About this apartment rental
Thank you for inquiring to stay with us in our condo at ** The Summer Sands. We are open Year Round.**
I take your business and leisure time seriously. The Condo is located on the 2nd floor, at the rear of the building, ocean front, off of a large common area terrace. The beach is directly in front of our unit. The only thing separating you from the ocean is the sand! Wildwood Crest Beach offers handicapped and/or senior citizens transportation services. An elevator is located in the middle of the building, and luggage carts are available if needed. We do welcome you to use the terrace, where you will find chaise lounges, tables and umbrellas (Seasonal- May till September 1ST) that become a fine extension of your living area, whether it’s a cup of coffee in the morning, a midday lunch and break from the beach, or just time to relax and read a book. Thank you for not smoking in the condo. Should you smoke, please step out to the common area. Parking is located off street on ground level, where you will find one spot along the building designated 224. Please check in at the office in the front of the building on Atlantic Ave to pick up your parking pass and sign waivers to use the swimming pools. Additional free parking can be found on the streets just one block away. During your stay, you have access to the two fresh water swimming pools (Seasonal- May till early October ), 6 natural gas barbecue grills located in the front(Seasonal- May till Early October ) , and the coin operated washers and dryers. Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 10am.
Items you should bring include regular bed linens, and bath and beach/pool towels. In the Bedroom there is one queen size bed, a pyramid bunk with a full size bottom and a full size bed above. A privacy curtain separates the bed and bunks if desired. The living room contains a twin size sleeper. Extra Blankets and pillows are located in the bedroom closet. An Owner’s Manual binder is located in the living room and contains more information about the condo.
You could have Linens and Towel service available for an additional cost. (Seasonal- May till September 1st)
EXTRA *COVID* steps I am taking . I hired a Cleaning Service that uses a hospital/business disinfect Cleaner.. each Bed has a disposable bed mat cover. Also, Disposable pillow cases. Your stay should be worry free.
Lockbox code is provided to gain entry. After using key contained with lockbox to open door, you will find two keys hanging on the inside right of door. Please return lockbox key and use these keys for entry/exit. Upon final exit, please re-hang keys, and use lockbox key for final lock-up. To replace lockbox key, use must re-enter code.
Check-in is 3pm, Check-out is 10am. Sorry, but these times are not negotiable.
Free high speed internet is also provided, individual to this condo!.
Also, May until October 1st, enjoy a walk to the Ocean Front Bar and Restaurant called Bungalow No 1 Beach Bar, located just 10 short blocks south of our condo. Fire Pits on the beach, comfortable seating, Live Music, and Drinks/food. Located at East Rochester Ave in Diamond Beach, on the Beach! A 6 minute walk on the Beach from our condo.

I love my young grandkids but sometimes it's nice to take a short break and relax. This is the perfect place to spoil yourself for the grandkids. All the comforts and cleanliness you can desire are there with an added bonus of a spectacular view, updated, quality condo and great host. If I am lucky, I will be back often.

Lovely view. Great location…The condo was very nice and the owner made it feel inviting. The deck with umbrellas was a plus. All the people we met were pleasant and helpful. Everything was clean and well kept. I would return again.

Mary was wonderful to work with! The whole time she was responsive, caring and knowledgeable. Everything was thought of and I felt at home with my children. I hope to definitely come back and stay longer. The area is wonderful as well.

My husband and I enjoyed our getaway weekend tremendously! The location was excellent- steps from the beach! A quick car ride or Uber to Wildwood proper for restaurants or entertainment/boardwalk. We look forward to returning!

We had the perfect view of the beach- no cars, no roads, just dunes, sand, and water! We could easily go back to the room for a quick break or to grab something. Terrific and timely communication from the owner. Highly recommend for a couple or small family! We’ll be back!

This is our fourth year staying in Wildwood and this place was our favorite by far. You can't beat opening your door and having the amazing view of the beach. Even though our deck was shared, because it's an end unit we felt like it was our own private patio. I loved having my morning coffee and evening wine out there. My son especially loved the bunk beds and comfy couch. There was also a patch of sand immediately beyond the property where we played frisbee (if we didn't feel like passing the sand dunes to the beach proper).
My only critique is that there was a lot of stuff crammed into a small space. Then when you bring in your own luggage and stuff it can be a lot. But it didn't detract from our enjoyment of the space.
I have one suggestion for the owner. She sent a lot of helpful information about the property and area (e.g., restaurants, things to do). In addition to receiving that information electronically, it would have been nice to have hard copies in a binder at the property that we could page through. Sometimes it's inconvenient to access information on your phone.
Thanks again for a great stay! We hope to book this property again in the future!

Clean property with amazing view of the ocean. Easy beach access and filled with extra little things like coffee pods, soaps and blankets. Easy to follow directions and very quick and responsive host. Had a great couple days with my two young sons (3 and 4) and parents.

Mary thought about every detail a vacationer would need for a comfortable stay ! The condo was well stocked and clean. AC was perfect and the view could not be beat! The property as a whole is well tended to. Staff sweeping, caring for the table umbrellas and trash cans. Guests were quiet during the asked quiet time during the night.
Easy parking, great owner communication. Many little touches making the stay special to the guests. We cannot wait to return.

A cozy apartment with a beautiful view. We were treated to lovely sunrises on our deck which is part of the reason we selected the location. Our host was very helpful before and during our stay. She has kept this unit in perfect guest welcoming shape with many little extras. We cook most dinners in so were glad for nice utensils, kitchenware and even small bins of things you may have forgotten. The beds pretty much fill the bedroom, but you really only sleep there and we just had two people so were fine.

Rented this lovely condo on the beach as a last minute get away. While the place is small, it didn't feel that way. Nicely decorated and comfortable, my wife and I really enjoyed our overnight stay. Lots of amenities to make it a great vacation.
Owner was easy to communicate with and was very accommodating and friendly.
This would be a great for a romantic getaway or for a small family vacation, right on the beach.

I wish I knew before hand all of the items that were at the condo because I wouldn’t have packed all my stuff , it got a little crowded , if you are coming here for vacation .. you really don’t need anything , she even has extra shoes in different sizes if you need , a cooler was also there and many games to play , beach chairs , beach umbrella , beach toys , even items like shampoo , a draw full of stuff .. you really need nothing . It was a nice stay

I cannot even begin to describe the lengths the owner has gone to to make this stay easy and comfortable. The condo has absolutely everything you could ever need and then some! The location is perfect and we enjoyed coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean every morning. Everything was immaculate, including the property and it was such an easy stay. We will absolutely be back- one of my best VRBO experiences! Thank you so much for the amazing getaway!

This is a great property with a beautiful view of the ocean. We stayed near the end of the off-season and it was pretty quiet and relaxing. The condo is exactly as described. I appreciated the labels on all the cabinets and drawers! Mary was very accommodating and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend this condo for a couple or small family.
