I felt "safe" in this area of town and enjoyed watching the walkers and bicyclists going by on the sidewalk out front. The area had a well maintained feel/look about it. People obviously take pride in their homes/cottages.

This is a great place to stay that is walking distance to Main Street.

Wonderful, clean and well appointed home. We were central to all of our hiking and exploring and the house is in a cute neighborhood which is quiet and close to downtown. We could have walked but it was so easy to park downtown that we drove there.
Prompt and easy communications with the owner and directions were easy. We would definitely stay there again when we return.

We stayed for 2 weeks and the house was perfect; clean, comfortable, fully stocked/amenities, great location, great host.

The location was excellent as it was walkable to the downtown and an easy drive to Asheville or the mountains . The area is quaint ,tree lined and safe. The house had some stains on the carpets and The furniture was soft, likely due to having many guests over the years. Nonetheless, it was a very convenient place to stay at.Host was very easy to reach and helpful

Spent a week at Maple Glen Cottage in a quiet walkable neighborhood with tree-lined streets. We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint clean comfortable cottage. When not exploring the area, we sat & read on the screened back porch. From the rocking chairs we admired all the birds especially the cardinals that frequented the small back yard. The host was cordial responding to any questions while giving us our privacy. If ever in the area I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Rented this for visiting sister and her husband. Wanted to avoid hotels and give them more of a local experience. I found the host attentive and easy to reach.

My husband and I spent two weeks here working and enjoying Hendersonville and surrounds. The cottage was very comfortable and a short walk (less than 15 minutes) to downtown. The neighborhood was quiet. Because both of us were working on Teams, we put a lot of stress on the Internet connection. The ISP was making some improvements to the network, and it blinked out a couple of times. Both times, the host was quick to respond with updates, and we were up and running again quickly. We loved Hendersonville and the cottage and would stay there again.

This older cottage is very comfortable. I liked walking the 6 or so blocks to the downtown area - a charming place. Lots of nicely kept/restored older homes to see along the way.
We were too busy at a nearby camp to spend much more than sleep time in the house. It's cooling was limited but fortunately the outside temperatures weren't very hot. Hosts were very good to work with.

Unique cottage getaway and so close to the quaint downtown. Enjoyed all our meals out locally. Friendly neighborhood. Bobby had all the amenities nicely stocked. No need to bring all the “extras” usually needed for a rental. Truly enjoyed our visit.

Just got back from staying in this house in Hendersonville with a couple of girlfriends. We loved being able to walk through this wonderful neighborhood to downtown Hendersonville to enjoy the restaurants and shops. It was only a short drive to Dupont State Forest, so we also loved hiking to several fantastic waterfalls and being so close to the mountains.

Amazing property and town. There are so many great food and drink places in walking distance. There are also amazing hikes all around the home. We loved the space and enjoyed both porches!

Maple Glen Cottage is as charming as it looks. The house was quaint and so was the neighborhood.

The Owner Bobby could not have been anymore accommodating. We showed up early and he made it work.

Our stay was great. Place was really clean. Lots of toiletries and nice plush towels. Little things that make a stay even nicer. Beds very comfortable. The location is perfect if you like walking right to downtown Hendersonville and just walking a nice neighborhood. Also good central location for other activities like hiking…

The neighborhood was very pleasant which brought up the rating because the house was not prepared to be rented. First 3 days we cleaned, carpet very dirty and windows had to be done inside and out. A stay of 5 months is different than a week. Also had to do numerous repairs because we were so insulted by condition of house that I wouldn't speak to owner.

The Maple Glen Cottage was in a great location - close to town but a little bit off the beaten path. We walked to Main Street for breakfast and dinner several times. The Cottage was clean and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Bobby responded quickly to all of my emails. I would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our time visiting the area. The neighborhood was very quiet which was what we needed after long days of exploring Hendersonville and surrounding areas. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed, but we did feel it could use some updating throughout. It served our purposes though and the communication was great throughout the process!

Great weekend up in Hendersonville. Our son especially liked the office area downstairs, as his professors loaded him up with homework for the weekend.

We had a great experience at Bobby’s property, and he was one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. Very communicative and helpful for whatever we requested! The house is in a lovely neighborhood and less than a mile from downtown! Also had a great office area downstairs with large desk and good wifi.

The property owner was extremely responsive. Everything was in working order in the cottage, it was clean and it had a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable, and it was peaceful and quiet. It was great to have access to a washer and dryer in the cottage. Coukdnt ask for more!

Exceptional!! Cottage is so well kept and everything needed. My car battery quit, so I brought the new battery back, and thanks to Dr. Bobby having a tool box available, I was able to replace the battery.

The Maple Glen cottage is very cozy and comfortable- slept well on the beds and had everything we needed. It’s in perfect location - only a few blocks from downtown! Bobby is a wonderful host and we would not hesitate to stay there again. Kathy S./Jacksonville, FL

Maple Glen was perfect. It was exactly as presented online. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly and easy to navigate. The cottage was so comfortable and a bit nostalgic of the home I lived in and homes I visited as a child. I appreciated your thoughtfulness in providing ample basic supplies for a four-night visit and even the "emergency" items provided (though I did not need those!) The Hendersonville area does not lack in interesting and outdoor activities. And the weather was perfect for that. I had a delightful visit as did my sister who met me from Jacksonville, FL.
