About this apartment rental
This spacious 3-room apartment is located directly on Historic Hendersonville's pedestrian friendly Main Street, with all of its attractions and amenities just outside the door. Guests love their option of parking their car in our off-street lot on the day they arrive and choosing not to touch it again until the day they leave because there's so much to keep them happy just steps from their door. The loft is a mixture of modern amenities and small town craftsmanship. This property has attracted more than 200 5-star reviews from previous guests, who love the convenience, the bed, the seclusion, and our good old southern hospitality.
Our 102-year-old building was one of the first of its kind to be constructed on Main Street in 1913. Its brick facade and distinguished arched windows rise above South Main Street and fall in the shadow of Hendersonville's original golden-domed 1905 courthouse.
The three-room apartment features heart pine flooring throughout, and each room has a bank of large windows on the western wall that showcases the setting sun. The master bedroom (with ensuite bath) has a king-sized Disney bed with a plush SpringAir mattress, 100% cotton sheets and cozy bedding, a dressing area and cable television with Roku streaming. The dining/living area features a rectangular table that comfortably seats four people and an informal sitting area. It is stocked with an electric stove along with most dishes and cookware to enjoy meals as well as a microwave, refrigerator, French press/coffee grinder, electric water kettle with temperature controls and toaster. The third room may be used as a second bedroom, with a pull-out, queen- sized sofa bed, outfitted with cotton sheets. For adults who need more mattress support, a queen sized SoundSleep/Dream Series Air Mattress with Comfort Coil Technology and Internal High Capacity Pump, with height of 19 inches, is available upon request. All bedding is provided for the queen bed. This room is also designed for use as a living room/office with a couch, side chair, and cable television/DVD player. The bathroom is adjacent to the master bedroom and features a walk-in shower. Central air-conditioning and heat provide comfort no matter what the season. Off-street parking is provided.
Restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries (don't miss 7th Avenue's Underground Bakery about 8 blocks away), breweries, pubs, specialty shops, ice cream and yogurt parlors, jewelry stores, arts and crafts galleries, museums and entertainment are located right outside our door. Many of the area restaurants and pubs have live weekend entertainment.
Both Asheville and Brevard are no more than a 30-minute drive as well as the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the area's treasury of outdoor opportunities. The Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site as well as historic Flat Rock and North Carolina's State Theater, the Flat Rock Playhouse, are a 10-minute drive. Brewery and winery tours are widely available, including Sierra Nevada's east coast beer-brewing facility located about 10 miles away in Mills River.
We hope visitors will appreciate the building's handsome brick facade, representing our town's best example of butter-joint brick arches and early 20th Century craftsmanship.
Renovations of the building in 2001 helped spur the renaissance of South Main Street. Many thriving businesses now share this block with us: Brandy’s Restaurant (directly below the apartment), West First Wood Fired Pizza (considered WNC's finest), The Poe House craft beer and wine pub and coffee houses. Architect Ken Gaylord uncovered the building's graceful bones and added modern touches to create a harmonious blending of respect for the old and appreciation for modern aesthetics. A number of Gaylord's project drawings and paintings are used to add visual interest to the apartment. We hope to see you soon!

The apartment was very cute and very clean. Convenient to everything. Very charming, in that “old building” kind of way. Beautiful floors, high ceilings, and beautiful natural lighting. Quick responses from Host. The only thing that would help would be instructions on how to use the TVs.
But definitely a 5 star experience!

This Vrbo was in an amazing location and provided everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable, which is not always the case in our experiences but probably the most important to us. Can’t think of one thing to complain about

Second story 3-room loft right on Main Street in Hendersonville. Large kitchen/sitting area as you enter this upstairs loft. Bedroom to the right with a king sized bed. Bathroom has a too-small shower, with a separate area with sink. Wood floors were uneven (I staggered a bit going to the bathroom in the middle of the night). There is a separate sitting room on the far side of the unit with a sofa-bed. Unfortunately, no view to the street below, and no balcony. So, why 5 stars? 100%, location, location, location! Just grab a cup of coffee in the morning and sit out on Main Street below. Great way to start the day. Stroll Main Street for shopping and restaurants whenever you desire. Nice people, cute neighborhood, great experience!

A nice roomy apartment that would be comfortable for a longer stay. We appreciated the dedicated parking space in downtown Hendersonville.

This is not strictly a two bedroom apartment. The second is a pull-out couch.
The coffee maker needs updating!
All in all you can’t beat the price!

The apartment was perfect for our weekend trip. Right in the heart of town, we could walk to everything. Would definitely recommend!
* It was also very, very clean, which is greatly appreciated! :)

Apartment was large -- three rooms plus bath -- and fitted out well. Nice king-size bed, and there's a second TV in the guest/sitting room. The kitchen was well-equipped although we brought our own Kuerig. The 27 steps to the second floor might be a challenge for some, but not for us! The view was great for sunsets, but no view of Main Street. But the convenient location more than made up for that. Overall, highly recommended!

Our stay was everything we hoped it would be even though we made our reservations, almost 6 months ahead of time. Awesome parking great access to everything downtown. This will likely be our getaway spot just close enough to home, but far enough to be called a “getaway”

Clean, quiet and a great neighborhood.
We have stayed in a couple of apartments downtown previously and always enjoyed our stays. This unit was no exception.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay close to downtown.
Our sincere thanks for letting us visit your lovely home.

We loved the convenience of the proximity to shops, restaurants and museums. This loft offered charming warmth and plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable. We loved almost everything about our stay - we wished there was a coffee maker, but Black Bear Coffee took care of us!

Such a cozy spot in an amazing town. This was centrally located for easy walks to restaurants or bars in the area. Even if you are planning a trip to Asheville, I would highly suggest staying here as it’s just a short drive north to get there.
We will be back for sure, great experience!

This property was SO nice! Better than advertised, very convenient to all the good shops on Main Street. The reserved parking was so nice, and the loft was so quiet. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower had good water pressure!

We thought across the street from the Court House meant Across the street in front, but it is to the left of the Court House. The location is absolutely amazing! The apartment is the perfect size for two. King bed was comfortable - bath needs a bit improving, but had everything we needed! Nice size closets and mini kitchen. We really liked the cozy tv room. We also found Brandy's Restaurant below and fell in love with it! Great food and bar!! Hendersonville has been a special place for us for the past 40 years.

Great location for a quick getaway. In the heart of town. Walkable to many restaurants and shops. Loft was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and seemed to be well stocked if you wanted to do some cooking. Only suggestion would be to update the shower.

First let me start off by saying this is the cleanest property we have ever gotten from Vrbo. I know it takes a lot of work to keep a property spotless and I appreciate it greatly! The king size bed was wonderful, especially after exploring the area all day. The area itself is extremely walkable. We enjoyed eating at all the delicious eateries on Main Street. The people of Hendersonville were so kind, it was refreshing. The host was always prompt to message back. I can not say enough good things about this property/host. If you are on the fence, just book it already! You will not be disappointed.

Perfect location for a lovely walk to brunch, shopping, cocktails, and dinner. Enjoyed the bookstore, bakeries, and great wood fired pizza. Also was a perfect location for little day trips to breweries and hiking. The dedicated parking spot was wonderful.

Denise’s detailed instructions were perfect! The place is right on Main Street but quiet and convenient. I didn’t find any check out instructions (you know how some owners have two pages?), so imagine my surprise when Denise said there weren’t any—they’d take care of everything! A lovely stay.

First.. The pictures on line are deceiving. When I asked the property manager why the furniture etc was different than shown online.. she replied.. that the pictures online were taken by a professional photographer years ago. There was mold growing under the shower door..aluminum foil wrapped around the stove burners that was dirty.. kitchen items were just piled in the cabinets.. and more.
I was advised to contact the owner.. and he apologized.. then asked it he could buy us lunch. We declined.
Second.. the location is great. It's situated in the heart of Hendersonville where it is an easy walk to shops.. restaurants and the rest.
