Tucked just steps away from the docks and the hustle and bustle of the harbour, you can watch the sunrise from this ocean front space as the light of dawn stretches across Discovery Passage. Liven your senses with the freshness of the mornings ocean fresh air in the waking light. Perched on the deck, you can sip a cup of your favorite warm indulgence and watch as the harbour comes alive.
Once settled in the suite, you can leave your car as everything is in close proximity. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance and if cooking a fresh seafood feast is on your list, you can visit Crabby Bob's only steps away on the docks. If angling for your dinner is more your game, you can drop a line off the fishing pier, just 200 steps from the suite.
Every Sunday, the bounty from land can be purchased from local growers right across the street in the farmers Market.

We (family of four) wholeheartedly enjoyed an extended stay (20 days) at Wayne’s wonderful top-story accommodation overlooking scenic Discovery Passage, Quadra Island, and the Coast Mountain Range. You could not ask for a more engaging vista, with marina activity in the foreground and snow-capped peaks in the background, all of these wonderful layers visible from the kitchen, living room, and spacious deck of these classy digs. The Alaska cruise ships that navigate these waterways on summer evenings are sight to be seen, not to mention that we were lucky enough to have box seats for the Canada Day fireworks (biggest display in BC!) which unfurled right in front of our position! The two bedroom set-up suited us perfectly, with our pre-teen kids sharing the smaller but ample room kitted with awesome bunk beds, while the large and luxurious master bedroom, including king-size bed, was much appreciated by the parents! Nearby some of Campbell River’s great establishments such as the fishing pier (serving ice cream!) Session taproom and resto, Dick’s fish & chips, and the mini aquarium (amazing for kids), this is the prime home base from which to enjoy the best the region has to offer. Staying almost three weeks, you have the time to ponder what might be lacking in your accommodation, but Wayne’s ‘penthouse’ is well-equipped and he is always on-hand to respond to any queries. Can’t imagine how our experience could have been any better!

We had a wonderful stay at Wayne’s harbour view property. The entire place was super clean, comfortable and very well stocked. Fresh flowers and coffee were also nice extras. The harbour view from the deck was spectacular and location was great for walking to restaurants and shopping.

We were looking forward to this stay, and were thinking that the virw over the harbor would be interesting. It was everything we hoped and more.
The deck was great, and wonderful weather allowed us to enjoy it more. We were able to see a decent amount of interesting boat traffic going by including cruise ships and tugs, and even got to spot a bear briefly from the property.
The owner was very courteous and generous, and we very much loved the location.

We could see our fishing boat in the marina directly across the street. 1 minute walk away. Five day stay close to shopping, restaurants and our Family. Would definitely stay again.

Located across from one of the several marinas in Campbell River. Within an easy walk to the central area with several cute local shops, and restaurants. Very large, roomy space with great views of the water and all of the boating activity. Loved seeing the cruise ships every evening, all lit up, looked like floating wedding cakes! Enjoyed exploring the vicinity, i.e. Quadra Island, a few of the provincial parks that were nearby. Overall, our stay was most enjoyable. The manager, Wayne, was very responsive to our requests.

Very impressed with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the property. The kitchen is well appointed and the linens are lovely. It has a million dollar view.

This is a great property in a fantastic location.
Wayne made sure to check on our arrival time and supply the code to the door and instructions how to open etc. There was creamer and coffee as well as ice ready as we arrived, we arrived late, so this was great to have in the morning.
The view is stunning and the fact that it was on the Island Highway was not a bother at all.
There are binoculars and a telescope for guest’s use.
The kitchen is well equipped and lots of pantry items available.
We all slept well. The linen was high quality and the mattresses absolutely exceptional.
The only suggestions I would have is maybe some screens in front of the windows and a small bedside table and lamp in the room with the bunk bed.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Wayne was easy to reach if needed and this place was so clean and well equipped, I cannot wait to visit again.

This was such a wonderful find during a two week vacation on Vancouver Island. Wayne could not have been kinder or provided more amenities and comfort in this lovely flat. The king bed is so comfortable, the kitchen very well quipped, and the views from the deck mesmerizing. It is a great base to explore the area and to come "home" to relax, prepare a meal, and enjoy that view. Parking is easy and right at the door. It is fun to walk along the shoreline. Crabby Bob's just over the road offers an array of very fresh seafood and well as smoked.

Was a great place to stay

We were in Campbell River for a wedding and wanted a place that was central. This certainly met that need. We shared the suite with our adult son and his girlfriend. They stayed in the second bedroom with the bunkbeds which they found comfortable. A table lamp would be a nice addition to this room as the ceiling light is the only light (that's just me). The primary bedroom is large and has a king bed with the most comfortable foam (I think) mattress that I would have gladly slept on forever! Lots of drawer and closet space. The kitchen is well stocked and there were a few welcome items when we arrived like Creamo and a pound of coffee which we enjoyed. The deck is very spacious with 4 comfy Adirondack chairs and is a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy the scenery anytime or the sunrise if you are an early riser. The living room has a large ceiling fan to keep things cool. However, we could have done with a tower fan in each room as the weather was hot (high 20's) when we were there and both bedrooms got quite warm throughout the day even with the windows open. The suite was very clean so no issues there. Wayne is very easygoing and attentive and answered our queries or requests immediately. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for views and local attractions.
All of our expectations for our short stay in Campbell River were exceeded. Wayne is an exceptional host - very responsive and welcoming right down to the fresh flowers on the coffee table and ensuring we had access to an extra parking space for a visitor.

Fabulous location
We really enjoyed our stay - amazing location across from the marina and a short stroll to restaurants and shops. We saw orcas swimming in the bay in front, cruise liners passing and the Canada Day fireworks! The apartment is modern, clean, comfy beds and well stocked. Thank you Wayne!

We completely enjoyed our stay in Campbell River. Wayne’s place is super clean, comfortable and airy. We were two adults staying using the two bedrooms. One bedroom has a bunk bed set up so a small family can be very comfortable here. We really enjoyed the deck and watching the cruise ships slide by at night. Walking distance to restaurants, and the ferry terminal and whale watching outfitters on the same waterfront street, too! This rental doesn’t have a usual notebook filled with information about the rental and the area, but Wayne was happy to answer all our questions, he was very friendly and available. Great stay!

Amazing b&b! Close to everything and the view is fantastic! The accommodations are very roomy with everything you need including washer/dryer, bbq, full kitchen and wifi. Wayne had a fresh bag of local coffee and cream in the fridge waiting for us.,

Very clean, comfortable 2 bedroom condo with a great deck overlooking the marina in Campbell River. There was a great gas fireplace to keep you warm on a rainy day. There was a minor problem with the door lock which was hard to open and close.

I stayed with my husband and grown daughter 2 nights at this sweet apartment in October 2021. Owner was easy to contact and responsive to our questions. It was a cold day, so arriving to a warm apartment with its lovely propane fireplace was awesome. There are many great restaurants within walking distance and a lovely long boardwalk along the seashore. we even saw seals on the docks!

The views from this condo are amazing. There was always something to see - from the marina at night to cruise ships, ferries, eagles and herons in Discovery Passage during the day. The host was super accessible and had great extra touches to help us feel at home (fresh flowers, locally roasted coffee, and cream in the fridge). Mattresses and linens were exceptionally comfortable. The bar stools were comfortable and the coffee table is large enough - we just have creaky knees and bad backs - so we missed a dining table to gather around for meals and board games. The whole unit was spotlessly clean. The deck is huge and we imagined how great it would be for people watching and BBQ’s in the summer. The fireplace was a cozy touch on a stormy day. Should the host ever decide to renovate, we recommend converting the 2 piece w/c and laundry to add a second shower as the primary bath has the only bathing options. The primary bedroom is HUGE! Street noise was not an issue for us even though the unit is above the Inland Highway. We didn’t hear noise from adjacent units, except as expected when out on the deck. (The condo is a one minute walk to the popular Dick’s Fish ‘n Chips - where they had gluten free options! So yummy.) We would certainly book again with this host. Highly recommended.
