This 2 Bedroom + Loft condo at Northstar offers guests a convenient location with all the amenities at a great price! Relax by the gas fireplace in the cozy living area or sit out on your private balcony enjoying the great views. The hot tub, sauna and steam room are just steps away.
Living Space:
The living area has vaulted ceilings and southern exposure for natural light giving it a nice spacious feel. The wood trim adds warmth, and the side windows are a nice touch. The gas fireplace provides a cozy ambiance; kick back in the recliner and enjoy the cable TV or settle in to relax. Among the best features are the views. The living room and balcony have very nice views of the surrounding mountains and the
Yampa valley. On a clear day you can see all the way to the Flat Tops Wilderness, and you will enjoy some amazing sunsets. From the loft, you can see the ski area gondola heading up to Thunderhead Lodge.
Bedrooms & Bath:
Another great feature is the bedroom setup. The master bedroom has a comfy queen, the second bedroom has two full beds, and the cozy loft has two twin beds. With 5 individual beds plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, this condo has ample sleeping capacity. Each bedroom has convenient built-in drawers with a desk and a full closet for easy storage. The bedrooms are separated by a hallway providing nice privacy for each room. The loft has platform frames for the twin mattresses with storage underneath. It also has windows that bring in natural light while allowing you to gaze at the ski mountain and the gondola. The loft is accessed by a ladder from the living area and should only be used by older children and adults.
Kitchen & Dining:
The condo is laid out nicely for groups large or small. Ample counter space makes meal preparation easy and the location of the kitchen/dining island allows folks to sit and talk with the cook and gives the cook a great view out of the balcony. The counter space conveniently serves as kitchen, dining, or computer work space and will easily seat 8 for meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware & utensils.
Amenities
The unit provides all the amenities. With these prices you might not expect it, but this small building has a community hot tub, sauna, and steam room. Complimentary WiFi, cable TV, shared laundry, and a ski locker are included. Parking is available in the lot. Trailers, RVs, etc. are not permitted.
Location
Northstar is located in the mountain village area less than a mile from the base of the ski area. Walk less than a quarter mile to the free bus to the ski resort or to downtown (about 3 miles away). There is a city trail called the Mountain Sneak trail that begins a short distance from the building and leads directly to the gondola, shops, bars, and groceries. Emerald Mountain and Fish Creek Falls offer great hiking and snow shoeing trails within 6.5 miles. The Strawberry Hot Springs are a short distance and are a local favorite.
This condo is very warm and comfortable. Northstar is a small development with only 12 condos and, unit 213 is on the top floor and away from the stairs so it is very quiet.

For the price, this was an easy stay for 6 friends skiing at Steamboat. The free shuttle bus to the mountain (which you can also take to town) was convenient, it was great having ski storage, the kitchen was well stocked, and communication with the management company was easy. The loft can fit adults but is a bit small.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I've worked hard to be able to take vacations in ski towns. And with the popularity of skiing continuing to grow, so have the cost. I found this cabin to be reminiscent of why I come to ski, not for the luxury, but for the sport and thrill of being on the slopes. The finished in the apartment were a little dated, but the warmth the place provided for my girlfriend as well as my business partners is exactly what we were looking for. And at a fair price.

Cozy and warm cabin-like condo for a week of skiing in the ‘Boat. There were 2couples and one single. The 2 bedrooms and loft were ideal for our group. The jacuzzi was a hit. Location was very convenient to the gondola. Loved the fireplace. We would book here again.

Nice condo, good location, quiet complex. My adult daughter loved the loft. Not far from free city bus stop. Easy to get to the mountain. Liked the humidifiers, which saved me from dried out sinuses. The gas fireplace was great when you come in cold from skiing. I recommend this property.

Perfect for us. Loved the hot tub, sauna and steam room just 2 floors down. Owner got back to us immediately to help with WiFi password. Yes, far to bus stop but dad dropped us/gear off in am and easy walk downhill back. A little dated but comfortable and all slept pretty good in beds.

Rental was easy and reasonable. The people hired to clean could do a better job & so could the lot management of snow & ice. Other than that it’s a lovely condo in a great spot. We had room for 7 of us & enjoyed our stay.

Overall good stay
Transportation to the mountain is so-so, you must take the free bus as there is no dedicated shuttle like other complexes have. The free shuttles do not operate on schedule most of the time. Beds were a bit uncomfortable but the place was well stocked. We did have a mishap with he internet service when we got there but the owner was very quick to get the issue corrected. Overall, very affordable and good stay.

Budget friendly, functional, quaint condo with an easy location to city bus stop and short ride to base. Fireplace was nice. Kitchen was adequate though a blender would be nice. Unit is up two flights of stairs.

We had to change locations and the unit we were given was terrible. No parking. check in process was a joke. It did not match the unit that we booked at all.

Creative Pictures for underwhelming interior
The creative way the pictures of the property were taken lead the perspective that each room is larger than it truly is. If we would have had 10 people as stated feasible in the description at least 2 people would have been out of luck, the pull out couch is completely broken. Definitely not worth the price.

Perfect Condo for a Perfect Family Adventure
We had a family of 6 stay at this beautiful condo for 10 nights and had a fantastic time. The owner, Beth was wonderful to communicate with and answered all our questions. The condo had all the amenities we needed. Loved the gas fireplace in the living room. Great ambience and floor plan. The kids loved the loft! Plenty of room for all of us. Lots of supplies provided to get us started for our long stay. We highly recommend to everyone!

Excellent stay in Steamboat
This property was great for our group of 8. I love that they provided full size shower supplies. There were plenty of starter supplies. We did have to buy more toilet paper and paper towels. There was also not enough towels for our group and for use with the hot tub. We didn't let that stop us and we enjoyed the hot tub each day after skiing. The fireplace heats the room nicely and we even got to see them shovel the roof over the deck. I hope they will clean the small shower floor better and note that one of the hair dryers was broken. There was another so it worked out fine. We would stay here again.

Great owner, clean condo
The property was very clean and well kept. It was very stormy during our January stay, and the (downhill) parking lot was a slight challenge one day for our front-wheel- drive- only car, but a shovel and a push helped us conquer the packed and slippery snow to get up to the road. The condo was as described, and a good value for the money, though firmer beds would be lovely. We used the Meadows parking lot after deciding we were too challenged to haul our skis to the uphill bus stop a couple of blocks away, and that worked very well. The owner was readily contacted when we had any questions and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Condo on the second floor....
Perfect for my group! Enough beds for everyone. (Group of 8) only 1 small thing we didn’t like...had to trek up 2 flights of stairs to get the top level with our luggage and softball bags in hand... but something we could deal with because we loved the condo.
