About this house rental

Our home was designed and built specifically for groups. The wide open floor-plan allows everyone to be together and socialize. Relax on the sofa, play pool, or enjoy the view with your favorite beverage! The location is very private, right outside the golf course entrance gate, but only 2 miles from shops and restaurants. Amenities include 4 Master Suites (8 queen beds), 4.5 Baths, HUGE "Great Room", Pool Table, 5 HDTV's and Concierge Services. The views from our screened porch are spectacular! Our 2 Oster Golf Houses are side by side with a putting green between them, and have a total of 16 queen beds. The Nicklaus pricing is based on 8 guests, but we allow up to 12. Each additional guest is $125 plus tax, per night. (Note: the fireplace is inoperable)

Couldn’t have asked for a better home to enjoy time with family in the area for a family wedding. The views are exceptional. The screened porch was so relaxing. We squeezed in some fabulous golf in between wedding and family activities. Memorable get away for our family!

We have a group of golfers that travel to different locations, twice a year. This year we chose RTJ Prattville. Probably the best accommodations we have had in 20 years (except Pebble Beach). Perfect location to the RTJ Capitol Hill courses. Driveway borders entrance gate to Capitol Hill. Three very different, unique and challenging courses. Everyone very pleased.

Our group of 8 guys enjoyed our stay. The pandemic sweeping the country was a major distraction that caused us to cut our trip by a day to get home to family. This is the place to stay. Owner Rick responded quickly to all messages.

We had seven guys on a corporate outing. The rooms were even larger and nicer than I expected. The bedrooms were roomy with comfortable queen sized beds. The bathrooms were especially nice and clean. The upstairs area was a hit with the guys -- comfortable overstuffed furniture, bar, pool table, large flat screen, what's not to like? We will definitely stay again. Maybe next time we'll bring a couple putters as there is a nice little putting green next to the house.

We were in town for my daughters graduation and this was the perfect home for our occasion. We were comfortable and did I mention this was a place to remember. Our group at nothing but high praise for the accommodations of the 2 houses that sit right next to each other right on the Capitol Hill golf courses. We have booked many golf trips in the past and this by far were the best accommodations we have ever had. The houses are setup and designed for golfers with 4 virtually identical Master suites in each house. The owner, Rick, was very gracious and communicated in a timely fashion throughout the entire process. We will definitely be back and highly recommend staying at these 2 houses.

Our Cheer Group had a wonderful stay at Rock Oster Golf Home. He made our experience great and most of all memorable. The home is very clean and the rooms are nice size with very comfortable beds. It home is private and convenient to shops, eateries and grocery stores. We had a great time and I will definitely book my stay here again!!!

Just returned from our stay in Prattville with eight guys and we couldn't have been more impressed with this house. It's the perfect layout for a guys golf trip: four bedrooms with large modern bathrooms, huge open common area upstairs with a nice screened back deck. Lots of small details made it even better: separate refrigerator for beer, bluetooth speakers, TV's (with DirecTV) everywhere, poker chips, and a huge kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, etc. I don't think a day went by when someone in our group asked me, "How did you find this house again??" It is now permanently in our golf trip rotation!

If you are golfing at Capitol Hill this is the place to stay. The houses are both amazing, in great shape, so convenient to the golf course and perfect for large groups. We had 14 and the comment among all of them was that this was one of the best places we've ever stayed in on our annual trip.

As all can imagine, when you're dealing with family, you can NEVER please all but this house met everyone's expectations. Rick was super nice to deal with and always answered my questions when I reach out!!! I will definitely consider his homes an option to rent. Side note-We were at this home Thanksgiving 2016 and it was unseasonalbly warm. The stink bugs(beetles), wasp and lady bugs made it unbearable to hang out on deck. Outside of this, Great Home!!!
