Wonderful property which is secluded enough to have complete privacy, large yard area, excellent fire place. The house itself is beautiful with all modern amenities but still retains that country style feeling especially with the wood covered walls and decore. Check in was a breeze and everything that was needed was available to use. Would highly recommend especially for a family stay.

This location is dreamy! Perfect to let the kids run wild and play. And we were very happy that our dog could also tag along. The swings on the big old trees were so thoughtful. It’s close to groceries/liquor store/pharmacy. We shall be booking here again in the future!

Gorgeous property with everything you would need in a home away from home. The property was a stunning sight to see on its own. There is path cut through the field to allow access down to the waterfront area which was a wonderful way to watch the tides come in and out.
We didn't have any children with us but it is set up very thoughtfully for a large family and kids enjoyment. Our whole group enjoyed seeing all the items incorporated into the home from the old farm house that was once on the property. Lisa has created a true gem for those visiting PEI.

It made our stay on pei fabulous. We were close to everything we wanted to see. Accommodation was wonderful. Canoe cove was exceptional. Thanks for ordering great weather.

The Old Dominion property was a perfect location with beautiful views of the bay. The decor was unique - modern amenities but antique furniture from the original homestead. Close to a variety of restaurants with incredible seafood. The only inconvenience was the location for disposal of trash at the end of the stay. We recommend this property for an ideal stay on gorgeous PEI.

Beautiful tranquil place with a view. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The cottage has all that you need, even beach chairs and towels. Close drive to Charlottetown for all your tourist visits.

Easily the nicest house we stayed in on our trip. Very comfortable, well-appointed and well-maintained. The kitchen is well stocked if you like to cook, and the dishwasher was a nice plus. Very comfortable beds, sofa, and chairs. Plenty of room and privacy for us, two couples traveling together.
The setting is beautiful with a distant view of the water and absolutely no neighbors. We would have loved to take advantage of the fire pit and outside areas but had to pass because of the only negative aspect of this place: the hordes of ravenous mosquitos. (At one point we made a game out of counting them clinging outside the window screens.) This was in late June; maybe it’s better at other times?
We still happily gave this place 5 stars because it really is lovely, and there’s only so much anyone can do about the bugs. (A screened porch would be amazing!) We had a great time and would certainly stay here again!

The setting is the epitome of peaceful. A beautiful location on beautiful PEI. This was our second stay at Westville Vista.
If one is looking for a well-equipped accommodation near Charlottetown, but close to golf courses, beaches and services, this property is a great choice.
The owner was accessible and responsive when needed.

This cottage exceeds expectations. It’s beautiful and very clean. You find everything you need even games and toys for kids. The outdoor area is beautiful and very well maintained.
Communication with the host is very easy although you might not need to, because everything is clear in terms of checking-in and finding your way around the cottage.
I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay there again.

A fabulous spot to stay. Clean, comfortable and ideal as a basecamp for daily PEI hikes and excursions. The home was everything it indicated in the description. Thanks, Lisa!

This is our second time staying at Lisa's and it was just perfect. We had everything we needed on hand and thoroughly enjoyed having laundry access during our stay. The kitchen is well equipped. The kids enjoyed the large yard to run around and the hammocks/swings. We will be back!

Great base to explore PEI from. Convenient to nearby shopping, but nice quiet space to get away and enjoy some family time. Great outdoor space which the dog enjoyed exploring. Kids loved the bunk room and plenty of space to accommodate more than our family of four. Nice to enjoy sunrise from bedroom looking over the water. House was very well equipped and nicely decorated. Thanks for a great stay!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The grounds are meticulously manicured with plenty of seating, swings, and a fire pit outside, although given all the rain we were unable to be out as much as we would have liked due to the mosquitos. The sunset over the soybean field was beautiful. The big windows provide beautiful views of the water. So serene and peaceful. The house is spit spot clean and we found it to be very comfortable and inviting. The high end, modern conveniences and great craftsmanship and the decor was amazing. Lisa has blended clean and modern with antiques and her personal touch in a very classy way. we didn't even mind having a rainy day staying in to enjoy the place. The home is very well stocked, and Lisa is very generous leaving so many items from kitchen and cooking items to bath goods and even laundry detergent.
We really appreciate you sharing your place with us and if we are ever back in PEI we'll be knocking on your door again. Thanks so much!

We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children. Great location that was located close to Charlottetown and a quick drive to good beaches. Place had a great view of a cove that we could see high and low tide. Lots of leg room on the property that kept the 2 grand kids busy and one night ending with a small fire and production of s’mores. Place was supplied with everything needed in the kitchen. The ONLY down was one bathroom shared by the bunch. But this did not detract a lot. Definitely would come back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the 6 days. Lisa, the host, was responsive to questions and quick to respond. The house was big enough for 5 adults and a dog as we had overnight visitors. A couple with kids would be very comfortable. We wanted for nothing. The host had all amenities needed. Spices, coffee machine, cleaning detergents. It also had enough pots, pans, dishes, utensils, paper towels etc. for 8. Would gladly stay again.

We had the most wonderful stay here. There were five of us- parents, kids, grandma, and it was everything we would want. The house was immaculately clean, the view spectacular, peaceful setting, everything we needed to cook a meal including a brand new grill, chairs on the porch to drink coffee on in the morning. The mosquitoes were a bit burdensome, but nothing Off couldn't help with. We all felt relaxed and refreshed upon departure. We would definitely stay again! Thanks Lisa!

This is a beautiful property, with a rich family history lovingly cared for by a family member. I am a commercial designer and truly appreciated the well thought out details Lisa's provides her guests. The furnishings are extremely comfortable, the bed, sofa and higher end appliances were appreciated. There are multiple fans, many windows that provide natural light with beautiful views and the windows provide an amazing cross breeze when opened. I loved the pictures of the family home prior to the new build that currently occupies this property. Lisa also left a personalized note with family history, property details and she also pointed out the peregrine falcon nest that is at the waters edge. I love raptors and I was excited to watch the pair of them with our binoculars. My husband and I, along with our Collie, Aspen, enjoyed our stay at Lisa's family property. It was very welcoming and comfortable. It reminded us of our cottage along the shores of Lake Michigan in Harbor Springs, Michigan. We were thankful to have had the experience of staying at this property.

We were delighted with the peaceful sanctuary of this private space Everywhere we looked we were greeted by nature and respite. The home is well equipped and sweetly designed, and the property had everything we needed to feel at home. We could enjoy games, explore, rest, and plan for our island adventure. It was our first trip to P.E.I. and the location was not only close to a lovely sandy and warm beach at Canoe Cove (ideal for young families, since the tidal pools were warm and shallow filled with baby critters to catch and observe before a gorgeous sunset) but central to a lovely array of shoreline adventures within about an hour of driving through pastoral landscapes. We enjoyed experiencing day trips to Thunder Cove, North Rustico, Little Harbour and Basin Head, Summerside, Cavendish and, of course, our outings in Charlottetown. The New Glasgow Lobster suppers are about a 45 min. drive, Prim Point Chowder House and The Blue Mussel are about an hour drive from this home, and Victoria by the sea has lovely eateries 22 minutes away. Lisa and Jim were clear and helpful and the instructions and warm welcome which helped to make us feel immediately at home. We were so impressed by the clarity and ease and usability of this rental.

The cottage was amazing. It had everything you could ask for. The small decorating touches were appreciated.
It was very clean and exactly like it was advertised.

The cottage is very private on a beautiful piece of land. Our children loved playing down by the riverbank and watching the tide come in and out. The lawn was also great for flying kites on a windy day. The cottage also has Netflix and a great collection of movies for rainy, chilly evenings. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we needed for meals. The owner/host was very responsive - the VRBO website and app was down the day we were checking but I was thankfully able to find a phone number and she answered immediately and sent me all our check in details. Location was also close to grocery stores and not too far from Charlottetown.

This property is beautiful! Well maintained and exceptionally clean. It is very well appointed and has everything you need for vacation - games, books and an ample amount of kitchen utensils. The appliances are high end and there was an abundance of both bath and beach towels. The yard is large with hammocks and swings which my grand daughter loved! Beautiful views and lots of birds around. We loved it

Beautiful property with just great proximity to many spots we wanted to visit. We really loved the location so much. It did get pretty warm during the last couple of days during a heat wave but the many patio doors, windows, and the ceiling fans kept us comfortable. Come prepared for mosquitoes-this is not a property thing but a pei/seasonal thing to be aware of. There was bug spray and a little patio smoker to help at this home which was great. I would certainly recommend the stay overall: peaceful, beautiful, relaxing, well equipped home.

It was a amazing spot to relax and only be 10 minutes away from Charlottetown. We will be back for sure.

Charming well equipped cottage with beautiful water and landscape views. Great location for beaches and day trips around the island. We would finish our days relaxing outside at the campfire or on the porch. Lisa was very accommodating and quick to answer questions. Can’t wait to go back 💜

House was clean and our fur babies were welcome!
The little member (4 year old niece) had a great time on the tire swing and playing with the outdoor “toys” provided.
