Nice rooms and comfy beds. And close to town and on the golf course. Fun to watch golfers

This place was perfect! Spacious, comfortable beds, garage access, and stayed nice and cool. We loved it and hope to come back next year. Thank you for sharing your home.

Loved the layout. So many beds. Clean, quiet. We love to golf so being on the golf course is a bonus! We had quick access to get to the course with a friends golf cart. Best part is the twin baby deer sleeping the hot afternoon away right up against the house in the shade. Would totally stay here again. Thanks!

Good afternoon,
Overall the house was okay. The reason for the 3 stars are as follows:
-The towels in the bathroom under the sink were damp in both bathrooms.
-In the front bathroom the toilet did not work initially. I was able to get the float to work by tapping on it, but it seems the seal for the float was sticking open and not allowing the water to fill the tank.
-The living room furniture was not very comfortable and out dated. The couch and chair were slip covered but were dirty.
-The location was fantastic and close to everything. We were able to hike, swim, kayak, fish and play golf. We love coming to McCall year round.
-An added bonus were all the deer in the back yard. We daily saw 3 mommas and 5 fawns. We love to watch these beautiful animals. Our little boys loved seeing the deer daily!

This home is well laid out for 3 couples. And the cleaners do a good job. It is a great location.
The front and back yards are unwatered, and overgrown, and the pictures used are obviously from when the home was new. The pond pictured in the back yard is just a dry hole lined with rocks in a weed-filled, dried out lawn. We were still able to enjoy the back deck in the late afternoon.

Overall the property was as described and was great for our small family. Having said that there were many furniture items in need of replacement. The furniture in the living room was dated and broken and down right uncomfortable.
The location to the golf course was lovely though.

This house is very clean and comfortable! We enjoyed our time in the house. It is right beside the golf course and we were able to take a nice walk on the path. It was fun to see the deer walking around.
Thank you for a nice stay!

Nice place

The booking, sign in was great. The location is exceptional in that it is close to Ponderosa State Park and situated adjacent to a golf course. It felt like a cabin in the woods. The place is dated but clean and well stocked. What irritates me is the listing said a gas fireplace. Foolish me I took that to mean "working". The lack of honesty is disappointing but seems more common today.

We enjoyed the Timber Inn. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect for our family. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to McCall and Brundage Ski Resort. The owners were responsive prior to our arrival and during our stay.

We booked this property 6-months in advance strictly for the A/C unit. Upon arriving at the property, we found out the A/C unit was broken. There were box fans that we were told to put in the windows at night and that the property would cool down. Unfortunately, that was not the case as it was still 85-degrees inside the property at midnight and high-70s in the mornings. Aside from the A/C, it was obvious the property was not maintained very well as there were very large hornet nests at both the garage and front door entrances. Aside from the wasps and A/C, the interior of the property was filthy and had stained carpet and dead bugs throughout. There was one towel available in the master bath and NO extra pillowcases for the extra pillows (GROSS!!!). To say this was a disappointment would be an insult to the word disappointment. I understand things happen...however...the lack of help from Vacasa's end has been unacceptable. I would highly recommend staying elsewhere and perhaps through a different hosting service.

The location is on the Fairway of the McCall Public Golf course. We enjoyed the large patio but unfortunately the owner has not upgraded and patio area with any decent furniture. The charcoal BBQ has seen better days. Due to the location on the fairway, you do get errant balls regularly. The pond in the back yard is a nice touch however it was a breeding ground for mosquitoes and was black. There were no chlorine tabs available to help clearing the pond up. The deer did roam through the yard which was a nice treat. Sadly, the furniture inside the house is as poor of condition ( used ,stained and old) as the outdoor furniture. The couches had stains, dog hair and we're filthy with food debris left in the cushions. When we covered the furniture with blankets from the closet we realized they were covered in dog hair and not washed. Most of the blankets in the closets were not clean. Food debris was left on floors and tables and in couches. We ended up stripping all the beds and washing the sheets and blankets. I contacted Vacasa only to be told that a ticket and case was opened but despite a couple of texts, no one ever followed up. The split floor plan was nice and the neighborhood charming but both neighbors on each side have not taken care of their homes so when you open the east side blinds you end up looking at the neighbors junk pile on his patio. The home to the west, had boarded up windows, an old water heater stored on the patio and about 3 feet of un cut grass. Regrettably, the Timber Inn gets a POOR rating and I would not recommend this home. I was charged a cleaning fee only to walk into a filthy dirty rental. Vacasa also gets 2 stars for lack of service and communication. No one has called me or reached out to address the matter. There are other property management companies in McCall that may offer better service.

The Home was well appointed with tasteful interior. Plenty of sleeping arrangements. Would like to see more information about what supplies are provided such as coffee etc. I communicated problems we encountered with the property manager. The owner should know that the house is not being cleaned. My cleaning deposit was refunded. The cleaning crew needs to be replaced.

McCall Winter Snow Sculpture Adventure
We arrived to a nice warm, comfortable home with great beds and showering facilities. The open kitchen/family room were great for our gathering. It is close to town but still there were deer wandering about in the Winter Wonderland. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Dirty and Disappointing
This property has potential because the layout and location are nice, but the furnishings and beds are stained, old, and uninviting. The floors were filthy (our black feet were the proof) and the toilet in the main bathroom didn't always flush so you'd have to manually lift the thing in the tank. With a deep cleaning and some updates, this property could be great!

Nice house
If you come to snowmobile, keep in mind there is NO parking for trailers. Luckily the neighbors weren't home and we used there driveway. House was ok, tv was difficult to run. Not much for spices and the kitchen was a tad unorganized. Comfy beds tho!

Pro's - The house is well laid-out and beautiful, the location is great - very close to town and other attractions and the house was very clean. It was nice to have A/C as we were there in August and we appreciated the washer & dryer. Con's - The furnishings and the amenities need some attention. The furniture, including the mattresses are old and uncomfortable and should be replaced. The kitchen amenities are cheap and worn out. The bed linens, excluding the sheets, are decades-old and worn out. The non-working fountain/pond in the backyard was gross and needs to be fixed so that it isn't a stagnant pond or just removed completely. The wifi was very slow, @ 2mbps - bring your own hotspot if you need to telecommute. Overall - Vacations are expensive and should offer an elevated, special experience. This could be a great vacation rental, but the owner(s) needs to step up their game..a lot. For the money, I would stay elsewhere.

Great spot!
Great little spot on the McCall golf course. We really loved having AC this year with it being so hot! Not a lot of rentals around there have that option. Nice layout and accommodating for kids. Will be back!

Very unclean and a lot of deferred maintenance
My family and I just stayed at this house for a week and I feel compelled to offer a warning. The house is filthy and not at all well maintained. Some examples — the second bathroom shower is so covered in mold and mildew that my children refused to step foot inside, the carpet in the master bedroom is horribly stained such that we never walked on it without socks, the lovely looking pond in the backyard is actually a green mosquito breeding pit, glasses were put away in the kitchen still dirty, one of the towel holders in the master bathroom has been ripped off the wall and stuffed inside a drawer. I could provide many more examples, but needless to say this house was a total disappointment. Vacasa was not able to relocate us as all rentals were full the week we stayed so they refunded the majority of our money. I have stayed in rentals in McCall for many years and have never stayed in one that was this poorly cleaned and maintained.

McCall is nice- house so so
The layout of the house is very nice, but it needs a deep clean. We arrived and the first thing we noticed was the smell of cigarette smoke in the garage. Because of COVID-19 I brought gloves and Clorox wipes and went through the house wiping all touch surfaces. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness, especially the kitchen floor and hall bath/shower. There were 2 pizza boxes left above the kitchen island light fixture and because of all of this I questioned the cleanliness of the linens. I washed all of our linens and we wore slippers in the house but I definitely think a nice deep clean, updated living room furniture, and a new cutlery set would be nice to make this place perfect. Overall, we enjoyed McCall and all it has to offer.

Great location
The home is right on the golf course and we saw lots of wildlife. We had some hiccups when we first arrived but Vacasa made it right and we enjoyed our stay. I would look to stay here again.

Nice property. Great for our weekend getaway
For the price of the rental, I would give it an average overall rating. Beds and living room seating areas are very uncomfortable. Living room seating is old and needs updated. Not enough bedding/blankets for winter time.
Not enough towels and not enough hot water for our group. Really would be nice with a hot tub.

Winter wonderland
TV quit working 5 minutes after your service person came over to fix it.
Also your pictures made it look like 4 bed room. You should have to state how many separate bed rooms. But most importantly how many separate beds. There were 8 of us and only 6 beds.

Comfy beds and jet tub
Comfortable beds with plenty of bedding and pillows. Nice jet tub in master. Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen adequate for cooking; a bit randomly appointed. Small living space but ample sleeping space. Quaint area with friendly folks. Staff helpful with prompt responses.
