About this house rental

Bring your family or work remotely and relax in our 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home that we call the “Sweet Spot". This home is surrounded by tall pines in the Old Broadmoor neighborhood. It is a 5 minute walk to the Broadmoor Hotel and within a mile of Stratmoor Open Space, Cheyenne Mt Zoo, and Seven Falls. Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak Highway and incline, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Old Colorado City, Helen Hunt Falls and more are all within a half hour away.

Do you want to work remotely? This is the place! We have high-speed Wi-Fi and plenty of space to get work done. The family can enjoy all the surrounding destinations while work is getting done at the same time.

The ambiance is warm and cozy, yet ample and spacious both inside and out. There is room to park at least 10 cars for all of your gathering family and friends. The private backyard has space for a game of badminton, Bocce, snow angel making in the winter, hide and go seek or just relaxing under the Colorado blue sky. Inside you will find 5 spacious bedrooms that comfortably sleep 10.

We offer food that can be picked up or delivered from 1 of 3 local grocery stores. The home has a large smoker/grill outside. The gourmet kitchen with Chefs quality, 6 burner stove, and 2 ovens. Don't want to bother with all that? Meals can also be ordered from the Broadmoor in advance or delivered from any one of several locations nearby. We have have information on more than 20 close-by options for your convenience.

We stayed at the Sweet Spot for a couple of nights so that our family (grown children, spouses, and grandchildren) could enjoy a couple of days around Colorado Springs. The home was very welcoming, family-friendly, and accessible to the Springs. Communication with the owners was great-- we loved our time!

The location is great! Beds were comfortable and the stove and ovens were large. We went to the Broadmoor every day, it’s a 10 minute walk. Also the Catholic Church is 10 minutes walking. Great location!

The house was perfect for our group of littles up to oldies. Kitchen labeled perfectly. Lots of space inside and out to hang out together. Comfy beds. The host could not have been more accommodating and responsive! All in all one of the best VRBO stays ever!

This property did not disappoint. A group of women were there for a conference and this house was such a close walk to the hotel/conference. The house was beautiful, extremely clean and the beds were really comfortable. The host was extremely responsive even while she was traveling. I would definitely stay at this house when/if I ever get back to this area. Thank you for making us all feel at home, so very inviting!

Hands down, one of the best locations our family has ever rented. Pam is a true hostess, making sure every amenity is available. This is a true ‘home away from home’ experience and the location can’t be beat. At the end of busy days, each person in our large group was able to spread out and have privacy or quiet time. When we wanted to all be together for meals, games, and family fun there was plenty of room! It was really hard for us to leave…this is a very special place. Thank you Pam!

The house is almost next door to the convention center at the Broadmoor and a very easy walk to the front desk of the Main Building of the resort. So, location was perfect for our party that was attending a wedding. Pam, the owner, was great to work with. The house is well appointed with everything we needed. There are 2 1/2 baths on the main floor with two living areas (and a really nice big TV in the family room). Upstairs is 3 bedrooms sharing a bath. So, easy for 3 couples with no one sharing a bath or maybe up to five rooms of people if those that go upstairs don’t mind sharing a bath. So, very well located with an experienced and accommodating owner who has thought of everything.

My daughters and four grandchildren, ages 19-24 joined me for an extended weekend at this beautiful home. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay from the beautifully appointed living areas and bedrooms to the welcoming back yard. I'm hoping we can return next year and make this an annual event.

This property is really great. Neighborhood is nice, big back yard, very clean house and not far from the Broadmoor Hotel. Plenty of space even for a large group. The kitchen was impressive, with plenty of counter and storage space and a surprisingly well stocked pantry. Laundry room is downstairs, with plenty of detergents on hand. If anything brings me back to Colorado Springs, I would definitely rent this house again.

We really enjoyed our stay. This home had a warm and cozy feel with a great location. We spent most of our time in the home relaxing in the large living room. We stayed here while attending a work conference at The Broadmoor. Walking back and forth to The Broadmoor was easy with nice sidewalks and street lights making it feel safe even in the evenings.
