About this campground/ rv resort rental

Guests must register at the office unless it is after hours in which you will register at the Guard House. Unit 175 is clean and comfortable. It offers a 35' concrete dock with custom padded aluminum dock posts and swim ladder. Outdoor shower for rinsing off located on dock. Accessible ramp leads to screened patio and front door. Livingroom offers sofa bed and recliner. Bedroom offers king size bed. Kitchen offers full line appliances and four person dining table. Amenities include wi-fi, electric BBQ grill, washer/dryer, two bikes, two kayaks, beach chairs and bait freezer available for use. No Pets, No Smoking. Please note that Venture Out charges a one-time resort amenity fee upon check-in totaling $113.00. However this fee will be raised on July 1 to $125.00. The overflow parking fee for boat trailers is $5.00 for under 20 ft. and $10.00 of over 20 ft. per day. Due to the increase in overflow parking and the lack of space in Venture Out, several businesses are offering storage for boat trailers. Everything was pretty good and we'll rent again when we come back. A couple things to improve: The shower head is corroded and hard to move and the pipe is not secured in the wall. Also, the shower faucet leaks unless you really torque down on tightening them. Second, the cleaning people need to cleaning the corners and under the furniture. There is a lot of fuzz, hair and dust bunnies in the bedroom corners that look like they've been there for a long time. Thank you!

Always a pleasure staying in venture out. We've stayed at multiple properties over the years, but never the same one twice because something was always missing. This one was it, and we've already booked for next year.

Lynn was an excellent host. Very quick to respond to any questions you may have. The check in process with the resort leaves a lot to be desired. Security is not friendly nor very helpful. The neighbors we interacted with were very friendly.

Other than the mile hike to front door, jk ( wheel chair ramp) the place was great. Plenty of room for docking my boat, clean with all the amenities. I would stay here again. Outdoor space is great on balcony and canal side. Its nice to be able to flush the boat engine after a day out and spray salt off as well. Thank you for the use of your home.

The property was nice and will be back. The only concern was the ghost ants that were getting into our food. I kept the counters clean but it didn’t keep them away. Everything else was nice.

The location was perfect. We had a couple diving trips scheduled, a boat charter then 2 Beach days at Bahia Honda. Didn't have to drive more than 20 minutes to get to where we needed to be. Looks like some places at Venture Out you can have a boat...so good for boat folks. The security staff were kind and helpful. We made use of the pool in the evening to relax after all the adventures. GORGEOUS sunrises from where the community store is. My only warning is to remember this isn't some fancy home. It is a bit outdated but that being said everything worked and we slept well at night! We would stay again!

It was very clean! Peaceful, quiet for morning coffee and evening relaxation! Close to Key West but out of the hustle of the city! Our stay is out of the high season so there weren’t as people and we certainly enjoyed our stay!

Truly enjoyed our stay. Place was very clean, bed was comfy, and had great amenities, such as bikes, paddle boards, and kayaks. Neighborhood was nice, friendly and checking was super easy. Neighborhood has a community store, heated swimming pool, hot tub, tennis courts, and pickle all courts. Such a fun area and also only a half hour to keywest. My only regret is I wish we had more time to spend here!

This property was very nice with a great location right on the water of the Venture Out establishment. We actually had 5 bikes to use and paddleboards along with the kayaks which was awesome. Easy to travel between this property and surrounding keys. Communication with the host needed work. I didn't hear anything from the host when I booked the property in May and only first heard from them in August when I checked back in. When we got to Venture out in October the security guards put us in the wrong property. I messaged the owner but got no response. I had to contact the Venture out realtors for assistance who eventually got us in the right place but I never heard from the owners on this. She did get back to me immediately when I asked for an early check in so that was definitely nice. Despite any communication styles differences I would recommend this property as it was fantastic for any kind of Florida Key type of vacation

This property was exactly as advertised. It was in a great little community as well. You have access to the water at your own dock (I wish we could have brought our boat!), launch ramp, trailer parking, pool, picnic tables & chairs by ramp/swimming harbor, a little store and more. The house has a great screened in, elevated porch perfect for watching the sunrise, morning coffee, afternoon cocktails and grilling dinner! The owners supplied beach towels and nice beach chairs. We also used the bikes and kayak under the house. We really enjoyed our week here. It is a short drive to Key West or Marathon for restaurants and stores. But after a day in Key West you have this quiet place to come back to. You can’t go wrong renting this home.

We really enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed. Location was perfect between Key West and Marathon which made it an easy drive in either direction. Watch the beautiful sunrise from the screened porch! Clean and nicely decorated. We will definitely be back.
