This Storm Meadows Club condo has a true Ski In Ski Out location, a daytime ski season shuttle service, fabulous views, great amenities, and a good price. This is a corner unit with great views from the wrap around deck as well as the interior. The condo has a King bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 Double beds. There are two full bathrooms and an in-unit washer and dryer. If the 3 beds are not enough, the living room has a queen pull out couch! Renovations just prior to 2020 brought many upgrades to this condo. This included the stylish and comfy living room furniture, dining set, bar seats, and the custom zinc bar counter. Hardwood floors were added as well as new doors, trim, paint and decor for a coherent and consistent style. In the bedrooms, new tables, lamps, art, beds and bedding sets brought style and quality up to the new standard set in the main living area. These renovations really enhanced what was already a great condo. A newer fireplace, exposed wood beams, tongue and groove ceilings, a 50 inch smart HDTV, bluetooth soundbar stereo, and great views of the ski slopes, surrounding mountains, and the Yampa valley make this a great place to stay while you're here in Steamboat Springs.
The Location:
The location gives you great views and ski in ski out access. Just ride down the elevator, grab your skis or boards from the heated indoor ski & snowboard locker room, take 5 steps out the door, pop on your skis or board, and off you go! A short beginner level ski access trail leads to the Right O Way ski trail and the ski area base. Coming home for lunch, for a break, or at the end of your ski day is easy too! Just head down the Right O Way trail or the Swinger trail and veer off to the right onto the Storm Meadows Ski In Access trail. This will bring you right back to the building! We've added a satellite view photo to illustrate the ski in ski out access trails. If you're here in summer, the ski in ski out access turns into hike or bike in and out access. With the Routt National Forest right outside, keep an eye out for wildlife. In particular, this part of Steamboat, near the forest as well as Burgess Creek, is prime moose habitat.
The Amenities:
This property also comes with "club" amenities. Besides the ski locker room, the building also has its own hot tub, which faces southwest for great sunset views. If you exit the front door of the building, you'll find the clubhouse straight ahead, about 50 yards away. The clubhouse has an attendant, a small lounge area, and dual locker rooms with restrooms, showers, and saunas. The clubhouse provides direct access to the heated pool and hot tub area. Even the pool deck is heated, keeping it free of snow in winter months. The upper level of the clubhouse has a nice large fitness center and provides access to the tennis court. Also, in summer, the HOA brings out sunbathing loungers and tables with umbrellas. These facilities are really nice to have when you're not out exploring the surrounding areas or taking part in the many events and attractions of Steamboat. Who doesn't want to hop in the pool or a hot tub after day of adventure?
Shuttle Service and Getting Around:
In the summer, pretty much everyone wants to have a car with them. How else would you get to and from all the wilderness areas, parks, rivers, lakes, and national forest trailheads? In ski season, guests will love this location, and the fact that you probably don't need a car! In ski season the development has a free private shuttle service. During the day, it loops back and forth to and from Gondola Square, the heart of the mountain village. From there, you can easily walk throughout the mountain village, or hop on the free city bus for a ride anywhere in town. So between the private shuttle, the ski in ski out access, and the free city bus, getting around without the cost of a rental car is very doable. Many of the ranches and attractions or winter activities outside of town, such as snowmobiling or the Strawberry Park Hot Springs, offer a tour option where they'll come pick you up. Of course, Steamboat also has multiple options for taxis, if you want a slightly faster or more private option for transportation. Fortunately, for guests at this condo, you probably won't need transportation much at all. Once you have your skis or boards, starting your day is as simple as getting yourself ready and strapping on your skis or board!

** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. Very pleased with the rental. The property management team was excellent, courteous, very responsive, and answered any questions that we had regarding check in and check out. Highly recommended!

We were very pleased with our rental. It is clean and comfortable. It is well taken care of for the most part. Kitchen cabinets need an upgrade but most of the rest of the condo has been upgraded. The location is excellent and we would definitely stay here again.

Great time during our late April trip. Location was perfect and was able to see, multiple moose families, bear 1036 and her 3 cubs . Location was exactly how it was described and the company stays in contact throughout to make sure your stay is perfect. Thanks again and we'll be back!

great location...ski in ski out :)
condo was clean and tidy. Parking can be difficult as parking lot fills up pretty quickly but as the condo is ski in and out, you really don't need to move your car once parked. Overall, great place :)

perfect location. we could ski in and out and back for lunch if we wanted. the ski locker on 1st floor was a huge bnus as well.
the condo was very clean and the bedrooms spacious with a cozy living area and fieplace, plenty of dining space also.
the only suggestion would be to update some of the kitchen essentials (baking trays, mixing bowls, non stick skillets) for those who plan to cook in as we did. would overall recommend

The stay was nice and location was convenient. It was not, however a unit that rents often. In other words, it did not have many of the features of a typical vacation rental. The kitchen is poorly laid out with everything stuffed into cabinets. There were literally no cleaning supplies - fantastic, windex, etc - were not available. The broom was hidden, although we found it.
The bedrooms are laid out incorrectly. The better one (with its own newer bath) had the two double beds, while the Main was much smaller and required crossing the hallway to reach the "needs updating" bath.
I would recommend for the location. The owners are available and helpful, they need to think through the guest experience.

We have a wonderful time staying at this condo in Steamboat. The views from the balcony are gorgeous. We came in the summer and easy access to the community pool and hot tub were great. We had plenty of room for our family of 3 and were very comfortable during our stay.

Great condo! We especially like how well laid out everything in the condo was for ski travelers with lots of jackets and coats to hang. Numerous hooks throughout the place is seriously a bonus! The views and it ease to the slopes with storage locker were spectacular. Really enjoyed the updated decor and the entire complex with gym and pool.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay! The entire key system can use some clarity, but other than that it was great! Loved the tennis and pool areas.

Great property for our family of four. Nice pool and pickle ball court. The pictures made us think that there is a hot tub on our deck. There was not. Overall great stay!

Property was as described, nicely remodeled, spacious and great view of slopes. Ski-in and out even at the end of season! Our family enjoyed the stay and facilities including hot tub on the premisses. Easy instructions and responsive management.

It was smooth start to finish. We enjoyed our stay very much.

very nice stay
This was our first time staying in Steamboat in the summertime. The condo was very comfortable. The condo temperature was perfect, even without AC. Our children loved the room with 2 big beds and the proximity to the pool.

Loved it!!
Great location, easy ski in ski out, more than enough amenities, two bathrooms a plus, washer dryer a plus, hot tub in building and recreation center were super, Would definitely book this unit again.
The only negative was trying to figure out the television in the main family room. We just wanted to watch the NCAA basketball games and just couldn’t figure out how to get to regular stations but the TV had just about everything else. Maybe some sort of an instruction sheet would be helpful.

Skiing Lodge
Perfect property for a wonderful ski trip. It was my family of four and our family friends (3).
Check in was the easiest!! Didn’t matter that our flight was delayed two hours and we got in late because we just had to grab the key and everything else was ready for us!! Nice size with two great bathrooms!! Washer and dryer was a huge plus!!
Only two things I can even think of for improvement….we had a really hard time finding the sheets for the pull out couch (they were in a basket in the second bedroom) and the ski in was hard to find. We passed it two days and had to walk ALOT to get back! So maybe better labeling there??

Great place
The place is great - nice kitchen, fireplace, rooms. The washer and dryer in unit are super, and the workout facilities and hot tub were great. The ski in and out trails were doable, but a little tiring as there are some flat sections.

Great Place!
The condo was great! It had everything we needed and very comfortable for our family of 4. It was well furnished and easy access to skiing. It was nice having 2 full size beds in the guest bedroom to accommodate our teenagers. We will definitely look at renting again on our next trip to Steamboat.

Easy access to slopes
Great ski in ski out location. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. Be familiar with the bus routes and schedules when trying to get back after the lifts close.

What a view
This property has an awesome view of the mountain. Everything worked great and it was easy to check in and out. The ski out feature is really easy. It is very quiet which was very nice.

All the comforts of home
My family enjoyed the property: comfortable beds, nice views, nicely decorated, well stocked kitchen and nice property grounds. Our children enjoyed the pool everyday. Overall, well kept and enjoyable.
As a family who frequently stays in VRBO properties, the rental process and over documentation from the property management company is a bit over the top. The rental agreement was no less than a 4 page contact. Subsequent communications were no less exhaustive from check in to check out processes. I even received an email on how to write my review:
"5 star ratings are standard. HomeAway expects every guest to have a "5 star" stay. If you were happy with the property and our service, then you should be giving a 5 star rating. 4 star ratings are actually considered bad, so please stick to 5 stars unless something was seriously wrong with the property or our service."
I enjoyed the property but would like less formality so I can enjoy without second guessing if I forgot one of the rules.

Lovely stay with a few friends in early June! Nicely decorated, comfortable beds, easy access to hot tubs and only a 5-8 minute drive from the main town area!

Great location! The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Overall the experience was fantastic! Everything was clean and ready when we walked in the door. The attention to detail was much appreciated. It's the little things that make a huge difference. There was a humidifier and distilled water in one of the rooms, which is a "must have" for those of us that don't get along with the horribly dry climate in Colorado. There were store loyalty cards and other helpful local business cards and information on the kitchen counter. (TIP: Go to City Market, AKA King Soopers/Kroger instead of expensive Safeway.)The internet connection was blazing fast, even with 4 people using it concurrently. The pool was pretty much empty the entire time, even with the reservation system. (25 person limit due to social distancing.) We were able to walk right in with no waiting or prior reservations. The hot tubs were all closed due to COVID-19, unfortunately. (This is true for all of the hotels and condos in Colorado with small hot tubs. Go to Old Town Hot Springs to get your spa fix.)The kitchen was well stocked with everything from dishes to pans to spices and even ample coffee filters. The washer and dryer worked great. Very helpful for a longer stay. They are not kidding when they say you don't need air conditioning. Two very powerful fans were provided, just in case. If you leave the doors open and screens closed during the cool night, and then close the doors and curtains during the day, it stays quite comfortable even without the fans. This was in August during a near record-setting week of high temps in the 90's.Check-in was very easy, even though Google maps took us to the wrong property. (It's actually further up the hill.) The property manager responded quickly to text messages when I had questions. The people that live there in the summer were very nice, as were the staff at the club house. The location is practically on the ski slopes (you can ski straight from the condo to the slope), and still within a 30 minute drive to everything fun to do in the summer.Would definitely stay there again, summer or winter!

Such a FUN stay!
We enjoyed the condo tremendously. It felt cozy and homey to us the moment we arrived. It was perfect for our family’s needs. We made breakfast there each morning and used the deck outside a lot. There was plenty of space for our needs and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms and a bed for each of us. Thank you for helping us have a very enjoyable family vacation amid all of the craziness in the world. We highly recommend this condo for your stay in Steamboat!

Summer 2020
This condo was a great fit for our family of 4. We wanted to visit Colorado this summer for hiking, biking, golfing and family fun and Steamboat was more than perfect for all of those. The balcony is a nice spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. The majority of the condo has been updated. The beds were all super comfy. Check-in process is really easy. This condo is located about 10 minutes from Downtown.

Great stay
This place was perfect for family of 4. Especially enjoyed the corner deck for the morning sun. Easier than we thought to walk down the hill to Gondola area for dinner!! This complex should advertise the pickle ball lines drawn on tennis court-a bonus!!

Cozy, updated, clean
We had a great stay in Steamboat over 4th of July. This condo was clean and very nicely updated. Great location and the view was terrific. It’s very cozy (small), but really just fine for 4 people - especially since we were out hiking and rafting and such most of the time. We made reservations at the pool one day (they are limiting entry because of COVID) but it wasn’t a problem, and the attendants were super nice. Our only complaint is that that building itself is really dated - it definitely needs a lot of updating! But once you’re inside the condo - all is just fine.

Great location
This condo is accessible from the slopes right outside the building. The shuttle is very handy through the day. The hot tub and pool at the main building are a short walk away. The condo is comfortable, clean, and well equipped for cooking. The host answered any questions we had. The view of the slopes is great. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this condo.

Amazing view
The property was better than the pictures. It was renovated since the pictures were taken and I loved it. It had all the essentials needed for being able to cook. The booking agent and the owner of the unit were so helpful and accommodating. Even the neighbors were great. I would definitely rent this unit again!

Great corner unit with view
We loved staying here! Beds are big and comfortable and condo is very tastefully decorated. It was so easy to get our skis on and to the slopes, we were at the gondola in five minutes! Highly recommend!

Amazing Winter Wonderland!
Loved this property and all of the recent upgrades! Very comfortable beds and cozy decor! The view from the porch was great! The ski in and out was super convenient! Wish the shuttle ran past 4:50pm though. But we had a car so all was good. We will definitely hope to book again! Love Steamboat!

Summer soccer tournament stay
Great location, the kids could walk out the door of the building to the salt water pool. Summertime walking on the ski out trails was a great discovery! Easy walking/biking access to the base and downtown bus! The condo is clean and comfortable, fully stocked for all cooking needs with utensils, pots and pans, dishes and flatware. Many condiments were also available. Beds were extrememly comfortable and the wrap around deck was great. Very pleased with the accomodations!

The place is much older than it looks in pictures.
The hot tub in the building is small and fits no more than three people. The other one you have to walk to in a different building. The beds have springs that you can feel. Also most places I rent in Colorado come with air humidifier. This owner doesn’t provide one so it was hard to sleep at night. I will also have to mention that there are not any working knives. The porch and the views are gorgeous. The ski in is easier to navigate but the ski out is tough. The condo provide a shuttle so you can get anywhere in town. No need to rent a car. This awesome a fabulous feature.

Clean end unit condo with 1980’s decor.
Unit 320A was clean and comfy. No frills or fancy but everything worked great. Kitchen is loaded with everything you would need and unit is a great end unit on first floor.
Shared club house is nice and clean offering swimming, exercise room and tennis. Employee at club house was not kind or accommodating. Chuey informed us that residents don’t like children or baseball players. We were visiting for the 13u World Series (thousand of dollars brought to Steamboat Springs). He also stated that pool hours are 8am-8pm because of visitors making noise and residents wanting to have their sliding doors open and not hear children.Pool closes at 8pm even though it gets dark at 10pm. River was closed for high temps. Steamboat Lake closes at 4pm. Other than that- great unit and great location.
