About this house rental
2 Bedroom & Loft & 2.25 Bath, Pet Friendly Townhome located in town and near to the Sierra Star Golf Course.
REMODELED: kitchen and bathrooms were completely remodeled. Granite counters, cherry cabinets, and new appliances in the kitchen. New vanities, tile floors, tiles in the showers, lighting, toilets, etc. We also redid the front hallway and the laundry closet and put in a new combination washer/dryer in the laundry. And we just installed a new pellet stove that is very easy to use (just add pellets and set the temperature).
SLEEPING: Sleeps up to 8. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, the loft has a bunk bed and 2 twin beds.
LIVING AREA: This unit has mountain views from the livingroom and 1500 sq. ft. of living space. The living room has a sofa, love seat, and recliner. The dining room has a large table with seating for 8 people.
INTERNET: High-speed internet (300 mbps).
This a whole house network that works in any room.
ENTERTAINMENT: In the living room, there is a 40in flat panel LCD TV, blu-ray player, surround sound, and free streaming movies. In the loft, we also have a 32in flat panel LCD TV, Microsoft Xbox, Xbox games, streaming movies, and comfortable chairs. There are TVs with cable in the other bedrooms, as well as both wireless & wired internet connection.
LAYOUT: This is a three-level townhouse with the entrance on the first floor. The first floor has both bedrooms (1 king & 1 queen) and one full bath, the second floor has the living room, kitchen, dining room and 2nd full bath, and the third floor is the loft (with a bunk bed and 2 single beds), which is open in to the living room by a half wall.
KITCHEN: The unit has a well-equipped kitchen with a nice layout. We love to cook and keep everything you need for making great meals. There is a new convection range, large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker.
DECK: There is a nice deck off the livingroom with a gas BBQ (available in spring, summer, and fall) and a teak table and 4 chairs. It is a great place to hang out in the summer.
PARKING: There is plenty of on site parking right outside the unit.
SWIMMING: The complex has a hot tub, swimming pool, and a sauna. The pool is heated from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
LAUNDRY: There is a small combination washer/dryer in the unit as well as a full laundry room in the condo complex.
PETS: We allow dogs (sorry, no cats due to allergies) for a small additional pet fee. Please let us know in advance if you want to bring your dog.
CLEANING: The townhouse is professionally cleaned after every stay. We have the cleaning company do a deep cleaning every fall where the place is cleaned from top to bottom, all of the furniture is moved and vacuumed underneath, the hard to reach places are dusted, the windowed are washed, the dishes in the cabinets are moved and cleaned, and all of the comforters and blankets are taken to the dry cleaners. We also get the carpets steam cleaned every fall and spring.
SAFETY: There are four smoke detectors in the condo, including one in each sleeping area, and the batteries are replaced every year. There are CO2 detectors on every floor and a fire extinguisher to the right of the fridge in the kitchen. You can exit the condo from the front door, the 2nd floor deck, or using the metal escape ladder in the loft.
LEGAL: This is a completely legal rental unit. It is within the areas of Mammoth Lakes that permits short term rentals. We use only licensed contractors for all repair work. And we collect and pay all required taxes, which supports the services in Mammoth Lakes.

Great place, with upgrades makes it very nice. Grill was great. Beds were perfect. Really nothing to complain about! New fridge. Washer does vibrate a bit though…suggest a platform or something to isolate from the floor, but that’s pretty minor. Liked the stay, would definitely use it again!

The condo is walking to the market and to the local trolly stop. The condo has everything you will need to cook meals if you choose to do so and place to store your snacks. The beds are and the living space is comfortable.

Great location and access
Great unit that is a little older complex but the unit has been upgraded top to bottom. Was easy to find and we were able to park right in front of unit. The few issues we did have were the down stairs hallway heater sounded like a piece of sheet metal in bicycle spokes when it turned on and the combo washer/dryer is a single unit that takes 2.5 to 3.5hrs to do a small load of laundry and during spin mode shakes the adjoins rooms. Kitchen was very well appointed and everything is labeled and easy to find. Note the only recycling in Woodlands is items that have CRV no co-mingled you have to put each can or bottle into a small opening in only one collection site near managers office, otherwise normal trash was easy to deal with. Showers/bathrooms were nice well appointed and plenty of hot water. Overall we would definitely stay again and appreciate the communication with homeowner. Great rental.

Perfect
We had a great time at Craig's place. Check in was easy. The property was close to shuttle, market and Gojira. Our teens loved the Xbox and we loved the extra TV/living area. Even loved the 88.5FM coffee mug. Cooking pans need an upgrade, but will definitely stay again.

Perfect Spot for Last Minute Getaway
We were looking for a condo for our family and two of our college daughter’s friends for a quick spring break ski trip. Woodlands #37 fit our needs perfectly in terms of space, number of beds, price and convenience. The whole process was so easy and effortless, from booking, to check in, to check out. The bedrooms on the first floor were nicely sized, and the first floor bathroom, accessible from the hallway and the master bedroom, was convenient and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The second floor kitchen, dining area and living room were roomy and very comfortable. We loved the square table that could easily seat eight comfortably, and was great for playing cards and other games after dinner. The loft with two twins and a twin bunk bed was perfect for our daughter and her friends, who enjoyed the video games and a cozy, private area of their own. The condo is conveniently located, literally down the street from The Stove and Vons, and a 5 minute drive to Eagle Lodge. We will definitely be back!

A perfect place for a family vacation in Mammoth!
5 Stars! Our first trip to Mammoth (and our first stay at a VRBO property) was fantastic! The townhome was extremely clean and had plenty of space for our family. It was clear that Craig, the owner, takes great care in making sure the place is ready for his guests. He was very responsive and ensured that we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
The location is very close to everything we needed, the market, ski rentals, great restaurants, and of course Mammoth Mountain!
The bedrooms and loft area were spacious with very comfortable beds. Bathrooms were very nice with convenient heaters. The family room had comfy couches and a recliner close to the fireplace, and the kitchen had everything to prepare family meals. Again, everything was very clean and maintained with care.
We look forward to staying here again!

I've rented 30 plus units over the years in Mammoth and this is the first unit that I would totally rent again!!

Best experience
Originally, our family planned a trip for lake Tahoe. Unfortunately, due to natural disasters we were forced to choose a different location to vacation. It was a VERY last minute decision, but our family as a whole agrees it was the best decision we could have made. The entire experience was a 5/5. Our cabin was beautiful and held all of the basic necessities and even more. The only request we would give is to provide a bit more toilet paper for future guests. It was difficult to get in contact with someone who could bring us more and we just ended up buying some. But besides that everything was amazing this were the best experience, thank you so much

Relaxing Stay
Spent a week at this lovely condo in Mammoth (4 adults and a baby). Check in and out was simple and all the necessities were provided. The location was wonderful with easy access to town as well as all of the nearby fishing and hiking spots. We had a great stay. Owner was very responsive when we had questions.

This is a beautiful property and the perfect spot for a cozy weekend getaway at Mammoth. The check in was easy, the unit was clean and spacious and the surrounding area was very peaceful. The location is very ideal as well as it’s only a short drive to the mountain. Will hopefully return soon!

Great location. Red line bus very easily accessed. Everything in the house was adequate. My kids enjoyed the loft. Sad that the jacuzzi was closed d/t Covid regulations but understandable. Communication with the owner was always prompt. I would choose this condo again

We were so excited for our first mammoth trip in several years and were delighted with this beautiful mammoth home. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The location was perfect. Great location and well kept condo
I have been staying in Woodlands #37 for a few years now. It is located near Vons and several eating establishments. The owners just remodeled and it is always very clean and well kept. The owner and management are very quick to take care of any problems that may arise There is always parking right in front of the condo. If you have small children it is within walking distance of a nice field for sledding and snow play.

Had a great time
Very nice condo in the Woodlands complex with remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. Dogs are allowed (units which are harder to find). The owner was very responsive and let us move our arrival date forward 4 weeks to avoid smoke from the Creek fire. Unfortunately, the fire was still going and it was smoky most of the time. The sauna and Jacuzzi were closed due to COVID-19. We would definitely stay there again.
