The Lily Pad truly has a nice home away from home vibe. It’s very quiet with a lot of privacy even though it’s in a neighborhood. After a day of adventures it always felt so good to get back home and relax in the comfort of this well stocked home. We especially enjoyed the attached sun room. Susan was a delight & made sure we were right at home. We will definitely stay here again.

This property was perfect for 2 couples. We all enjoyed the cozy home and fixing Thanksgiving dinner together. Both bathrooms were beautiful and spacious. It worked out well for our dog also. Susan was a wonderful host. We enjoyed visiting with her and seeing the tiny house she is building. We wished we had time to stay longer.

We all enjoyed our stay at The Lily Pad. It is comfortable and well set up for two couples. We enjoyed the covered porch on more than one occasion. Everything worked. We liked it enough we are planning on returning next year. Susan is a great host. We enjoyed visiting with her and getting to see her tiny house project. We also liked seeing Wiz’s studio and work. This was our first VRBO experience and it was all positives.

Although this is an older property, everything was there to make a very livable experience. During our week long stay we enjoyed the Port Orford community and the accessibility of the beaches for our daily walks. We would stay here again in the future.

Comfy family house
Susan was very helpful with all aspects of this rental, responding quickly and explaining the best parts of Port Orford. The house had absolutely everything needed for feeling like home and was impeccably clean. Even my dog had a sunroom to laze around in and a grassy yard to roam. Would definitely rent again when headed to the Oregon coast! Thanks again, Sue D.

Perfect Home for a Perfect Vacation
From the moment you communicate with Susan you know that your vacation is in good hands. Upon arrival her thorough walk-thru of the home left nothing to surprise.
The home itself was exactly as I had hoped it would be. Comfortable and spotless, in a lovely residential neighborhood, quiet and private. Everything you could possibly need is in the home. Great hot water and pressure, comfortable bed, tons of dvds and videos, and a beautiful backyard for relaxing. The screened-in sunroom is so lovely and Susan provided a folding table for me to do some crafting.
Port Orford and it's surroundings is just a gem! So many different beaches, hiking paths, rivers and things to do kept my pups and I busy for 2 weeks. I especially enjoyed meeting and playing pickleball at the park with the locals who very so very welcoming. The Saturday market at the Grange featured many local artists. Our favorite hike was a short drive to Sisters Rock (south 101) where we hiked to an empty beach and found a cave!
Susan's 'all things Port Orford' book inspired me to try and locate all of the painted fire hydrants throughout the town - What fun!
I would highly recommend this lovely cottage where you can truly feel as if you were in your own home while away on vacation.
Thank you Susan - Can't wait to return!

Restful, pleasant stay
We enjoyed our stay. The downstairs king on suite was perfect for my mother and father who are in their late 70's. Beaches were near by with easy access.

Great home in a quiet neighborhood
This location was just off 101 and easy to find. We had everything we needed and the host helped us locate an emergency vet.... Above and beyond. Very well appointed for those traveling with dogs. There's even a small dog run in the back. :)

We had a very nice time spending the week at the Lily Pad. Check-in was fast and simple, the place was nice and cozy, and the peace and quiet was well needed. Susan was an amazing host. I enjoyed talking with her and appreciate her suggestions for must see/do things to do. We hope to do it again next summer.

My perfect away from home place.
The Lily Pad was the perfect place to relax in comfort, read a little, watch tv a little and do nothing a little. Had my 95-year-old mom with me. We took some nice drives around the area and even went into the California Redwoods. Couldnt have had better weather. Can't wait to come back next year.

The Best Place to Relax!!
Thank you Susan, for the best place to stay in Port Orford! This was the most relaxing home to spend with my sister and reconnect. The enclosed back porch was our favorite place to sit, talk and listen to the rain. We are already planning our next trip!

Rainy but wonderful
The house was very comfortable with that 1940 charm, bathrooms although were very modern.
There is a nice dog kennel in the back yard, we would love to come back in early summer or late summer, owner was very nice on greeting us and letting us know the good places to eat in town.

Perfect!
We had the pleasure of staying at the Lily Pad for 7 days. It was wonderful! I loved the retro kitchen with all of the modern conveniences. I cooked a roast and vegetables in the Crock-Pot and it was so nice to come home to it after a day of exploring the beaches. The house was clean, well-kept and well-stocked. It really was like being home. I would go back in a heartbeat. Susan, the owner, was very nice and personable. Port Orford is a lovely little town and the Lily Pad is a lovely little house to stay in.

Perfect place to unwind.
We've stayed at other vacation rentals on the Oregon coast but none have impressed us like "The Lily Pad ". We felt at home the minute Susan opened the door. She was very thorough in explaining features in the house. It was very clean and comfortable. It felt like our home away from home. Thank you Susan for a wonderful 10 days.

A wonderful experience
The Lily Pad was the perfect place to stay for our Port Orford vacation of 6 days. The house was extremely clean and we easily made ourselves right at home. Everything we wanted to do was just a short distance away, except for a day trip to Bandon. Very relaxing!

Excellent experience in every way
The house was in perfect condition, meticulously maintained and updated with all conveniences without spoiling the house character. It was quiet and provided plenty of privacy. It was spotlessly clean, well furnished and stocked. It felt more like staying in a friends' home than in a rental. We have stayed in quite a few rental homes on the Oregon Coast in the past and the Lily Pad has been probably the best of them all. Susan was a gracious hostess and a delight to deal with. The short walking distance to a great local pub (Salty Dawg) with tasty pizza and beer did not hurt either :). Thank you Susan!

Relax & revitalize
This cozy property has been beautifully revitalized to its former character. You will be impressed by its original architectural unique details. You will also be impressed by the gracious hostess. Susan was very helpful with her suggestions on places to dine & places to visit. We will certainly return.

Perfect getaway for exploring the southern Oregon coast.
Susan is great to deal with. We really enjoyed our stay at the Lilly Pad. Two couples fit very comfortably with the two spacious bedrooms. Convenient to all the local sights and within walking distance to some fantastic pizza at the Salty Dawg. If you are looking for a clean, quaint (loved the back patio!) and quiet place this is it.
