We were a party of 10… family and friends traveling from WA, IN and AK for a ski/snowboard trip. The home was as advertised and very comfortable for our party. The host was very responsive. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and serve all 10 of us without issue.

Our group loved the house - beautifully furnished, equipped and cared for. Best ski house we’ve ever rented!

Great place to get off the grid!
Aside from a few points of feedback, the place was clean and well stocked with the appliances you’d need to enjoy the space.
Everything was as-listed online and the space overall was very conducive to group activities.

We have been coming to Big Sky for the past four summers….always in Moonlight Basin on the mountain…1-2 weeks in July. We just finished two weeks with 7 of us in Swift Bear and we loved it and had a wonderful time.
The house is great, plenty of room to spread out and the main floor living/kitchen/dining is open and wonderful for gathering. The patio and deck is great, and the hot tub worked well and is very large. The bathrooms and water pressure and hot water were all great…very important especially with large families. The laundry room is very large and again, important with big groups/families. The house was spotless….felt very new. The garage was wonderful for storing/hanging waders, boots, etc. the utility room off the garage was also great after long days hiking, to leave boots, clothes, etc. overall, a very good setup. One of the few houses with AC in Big Sky and was important given the heatwave we experienced 7/3-17…..temps we’ve never seen but the house was very comfortable when we need AC.
Location is good and close to Beehive and Moonlight….had foxes and mule deer and a juvenile black bear in the neighborhood…always cool!
Big Sky Rentals couldn’t have been better…very attentive and quick and easy to communicate with.
The house was extremely well stocked (recommend a new vacuum cleaner) with everything needed.
The greatest compliment…we would return without hesitation.

Big Sky Vacation Rentals called us a week before our stay and told us they are working on getting the jacuzzi fixed for our stay. They said there might be a chance it will not be working and they will refund us the fees for the jacuzzi and credit $50 a night. During our stay, I texted management to see what the progress was with the Jacuzzi and they text me back that they are not planning on fixing it for the season. Which was a bummer. 14 days after our stay, we still have not received our refund and after talking to management, it’s company Policy to take 30 to 45 days for a refund. No problem taking money, but issuing a refund somehow takes an act of Congress. Bad company policy.

House had a great location but we rented it based on being able to use hot tub after skiing. We asked the week before if it was functional prior to renting. We rented the house after confirmation. We were texted the day we were due in that it was not operational. Very misleading. Still have yet to hear about the discount rate and credit. Otherwise house was as described and in a great location.

Wonderful property!
Great house for a family stay. They have everything you need to cook and have a comfortable trip away from home. The management company was always responsive and quickly got back to me with any questions I had prior and during our stay. Very organized and had plenty of towels/ cleaning supplies/ space to store snow gear. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future!

Amazing house for a family ski vacation!
Our family loved the time we spent in Big Sky at 25 Swift Bear. The house was perfect for our crew, from it’s architecture and design to the stock of supplies needed for every room to the spectacular and ever changing views of Lone Peak that we enjoyed every morning, it truly made our time together amazing and easy to enjoy. The company managing the property, Big Sky Vacation Rentals, were very welcoming and extremely responsive with all communication. We will definitely be back!

Swift Bear Chalet - Big Sky, MO - GREAT!
The house was absolutely stunning. Extremely clean and decorated beautifully. All amenities that you could possibly ask for to prepare meals along with a great big dining table. Our hot tub did not work... that was the only problem. We were reimbursed $50 per night because of this and the management group of the property were extremely thorough. We also had a huge slide of snow fall off the roof and onto our rental car! It caused significant damage... we submitted a claim to our personal insurance..... but we are not sure of the result yet. House was amazing and would recommend without reservation despite the avalanche on our car and the hot tub!

Just gorgeous!
Our party of 6, 4 adults and 2 teenagers enjoyed a wonderful week at Swift Bear Chalet. It is beautifully decorated, the kitchen and laundry are well stocked with cleaning products, store cupboard essentials and crockery. The bedrooms and bathrooms are top end quality and the views are stunning. We all wished we had longer to enjoy both the house and the surrounding area - wonderful.

Couldn't have been better!
We've rented a lot of homes over the years, and Swift Bear Chalet tops them all as a composite of comfort, amenities, location, and staff support. The house is perfect for our group of 7, though it can sleep more without difficulty. Being that it's a mile from the entrance to Big Sky Resort, you're 5 minutes from the action but feel quite secluded. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with spices, condiments, oils, flour, etc, so grocery purchases can be limited to main ingredients, a very nice touch. New flat screen TVs with Dish in every bedroom, a fabulous whole-house sound system, nice big (and clean!) hot tub, fireplaces inside and out - it's just beautifully put together. Lastly, the staff at the rental agency are extremely accommodating and helpful. We really couldn't ask for more, and I know we'll stay here again.

family of four, outdoor adventure athletes
We were very happy with everything about this home. The home is beautifully decorated, intelligently outfitted with high end sound system, heating, appliances, furniture, ect. The location has a wonderful view of the mountain and is conveniently located close to moonlight basin and big sky. The ski out is easy with a little direction, however the ski in is do able but requires more effort to find the house. We stayed here for a ski vacation with our two teen age sons and actually enjoyed cooking in, and all the amenities of the home. The house was completely outfitted with everything and there was backup of all neccesities. No expense spared. Very happy renting this home and the management company was very easy and accomodating.

Family vacation in Big Sky
My family and several of my son's friends stayed at the Swiss Bear Chalet 12-27 thru 1-4-14. There were 11 of us total and we could not have picked a better place to spend our vacation. The home was warm, cozy, offered spectacular views and well stocked with all we needed for our group. Our group consisted of skiers and snowboarders and we were all able to ski in and out during our stay. However we took full advantage of the free shuttle that was provided to us and was promptly picked up and returned at the end of the day. The home was BEAUTIFUL with not a detail overlooked. The location was quiet and just a 5 minute car ride to Moonlight or Big Sky. At one point my sister-in-law said, " I feel like I live here!" Our group enjoyed downhill and cross country skiing. We cross countried at Lone Mountain Ranch which was superb. We also spent a day snow shoeing at the Ranch. The dinners and lunches at the Ranch are the best! Our other favorite is Buck's T4. Can't be beat! Thank you to the owners of this beautiful property for sharing it with our family.
