About this house rental
Newly renovated spacious townhouse with a stunning view of Lake Sunapee nestled in the hills of Granliden. In summer, take a small walk down to the beach to use Granliden's complimentary kayaks, paddle boards, canoe or even their adorable little sailboat. In winter, take a quick 10 minute ride to Mt. Sunapee or 45 minutes to Okemo for a great ski vacation. The mountain is now owned by Vail so the Epic Pass makes it easy to hop mountains even with Stowe which is an hour and forty away.
The entire townhouse has just been completely renovated. We added a brand new bathroom and entertainment area in the basement. Five flat panel TVs were added to make comfy movie night in almost every room.
The townhouse has three floors:
1st Floor - Front bedroom with a trundle bed (sleeps two), full bath, brand new kitchen, wood burning fireplace, dining and living room areas, 60" flat panel TV. Extra large glass slider opening up to a deck for grilling and entertainment.
2nd Floor - Master bedroom with a king bed (w/balcony and water view), middle bedroom with two twin beds and a loft with a queen bed. Front bedroom has two double beds and two cots if needed (w/balcony). Fully renovated bathroom.
Basement - Pool Table, foosball table, dart board, couch/entertainment area with flat panel tv, board games and table/chairs. Half bath and laundry facilities are also newly added.
In addition to the lakeside facilities, Granliden is also home to one of the oldest golf courses in the State of New Hampshire. People first took up golf clubs at Granliden and played a few informal holes around the original summer boarding house. In the early part of the 20th century Alex Findley was hired to design a 9 hole layout for the new Granliden Hotel. In the nineteen-twenties, the course was redesigned by renouned golf course architect Walter Travis.
Currently the community boasts two true clay courts, and two Nova Pro-Clay courts that have the feel and play of clay courts but are less effected by the weather and are playable almost immediately after a rain. The Nova Pro-Clay courts are also illuminated for play after dark!
The swimming pool is located adjacent to the Nova Pro-Clay tennis courts. The pool measures 30 feet wide by 60 feet long, is heated, and open during the summer season. Across the street from the pool is a playground area that has a variety of swings and climbing structures and monkey bars suitable for children, a picnic table and a bocce court.
** Minimum 7 night stay Sept-June
** Minimum 14 night stay July and August

Please note the following:
I ONLY LIST ON VRBO. IF YOU SEE MY LISTING SOMEWHERE ELSE (SUCH AS CRAIG’S LIST), IT IS A SCAM.
In addition, the homeowner’s association bylaws require a 7 night minimum stay with the exception of July and August where it is a 2 week minimum stay. Look at this way, more days, more fun and relaxation!!

We’ve come every year for the past 4 years and it’s perfect: on the hill above the beach, roomy, and clean to the harbor.

I wanted a place to stay by the lake as I prepared for my move from the area. Laura did a nice job renovating the condo and it served as a good landing pad.
There was good communication with the host, Laura, and some confusion that was cleared up after some post-checkout conversations.

The property is very pretty and the game room was amazing! Our family spent a lot of time enjoying the amenities provided by the owner, it was perfect for our older teens and early 20 year olds to unwind. The location is perfect for people that enjoy the outdoors. The lake is absolutely beautiful and the owner was easy to reach with any questions or concerns. We used the condo as a townhouse to explore new england several days. You are very close to Vermont and only about 2 1/2 hours from Boston, Salem or Portland.

Enjoyed our 10-night stay at Granliden! The unit was very comfortable with room to spread out and enjoy the amenities.
The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with anything you needed, from spices and condiments to pots, pans and bakeware. We utilized the grill on the deck and loved the lakeviews from the patio and upstairs bedroom. Took advantage of the kayaks at the waterfront and played on the lovely 9-hole golf course.
Laura was a wonderful host! She quickly responded to any questions or concerns we had. We liked the pre-stay checkin call that answered our questions and got us familiar with the unit.

Despite the rainy days we were very comfortable in this condo with a well equipped kitchen, good beds, and five TV’s!
The view is lovely and the patio is great for cocktails and lunch. Older grandkids visited one day and loved the pool table.

We really enjoyed spending time on the lake kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding or cruising. When not on the lake we hiked around the area & biked the North Rail Trail. We loved that we could walk or bike into Sunapee. It was less than 2 miles away.

If you're looking for the perfect spot on Lake Sunapee, with all of the amenities, this Granliden property has it all!
Laura, the owner, made the entire process so easy.
The house is awesome, the views of the lake are second to none, and the beach is great.
I can't wait to come back next summer with my family!

Granliden is a great community with many amenities. This property was close to the private beach and marina, pickle ball and tennis, and golf. The swimming pool was a short drive (can walk if you like hills). The unit was well equipped and owner was most responsive.

This property exceeded our expectations. The place itself was clean and spacious. More than enough space for a family of 6 to spread out. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The basement was a bonus, with a pool table, toys/games, and a TV/couch. The facilities at the property were amazing. The beach was great, the pool was perfect for the kids, and my husband loved the golf course. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would recommend this property for anyone looking to stay on Lake Sunapee.

Fabulous townhouse on a Great Lake resort. The house was immaculate and had a gorgeous view! Easy access to the beach both on foot and by car and also to the pool. Already rebooked for next year!

We
Rented this well appointed and well stocked condo for one month. It was so convenient to Sunapee, and it has a wonderful layout for kids and families. Our kids LOVED the loft space and game room downstairs. Lots of little extras and the host was so responsive!

The condo, in Glenliden on Lake Sunapee, is well laid out, attractively furnished and very comfortable. We had a two week stay with my daughters families (8 people in all) and had enough space for everyone. Those who had to work remotely while there were always able to find a quiet corner. On rainy days, the foosball table was put to good use. There is also a full size pool table in the basement. Granliden offers the use of boats, tennis courts and 9 hole golf course all covered by a small facilities fee. The only negative would be that the beach is a bit small, but it was never over-crowded. It was a great spot for a family vacation!

We stayed in a 4 bedroom townhouse, with view of the lake which is 400 feet down a gentle hill. House has everything inside, lake has kayaks, paddle boards, rowing boat and small sailboat that my boys loved! Tennis courts, heated pool, game room with pool table in the basement, fantastic hiking trails. Perfect vacation!
Thank you!

This property was exceptionally clean and inviting! Everything was well-stocked--more so than any other properties we have rented through VRBO. The fireplace provided a beautiful, warm atmosphere in the evenings! My husband and our grown children spent days at Mount Sunapee and Okemo Mountain skiing. We enjoyed dining in New London! The location is excellent. The large game room in the basement offered lots of fun! We would definitely consider staying here again!!

I recently spent 2 weeks at this lovely condo on Lake Sunapee in NH. The condo faces East with a stunning and direct view of the lake and Mt Kearsage. Lots of sun in the mornings! Outside the living area is a patio with a comfortable arrangement of lounge chairs and cushions for all-day usage to enjoy the scenery and to relax. The condo is well equipped in the kitchen, and for sleeping with one bedroom on the main floor, 3 on the second. Two full baths. On the lowest floor is a large area to gather with friends and or family with pool and foosball tables, TV and a half bath. The surrounding community is quiet for those who want to relax but there is also much to do with a golf course, pool, pickle ball and a sandy, wide beach, excellent for swimming, kayaking and more, all offered at Grandliden. The location of the condo is also within walking distance of the beach. In the winter, it is just15 minutes away from downhill skiing at Mt Sunapee, and the condo has a fireplace for those cold nights. The small town of New London is only 10 minutes away with stores, market and restaurants. The owner, Laura, is very responsive and works hard to ensure your needs are addressed quickly. I highly recommend Laura’s condo for a summer or winter vacation, and I hope to return in years to come!
