The property was nice. Very quiet and relaxing. A bit of a distance from many of the provincial attractions but the island being relatively small, most were drivable in under 2 hours. The host was very responsive and mindful of privacy. Recommend especially for two families as each room has its own bathroom and TV.

Beautiful spacious century home! We loved the big kitchen and that every bedroom had its own bathroom.
We were a little surprised about the length of walk to the beach but it was still a lovely spot to enjoy a bonfire by the sea.
The deck could do with updating as some boards are a bit soft but overall it’s a great house and very peaceful.
Thank you for letting us stay!

It was exactly as it was shown on the site. We appreciated having our own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was awesome!! The internet was strong. It was great to have a washer and dryer. All appliances were top notch.
We were two grandmothers, a mother and two kids — 8 and 11. Even the kids often said “this is a great place”.
The beach was a great exploring beach. Very rocky which added to the adventure. In the pictures, the beach looks closer to the house than it is, but it’s a short walk out the back.
We hated to leave and would love to come back.

Very spacious, beautiful home on lovely property. Rocky beach great for rock climbing but not for swimming. Short drive to sandy beaches, towns, wineries and cideries. Excellent communication with host. Highly recommended.

The home is lovely!! We were a family of 5, traveling with grandparents to make 7 total. The 4 bedrooms each with a full bath and 1/2 bath downstairs was amazing!! Large kitchen, dining room and open living room gave plenty of space for us to gather. It was a short walk down path and stairs to a rocky beach, found lots of sea glass, interesting rocks and made dirt shirts!

Paul and Satu’s property in Guernsey Cove is an absolute gem. Spacious, bright, and immaculately clean, the place could not have been more perfect for our group. The rooms were fantastic, each with its own bathroom. It’s clear that Paul and Satu have given careful consideration to every detail of the stay. We hope to be back!

Quiet setting, lovely owners, large clean home with a bathroom for each of 4 bedrooms. Waterfront is private, not conducive to swimming but great to explore. Short drive to swimming beaches.

My group and I had a wonderful stay at Paul's cottage. Paul was a very kind host, making us feel very welcome. Whenever we needed anything, he went far beyond what we needed. The cottage was clean, convenient, well-equipped, and comfortable. I would most definitely visit again!

Old Winsloe House is a grand country home with a modern Maritime vibe. Sparkling clean, even bigger than we expected! There is great living room with plenty of really lovely comfortable furniture, a large sunny dining area, and spacious well-appointed kitchen. All bedrooms with en suites a real bonus. The deck invites you to sit and enjoy the outdoors any time of day. We appreciated the groomed path through trees and fields to the private and beautiful beach area.
We hadn’t realized the owners live within steps of the house, sharing the driveway and parking area. This is ideal if there are any issues and they made an effort to be unobtrusive.
This is a wonderful property particularly if you are travelling with friends or family. We loved it and would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Location in eastern PEI
Overlooking Nova Scotia this 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom 100 year recently renovated seaside house was a perfect place to stay for a family of 8. Great big fully equipped kitchen, big dining and living room and each bedroom had there own bathroom. There's a small private rocky beach about 100 yards from the house. But If you want to go to the great beaches in PEI it's only 30 minutes to 1 hours drive. There's a fully equipped gas barbecue, cable TV, Wi-Fi, etc. laundry facilities, big deck and lots of patio chairs to see the ocean in morning with a cup of coffee. The property manager Paula (thanks for everything) is only a phone call and she will take care of the problem.

Spacious and updated
What a lovely property! It was so big and easily accommodated my family. Also great location, right down the street from Beach Point. Thanks Paul !

This is a beautiful, tastefully renovated century old home.
The home has been renovated while maintaining the charm of the era when it was built.
There is a four piece bath in each of the four bedrooms. The kitchen is very large and extremely well equipped.
The home would be well suited for four golfing couples. There are lots of great courses within an hours drive.
The shore is on the property and extremely beautiful but really not that suitable for swimming. A nice addition to the shore area would be a gazebo.
This place is beautiful and well equipped but not so pretentious that you don’t feel as though you can vacation comfortably in it.
I recommend it highly.

Fantastic getaway!
My family and I just spent a week at the Olde Winsloe House and could not have had a better experience. The house is located on a very large, quiet lot and the house is superb. Every room was bright and immaculately clean. Each bedroom had very comfy beds and lovely bathrooms. The kitchen is very large and equipped with beautiful appliances and accessories that surpassed all our needs.
The property manager, Paula, is very helpful and responsive if you have any questions.
There is a lovely little beach down a short path on the property and a bigger, beautiful sandy beach only a four minute drive away. The cottage is a perfect location for sunning on the quiet deck or going to play in the waves. We could not have been happier and will be sure to return.

Top of the bill

Beautiful house in a wonderful location
We stayed in Old Winsloe House with another family - four adults and three kids in total - and it was a wonderful experience! The house had recently been sold to a new owner and we were his first guests. When we arrived Paul told us to let him know if anything was missing as he had tried to think of everything, but was sure that he had not. We soon found a few things missing, such as handsoap and garbage cans in the bathrooms, and when we came back later that same day Paul had supplied these along with bedside lamps. The house was spacious with a well stocked kitchen and there was plenty of room for all seven of us.
The location is secluded, but the coast around this area of the island is quite spectacular with red sand and rolling fields. The house has direct beach access down a set of stairs at the rear of the property, and there is a more accessible beach a hundred metres down the road. Although tucked away in the southeast corner of the island, almost anywhere in PEI is within an hour and a half's drive. We visited the north shore beaches, Charlottetown, and several lighthouses. We had a particularly fine dinner at the restaurant next to Point Prim Lighthouse (Point Prim Chowder House). Golfing is also nearby with courses for all levels within half an hour's drive.
We had a lovely time here and would highly recommend it. Paul was a responsive and helpful owner. If we return to PEI we will certainly be renting this house again!

Best we've found in 14 years in the area!
I've been hosting a golf weekend in eastern PEI for guys from all around the world for 14 years now and each year we've struggled to find good accommodations in the Murray Harbour area ... until we found the old Winsloe House. We rented the entire house and the carriage house and it was perfect for 5 guys - each with his own bedroom. Despite being 100 years old, the house has been impeccably renovated and modernized with all new furniture. It sits on a property that has direct access to the shore and the ocean and is in an area that is a bit of hidden gem in PEI. For our purposes, only 30 minutes to great golf at Brudenell/Dundarave. The host was very attentive to our needs and very responsive. We're definitely coming back next year!
