Fantastic security. The US Capitol Police / Supreme Court kiosk is literally directly across the street, overlooking the entrance to this property. Walk to countless restaurants, National Mall, Union Station, and orange and blue lines of the Metro.
Ask about parking options PRIOR to booking please. Professionally managed. This is a large studio. It was a one bedroom but to make it more open and modern we took down the walls and made it a large open studio. YouTube TV with 80 channels (and streaming) plus HBO free, plus smart TV with built in Netflix and Amazon Prime for use with your accounts.
Combo washer/dryer in apartment. Full laundry room for the building is down the hall.
Late check in is fine, as this building has electronic locks.
Outstanding security. Charming historic village feel in the middle of the city. Great restaurants. Great metro access.
Four blocks to metro orange/blue and red lines. Union Station train station is four blocks. Union Station is home to the major sightseeing tours. Capital Bikeshare kiosk is a couple minutes walk.
Uber and Lyft and cheap and very easy to get here.
DC Circulator metro rapid bus transit also very close by.
Perfect spot to use as home base to explore DC. Great neighborhood for longer term stay as well. Like many buildings of this era in DC the building heat/air conditioning system that either heats or cools, depending on time of year. It does not do both simultaneously. If you have any questions just let us know.
Inquire about parking PRIOR to booking please. There is very little need to bring a vehicle, as there is great metro and bikeshare access, and rideshares are inexpensive and readily available. Most places you want to go to in DC won't have parking when you get there. 24/7 street parking near this property is possible with a street parking pass, which can be obtained from the DC DMV with a copy of a lease and vehicle information. It costs around $250 for a six month pass. Free street parking with no pass needed is free and open to all every night, all weekend, and two hours each weekday. We have about five offstreet parking spaces in the immediate area. We rent them from neighbors. IF a paid space is available they usually go for $300 a month. Union Station parking garage is five blocks away and can do monthly rentals including oversize vehicles for around $300 a month.
A word about rates:
Since every booking is different the rates listed are an approximation. Rates are based on length of stay, specific dates needed, amenities requested, etc. Bookings less than 91 days are subject to the DC lodging tax of 15.95%. SINCE EVERY INQUIRY IS DIFFERENT AND THE BIGGEST FACTOR IN PRICE IS THE SPECIFIC DATES CHOSEN AND LENGTH OF STAY RATES MAY BE HIGHER OR LOWER THAN WHAT IS POSTED. PLEASE INQUIRE SO WE CAN DISCUSS PRIOR TO SENDING A BOOKING REQUEST.
Fall and winter months are very high demand, moreso this year than ever before as this is the first year that many federal agencies and private employers are bringing people back to DC, and they are making up for lost productivity during Covid.
And of course it's a presidential election year.
Most furnished housing providers in DC will only take bookings for three months or longer during these months. We will do less, but the rates do go up. And generally we try to match an incoming booking with an apartment that is available within a week or so of the requested date. For instance if you are seeking a month rental beginning July 1 we would want to match your request with a property available in very late June or July 1. If the property you inquired about seems to have an availability date that may not match up then you can always check HERE see all properties and their available dates.
Our average booking is around four to six months. We are primarily a longer term lodging provider. We can do shorter, but in the furnished housing business rates go up for shorter stays.
Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.

Great stay!
We had a great time while in DC and the communication from the owner/manager of the property was excellent, from the first inquiry to the final day. The property was exactly where we thought, was clean, and big enough for the 2 of us. The washer/dryer being right in the room was definitely a bonus! The only suggestion would be to possibly update/fix some of the cosmetic stuff paint patches and heating vents throughout! It was a great studio and in a great location!!

Wonderful Spring Stay
The property was exactly as described and in a beautiful neighborhood that is close to everything you would want to see in DC. Imagine looking out the front to see the steps of the Supreme Court! The owner responded quickly to all questions. It was lovely to have a washer/dryer in the unit. My only suggestion would be to consider updating the mattress as if dips in towards the middle. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic
A very nice studio with full kitchen, the location can’t be any better. Quick and easy communication with the owners. Separate entrance facing Supreme Court is a nice touch. Overall, beats a hotel stay by a mile.

Loved it. Cant believe location.
The listing said it was super close to the Capitol and Supreme Court. They aren't lying. It's as close as you can possibly get.
LOCATION LOCATION... The apartment was open, very clean, and good for the two of us. Everything was nicely done. Comfortable bed and really nice sheets. It was nice that this was a real furnished place and not just some person's place with all their food and clothes and junk in it.
Stay here if you can.
