This beautiful year round lake house is within minutes of local attractions such as wineries, craft breweries, Cummings Nature Center, hiking trails, and ski resorts. The house sits on 100 feet of lake front property with a private dock on the eastern shore of Honeoye Lake allowing for breezes, breathtaking sunsets and a front row seat to spectacular fall foliage. Honeoye Lake is known as one of he best fishing spots in the Finger Lakes region. This house is nestled in the hills approximately 20 minutes from Canandaigua, 40 minutes from Hill Cumorah, 45 minutes from downtown Rochester and 10 minutes from the town of Naples, NY. The house is family friendly, with recent updates including hardwood flooring.

Had a lovely weekend in this cute lakeside house. It was bigger than expected and had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The view of the lake was beautiful! It was a little rainy so we didn't get a chance to use the kayaks or the deck. But the deck was roomy and would have been a great spot to hang out. Location was great. The little town of Honeyoe had a nice grocery store, bakery, and brewery. We took day trips to Watkins Glen and Rochester which weren't too far away. The owners were very responsive. We had a little trouble finding the key when we showed up but they were easy to reach by phone and helped us out.

This house was the perfect quiet spot for our family to enjoy a weekend away! The wrap around porch has an excellent view of the lake. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. Local marina is nearby for boat rentals. We will definitely come back!

The home was very clean and had plenty of towels, inner tubes, a few kayaks and canoes. Views were beautiful. There were no food items- salt/pepper, coffee, condiments, etc- but there was a small grocery store and dollar general nearby. As for the lake, I felt very skeptical about cleanliness. We come from Lake Erie, and it wasn’t much better than that. A lot of algae and seaweed. We did rent a boat for half a day, which was fairly affordable and fun. Overall, we had a good time, but would probably pick a different lake in the future that was a little nicer to swim in. The town is pretty much a ghost town, but is fine if you’re looking to unplug and just stay at the home. The property owner was SUPER helpful and responsive, which I really appreciated!

Beautiful view of the lake. Nice quiet neighborhood. A/C in bedroom and fans were helpful to sleep at night due to no central air. Kitchen supplies were helpful. Very clean. If you don’t mind not having A/C I would recommend this house. Owner very helpful

Our family enjoyed our stay including kayaking on the lake and fire side at night. The property manager was responsive to any issues that arose. The lake bottom definitely requires water shoes as it is rocky with lots of seaweed. The driveway is steep but well maintained. The kitchen had the basics for all the meals we planned. Nice layout inside and out for our family of 5, we enjoyed the shade and the sun, the hammock and the dock. The fire pit was wet and took quite a bit of effort to get going, but friendly neighbours helped with getting things started. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

This lake front cottage was a perfect property for us to stay while we vacationed in the Finger Lakes. The location was quiet and relaxing this time of year. The house was very clean and very generously equipped with items to make our stay comfortable. The dock was used daily for fishing, the fire pit was a welcome spot for evening camp fires and the view from the large deck was outstanding! If we were ever to revisit the Finger Lakes, this cottage would be our choice to stay!

This is the second time we have rented this property and it is better than advertised. It is a perfect location on lake with amazing sunsets. My teenagers and I enjoyed swimming and kayaking and breakfast on the deck was made more fantastic by an eagle that flew overhead on several mornings. I highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed staying at this property so much! The house and location were perfect. It had such beautiful views of the water. We appreciated having the canoe, kayaks, life jackets, and fishing poles. We were able to relax and keep the kids busy during our stay. The house had everything we needed and was very clean! We had so much fun we did not want to leave.

if you could use a week of downtime to recharge and avoid some of life's hub-bub and keep things more simple, this is a nice place to do that. There is much to be said for being able to chill by the water and re-orient yourself to a slower pace of things. And if you *do* want to venture out, nothing is really that far away with gorgeous countryside in between it all, depending on how you get "there".

What an amazing, relaxing house! My husband and I spent three nights with our four year old and 1.5 year old, and the place was perfect-- so comfortable and well-equipped. I wasn't sure how accessible the water would be for the kids, but they loved splashing around in the shallow water off the dock. The house itself was perfect for hanging out, we loved dinners on the deck, and the surrounding area was so fun. You won't be sorry if you book this house!

The house was very comfortable. The view of the lake was fantastic. We spent so much time on the deck we did not even turn the TV on. We utilized the grill instead of cooking inside, because we did not want to leave the deck. A couple of nights we did cook inside due to the nature of the meal. We did have a slight problem one day. We contacted the owners and they responded immediately and resolved the problem without any delay or inconvenience to us. If I make one suggestion, add a frying pan and medium sauce pan and the kitchen would be perfect.

My husband and I just needed a place to getaway to and forget about the worries of the world..and this was perfect! The view of the lake is so lovely and calming. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We did not visit any attractions in the area, due to COVID, but we would love to revisit in the future. Beautiful part of the country.

Gorgeous views of the lake, loved using the fire-pit, big grill, canoe and kayaks. Would definitely book this place again because it has everything you would need to have a great time. It was very clean and organized. It had towels, bedsheets, cutleries, anything you would need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

The pictures don't do justice to the amazing views this house offers. The deck is perfect for eating, catching a little shade or entertaining. The bottom of the property is a good size for lawn chairs and a cold drink. The water is shallow enough by the dock for any children looking for a dip. And the house comes with all you need. Chairs, canoes, kayaks fishing poles, a grill, even a hammock. Would definitely rent again.

The atmosphere was pure relaxation and we took advantage of it!! The kayaks and dock were great. We fished every day!! Something we hadn’t done in years. The only thing I suggest is to trim back trees and shrubs. We have a large vehicle and my husband had to trim back some in the driveway as not to scratch the truck. And the trees in the back of house could be trimmed to maximize the amazing view!!! Besides that, it was a great place !!
