The venue is stunning and is as represented. The house was gorgeous, at one time, but suffers from lots of deferred maintenence, some of which such as the pool, pool deck & pool tiles, prior reviews reveal, have been at issue for a long time. The house was not well stocked. The only spices were salt and pepper . . . . It would not take much to restore this house to its original condition, but the owner needs to put resources into this residence before the area is reclaimed by the jungle. As for the hosts, Diego was great and incredibly responsive. Brian, not so much.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The views and scenery were breathtaking, and the house is beautiful. Amazing variety of wildlife. Brian was very helpful with any questions we had and booking tours for us. Overall amazing experience.

We stayed in this beautiful home for three nights during our recent trip to Costa Rica. As other reviews have stated, you must have a four-wheel-drive, and I opted to let my husband drive to the house as I get a little nervous. Brian was very attentive, and met us at the Entrance to the gated community to show us the way to the home. Although we did not see any monkeys, we did see, iguanas, beautiful butterflies, and birds.

We absolutely loved this place! It's in the middle of a jungle, you can see monkeys at the trees next to the property. There is a beautiful view and a private pool which we enjoyed. The house is very spacious, clean and beautifully maintained. We stayed at several places during our trip to Costa Rica, but this one for sure stood out for us and our kids. Brian, the host of the house was super helpful and friendly, the best guide on local attractions. Whenever we needed any help, he provided an instant response and gave us the best advice. It made such a difference on our stay. We enjoyed having him and his Family join us for the baby turtle release. Brian has a great talent of connecting visitors with the locals. Also, when you visit Quepos - Cafetto is a must! Great food, service and the best smoothies ever! We miss everything about our stay! Thank you Brian!

The property was beautiful, house was clean with decent beds. Did see some monkeys one morning. Only major complaint is that the house is very far into the jungle, about 2km down a bad dirt road, after a different gravel road. So just keep In mind, it’s about 15 min to the pavement. 4wd is a must.

This property was off the normal path, and required off-road experience, but was well worth the drive. The home was clean, and had everything that was needed upon arrival.
We did do some shopping in town to use the well stocked kitchen, and all worked as necessary.
The pool was enjoyable and clean. No issues.

Brian was an amazing host, available, and helpful.
This home give you the best of both worlds. We loved being far enough to experience the rainforest, yet close enough to drive to the beach and near by towns. Brian booked all of our activities based on what we wanted to do. The home is beautiful.
Brian, Thank you for your hospitality my family and I had an absolutely amazing time.
Thank You

Loved the location and solitude of this home. We had a 4x4 to explore the area and access home with ease. Property managers were fantastic! Always available and promptly assisted with everything from booking tours to dinner reservations and house needs. We spent most of our time on the two huge decks and in the pool. Our only encouragement is for pool and pool deck repairs - deck needs replacing and pool needs repainting and tile replacement. The water was clean and refreshing however. We loved our stay.

Outstanding
Everything about the house was great! Perfect location with an outstanding view for somebody who wants to stay away from crowds. Brian, property manager was very attentive and great in giving ideas crafted to your needs and interests. He has a great knowledge about what to see in Costa Rica. If you are planing to do some fishing you may want to ask him beforehand as he is a fisherman himself. Our fishing trip was planed ahead of time, but we took his advice about seeing coffee plantation in Dota and it was unforgettable experience!

Great house!
This has was everything we were hoping for and more. The house was pristine and well prepared with everything we could have wanted. To top it off, Brian the concierge made everything incredibly easy. I can’t recommend this place enough and I look forward to coming back in the future.
Thanks again Brian!

Monkeys Monkeys Monkeys!!!
This was a fabulous stay, and we were really excited about the wildlife! We saw monkeys each morning from the amazing windows that allow you to live in the jungle surrounding this home. The bedding/linens were quality and everything was clean and comfortable. The house is super well cared for. The kitchen is not well stocked with good knives or cookware, but we made do. Our only complaint was the poor or lack of directions to the house. It is in an under built development with a gate...and someone meets you at the gate to guide you to the home...none of this was explained so on top of having trouble finding the road off the highway, it was super confusing to find the turn off the road. Ask for all of this info before you get there and have to manoeuver spotty cell service and poor directions!

Casa Vista Pacifica ....... Incredible!
We (myself and my two boys 11 & 15) thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casa Vista Pacifica! The purpose of our (10) day trip was for fishing and adventure.
Our trip was significantly enhanced by having Brian as our concierge. He provided a level of support that was very much appreciated. Being in a foreign country and unaware of the local means and ways, he was always there with suggestions and able to answer questions day or night. He is a native of Quepos and knows the area inside and out. We were pleased he was able to join us on an inshore fishing trip as well as we enjoyed having lunch with his wife and beautiful daughter.
The listing mentioned the need for a 4x4 vehicle. We were very happy that we had followed their recommendation and suggest this to other renters.
The house is located in the a majestic jungle setting. The property and home are absolutely beautiful. We experienced incredible wild life and landscape. The home provided for all of our needs. It is completely equipped with everything to prepare meals and wash clothes. The architecture is beautiful and excellent for enjoying the environment.
We hope to have the opportunity to return again!!!!!!!
Thank you so much Brian......Pura Vida!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

View was very nice. Privacy was wonderful. Noise level was only the jungle itself.
This home was spacious and clean. It's deck and pool were very nice accents to enjoy the privacy and jungle views. The layout of the home isn't ideal with the primary living and kitchen upstairs and no access to the pool via a stairwell. Also the only phone is located in the kitchen which is impossible to reach if you're on the first level, in the bed rooms, on the deck, or around the pool. Another should be placed in the master bed room or in the entry/foyer area. This property also requires a good 20 minute drive on bumpy, dusty roads that are further complicated by uphill transisition closer to the residence itself that clearly require a 4*4. The last portion of the drive should really be better maintained in that we were here during the dry season and it was very washed out.
Our least favorite part about the experience with this lodging was the services we'd received by the property management team. Anne was always very easy to reach but some important things were not followed through with including our luggage retrieval, a GPS replacement, and timely provision of a beach umbrella. These three lapses of assistance after being promised they'd be managed by Anne and/or our concierge were simply poor service.

Beautiful secluded location, super clean and well equipped
We stayed with our two sons aged 6.5 and 8 for Winter Break and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. The house is secluded, very clean & well equipped - even shampoo, soap, coffee, washing capsules & dishwasher capsules were included! The transaction was very smooth with Anne Lil & Brian’s service during our visit was outstanding. Brian is always available, though never intrusive. His tour recommendations were perfect and he checked in via message each evening to see if there was anything we needed. After a full day of adventures our children spent hours enjoying the pool! You definitely need an SUV to access the house as described, but for us that just added to the fun & excitement. If your looking to escape the hustle & bustle this place is definitely worth visiting :)

great views
Southwest side of the house is all glass, with killer views of the jungle and sunsets.
Ann and her staff are "shirt off their back type of people" who'll become your good friends.

Very private villa, we saw monkey's while being in the pool!
very nice place, spacious enought for our family, garage is a "plus"... you absolutely need a 4x4 to get there, no question!!
host were very polite and pleasant. Anne Lill replied to our questions quickly prior to getting in Costa Rica. Very smooth transaction.
I recommend it!

Amazing house surrounded by wild Costa Rican jungle
We spent Christmas here with friends and had an amazing time enjoying sunsets, meals, monkeys, night sounds and stars. The house is beautiful, better than the pictures show because it’s impossible to get a photo from the front given the thickness of the jungle there. That’s what gives this place such s unique experience-hurry and stay here before the area gets developed! Brian is so friendly and helpful too!!! An experience we won’t soon forget.

It's A World Of It's Own!
If you want to the full experience of living with nature, without needing to give up any modern-day amenities... This is the place for you!! We truly enjoyed this Beautiful Home & It's Amazing Views!!
Brian was extremely attentive, he took his time explaining many of the different tour options, as well as giving us names and directions of beaches & waterfalls in the area that we could explore. We will definitely come and visit again!

Great property!
My family of 4 enjoyed our stay in this house. Anne-Lil and Brian, who manage the property were very responsive. Brian was able to book activities for us. The highlight was Brian volunteering to take my son on a mini-fishing trip on the nearby river that runs by his house.
The location of this house is one with nature. If you like a bit of isolation and the experience of living on top the rainforest, this house will fit perfectly. We saw birds, frogs, iguanas, butterflies (including the Blue Morpho) around the house. Manuel Antonio park is about 35 mins away.
The house itself is new/modern and had all the amenities a family would need (dishwasher, laundry, even an electric kettle). The highlight of the house are the panoramic patio doors on the top floor with a view of the rainforest and the pacific far away.
Make sure to rent a 4x4 vehicle to get here. The road worsened during our stay due to the rains and some of the steepness requires 4x4 capability.
