ロケーション最高!Staff素敵!部屋の清潔さと騒音が微妙!

Staffの対応が素敵で心地良い!

部屋のドアや壁が薄くて外、廊下の騒音が気になる。夜になると1Fの騒ぎ声が3Fまで届きうるさすぎて眠れない。ゆんたくしたり色んな人と集えるのはとっても素敵だと思うけれど、各階入り口にドアを設置するなど防音対策があれば良いと思う。ツインroomカーテンのカビ、Laundryの乾燥機フィルターお掃除した方が良いと思います!Staffの方達がほんとに素敵だったので勿体無いと思いました :’(

Surpirnsgly disappointing, but with huge potential!

It’s a very cozy area, and beach close to take a swim. A lot of things to do in the hostel Staff was very nice

Unfortunately the minor things was annoying, and ended up being a big thing for a 3 day stay. 1. The towels provided in the room are unbearably bad, it’s a blanket you have to dry yourself with, and a tiny one. 2. The bed sheets are made of a horrible fabric which feels uncomfortable to lay in. 3. The bikes which you can rent are almost unrideable. 4. Even tho the staff is very nice, there is NEVER anyone in the reception. A paper says you can call them, but we are tourists and don’t have that option since we don’t have a SIM card. 5. The room has no curtains, only some which are transparent and all the sunlight comes through. So be prepared to wake up every morning at 7 o’clock.

The hostel is in a brilliant and unique location. It has excellent entertainmemt facilities and has a thoughtful aesthetic.

There was no one at reception on arrival and no ac turned on. It was june so super humid. The music in common spaces could be more considered.

Cute shabby chic hostel ( ◠‿◠ )

Loved the shabby chic environment, decoration and how it was set up. The welcoming host was great. Beds were super comfortable. We got a family room for 2 people with a private shower room and really enjoyed the space and balcony. I would definitely stay again or recommend for friends to stay if they are in the area. The beach was an easy walk and nice for watching the sunset.

Over all our room was clean and bedding very nice but it could have used a little more detail cleaning in the seating area and coffee table. The shared fridge could use a good cleaning as well. But over all the place is clean and nice.

Delightful owners do a great job of keeping the place running smoothly.

Great place to stay in the off season. Pool table, table tennis, communal kitchen all great as long as there's not too much competition...see below.

Well, it's a hostel with potential to accommodate very large numbers of budget travellers so the kitchen facilities can become overcrowded, overused and less clean than desirable. Also the noise can get pretty loud what with youngsters arriving late and clambering up the concrete stairs very late at night. Definitely the party atmosphere which may not be to your taste.

Exceptional

Very cool interior, big shared space with billiards and climbing wall etc, the whole atmosphere of the place is amazing. The staff was very friendly too. The beach was not that crowded thanks to a rather remote location. There is a lot of hiking routes in the mountains around, so you can experience the Okinawian nature to the fullest! Highly recommend!

Rooms have very thin curtains which let in a lot of light overnight and limit the amount of privacy when the bedroom lights are on

Probably the best value near longevity Ogimi village if you are without a car.

Location near the only yanbaru bus line Friendly staff although not much English

Exceptional

Free live concert during New Year's (amazing artists), kind staff and superb facilities. The atmosphere was amazing, other guests were very nice as well. Will definitely come back next time.

Superb

Great for its price! Lots of fun things to do in the lobby area, staff is fun and easy to communicate with, and everything seemed well kept and clean.

Definitley be careful with the ladders in the rooms, they aren't attached and can be tricky to use a lot of the time. Also, it was pretty windy when I went up and the building definitely did not do any job at suppressing that noise. A touch spooky, but nothing to be worried about.

Beautiful hostel, friendly staff and comfortable beds!

So beautiful! we had a very comfortable private room and bath. the beds were soft. the staff was so friendly.

Please consider black out curtains. the street lights shine in the room at night.

Nice concept, overpriced rooms

Hipster hostel with a common kitchen, pool table, bar, etc. The concept is cool.

It was pricey for a private room. The bar’s craft beers are priced at 1500 yen (come on!).

Hipster‘s paradise

Very comfortable beds. Clean and spacious rooms. Very stylish! Shared kitchen was sufficient equipped.

Staff was not really available. No blinders in the room. The ac in the shared kitchen was not running and therefore it was too hot to spare your time there. There should have been a bar and cafe but due to missing staff there was no offering… The roof terrace was more or less empty and therefore it wasn’t possible to enjoy the starry sky. Table tennis, billard and boulder facilities were not in there best state.

Yanbaru Hostel: an unexpected surprise!

The staff was simply amazing! The interior design of the entire building, something unexpected and superb! Our stay was simply fantastic!

I would improve the cleaning, especially in the shared bathrooms.

The atmosphere is very nice. We enjoyed ping pong.

Interesting look for one of the rare option in the area.

Big beds (in the private room) and interesting interior design, pretty minimalistic but original. Nice lobby.

Not so many restaurants around and overall pretty far from many things BUT I guess that it's normal in this part of the island. Little bit noisy (bad isolation probably due to the age of the building (even if renovated)). No washlet in the private room (normal toilets). Shared kitchen was pretty big but not super clean (this one is on the people using it, not necessarily the hostel 😅)
