This classic craftsman 4 bedroom/4 bath home sleeps 8. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The first floor bedroom features a sweet Scandinavian pine double bed, and shower bath with artisan tile. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with its own private full bath; one bedroom features a four-poster queen pillowtop bed, and the other has a classic Craftsman quarter-sawn oak double bed. Also upstairs is the spacious master suite, which offers a king bed, window seat, sitting area, TV/DVD, ceiling fan, and french doors to outdoor balcony/sun deck with chaise lounge. The luxurious master bath features artisan tilework, marble countertops, double sinks, spacious shower with a steam shower, and deep soaking tub for two with jets and lights. Many windows, so it's light and airy throughout, with pleasant ocean breezes, birdsong in the morning, and gorgeous sunsets from the balcony.
You will live in the kitchen/family room, which offers ample space for all to cook, eat, and relax together. Gourmet kitchen features cherry cabinetry, granite counters, farm house sink, subzero refrigerator with ice maker, double convection ovens, wolf six-burner range with griddle, microwave, dishwasher, plenty of counter space, and pretty much any kitchen utensil you may need to whip up waffles for breakfast or margaritas by the pool. Counter sits 4; table sits 4 but can expand to accommodate 8 (not to mention the formal dining room, which also seats 8). The family room opens onto the covered patio with gas grill, outdoor dining, the hot tub and your own private swimming pool. Enjoy movies on the widescreen HD TV using streaming services or blu-ray DVDs. Card table, board games and puzzles abound. The formal living room offers a quiet spot to relax with a good book by the fireplace or play the piano.
This house features a perfect village location: easily walk to Orange Avenue for groceries, drugstore, banks, shops, restaurants, and the vintage Village Theater for movies. Walk to Spreckels Park (especially nice for Sunday evening concerts in the park), the public library, the city tennis courts (or library tennis courts)-- even the golf course (catch the July 4th fireworks!). Bike everywhere-- the beach, the ferry landing, across the Bay, down the Strand-- biking is the way to go during the summer in Coronado, and our convenient location makes everything accessible. Take an evening stroll to the Hotel Del Coronado, only a few blocks away; nearby you can rent sailboats, motorboats, jet skis or kayaks on the Bay. At Glorietta Bay Park, check out Coronado's boathouse, which offers stand-up paddleboards and kayaks for rent. San Diego's world-class attractions are just 10 minutes across the bridge: SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and more.
