and the beautiful house and the well-stocked kitchen. What a great place to hang out and play games all day and you are just a few minutes from town.

Let me put it this way, my mother-in-law spent more of our vacation time cleaning POOP from windows, chairs, and decks than we anticipated. We understand that birds can’t be controlled, but we did expect the entrances into the house would be poop free and the back yard that is so prominent in the promotional picture would be useable. The dock, boats, fire pit, zip line, and sitting area, and back yard generally were in horrible condition. The area hadn’t been mowed in quite a while and there was goose poop all over the place. Other birds added their contributions to the decks, chairs, and walkways. The pond was so overgrown with whatever was growing in there that no one wanted to touch the water. The zip line was broken (but because we didn’t want to get in the water, we wouldn’t have used it anyway) and the boats were dirty with plenty of old water sitting in them.The cleaners were still there when we checked in at 4pm because the previous guests had apparently made such a mess of the place, including the hot tub. They worked hard to get the hot tub in working order, and was ready for our use on the second night. They also had someone mowing the front lawn on our 2nd to last day, so maybe we happened to rent the place at an unfortunate time before landscape maintenance could be completed.To end on a high note, we still enjoyed the spacious home with a fun game room and a tremendous view of the valley and distant hills. Everyone had seen pictures of the property, but in person we were "WOWed".
