About this house rental
Swim in Sebago Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in the US. This property has been owned and used as a private vacation home for 50+ years by the same family.
Cozy, clean, NON SMOKING, surrounded by Sebago Lake State Park. 1 of 7 cottages sharing a private beach. The private beach is an easy 1 minute walk along the road between homes in front of our cottage. Entry is gradual, water level is high in early summer. (Note: high water level in early season may result in no beach.) Water shoes are helpful, footing is a mixture of small rocks and sand. Walk 5 minutes to a large, long, sandy State Park beach with picnic facilities, snack bar, bathrooms, volleyball and playgrounds. Trails run throughout the Park and link the beaches. A trail runs right behind our cottage. Our State Park Season Pass is provided.
Horseshoe pit, screened porch and decks, charcoal barbeque and wood firepit. A great vacation spot for a family with young children, offering a bit of safety in distance from water. There's space; you won't feel bothered by neighbors.
Drive 10 minutes to Point Sebago Golf Course; 10 minutes to Naples. Park on the causeway and walk in any direction to find things to do. Portland is 30 minutes away. Children's Museum, Art Museum, Old Port - great restaurants, unique shops, tours and cruises. North Conway, NH, heart of the White Mountains, tax free outlet shopping is 2 hr.
Walking, swimming, kayaking, evenings by the fire. Bring your mountain bike to ride the Park trails.
Lots of DVDs, board games and a foosball table. Limited TV reception (NO CABLE), and limited internet connectivity (JETPAK), which, due to location in state park, can be sporadic.

The location was amazing! The walk to the lake behind the house was like a dream. That beach was either completely empty or there was a family on the other side. It felt like our own deserted island. And just a short walk down the road was one section of the state park, then a short drive was the sandbar beach. And there was a lagoon with a boat launch, where we could kayak in a peaceful setting.
Scott was always available with questions, and Jaime was the best! They were very flexible, helpful and kind.
The house itself was super clean, with everything we may have needed. There was space for everyone, including friends of my teens who came for a few nights.
An excellent choice for families with kids of any age.

Very comfortable. Serene setting. Heard loons in the evening.

We stayed with our 3 grown boys (22, 24, 24) over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate our 3rd son's UMASS graduation. Golf @ Point Sebago, kayaking, Cub Cove Beach and mornings on the deck playing games were some of our favorite activities. House was big and comfortable. Few drawbacks : long list of cleaning required despite paying cleaning fee, house could use some upgrading. What is offered (space, proximity to beach and kayaks/canoe) outweighs drawbacks. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Sebago area!

Camp included every amenity imaginable. Excellent choice of beaches close by that were well suited for young grandchildren. Hosts were very thorough explaining requirements and features of the camp. Would definitely rent again next year

Quiet Peaceful Getaway
The property was exactly as described in the listing. Kids especially enjoyed having their own bedrooms and there was plenty of room for everyone. The location inside the park was wonderful. The grandchildren also enjoyed having a campfire and making s’mores.
Scott and Jamie were excellent at communicating when needed.
Would definitely recommend this rental to others.

Cozy lake cabin
This property was exactly as described. It is a pretty rustic cabin. Located close to a few small beaches. Loved having access to kayaks. We had everything we needed for our week there. Owner and property manager were very responsive.

Sebago park house
Great house but hard to access off season. Looks like it would be fantastic in the summer.

Lovely trip to Sebago Lake in September
We very much enjoyed our September stay at Scott & Lynn’s cottage on Sebago Lake. The nearby private sandy beach was perfect for my 2-year-old daughter, and we all enjoyed relaxing, swimming, and boating. It was a great trip!

Wonderful week on Cub Point
We are 2 families with 4 kids (ages 2-8) and the house fit and slept all of us perfectly. The kids loved having their own space upstairs w/ fooseball, games and TV (parents loved it too). The location can't be beat, with 3 beaches in walking distance, lots of trails for walks & bike rides, we did it all. The fact that there were 4 boats for us to use was amazing, every morning started with a paddle. Scott was very responsive and super nice when i reached out to him. Jaime and her husband were lovely, they met us at the house and gave us a tour of the grounds, which was a really nice touch.
Thank you so much, we hope to be back next year!

Serene
Property was gorgeous, clean, and exactly as advertised. The area was so peaceful - taking in the outside was always relaxing. Communication was a breeze and the check in process was easy. Although it rained all weekend, the quality of the property and neighborhood made our Memorial Day weekend a rejuvenating break in a chaotic year.

Quiet getaway
Beautiful location inside Sebago State Park. The house was perfect for 3 generations (4 adults, 3 college kids) we enjoyed family dinners at the big table and game nights. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach today to enjoy the sun and sunset at night.
Jaime, the property manager was waiting to welcome us, show us around, and make sure we had everything we needed.
Our week was very restorative!

Much needed relaxation!
We had a great time at this house! The 4 bedrooms were set up perfectly for what we needed. We went for total relaxation, and definitely found that in this very quiet area. We took advantage of the beaches on Sebago Lake that was within walking distance, many peaceful trails in the woods that we used, and even did some biking! We would love to go back again! All of our questions were answered very promptly by Scott. Thanks so much and will be in touch in the future! Cindy & Joe

Exactly what we needed and so much more
Our stay was wonderful and much needed. This house is comfortable, clean, well-equipped and spacious. Being able to walk to and enjoy three stunning and vastly different beaches is truly incredible. Sebago Lake and the State Park are beautiful. It was a pleasure to speak and work with both Scotts, owner, and property manager, and they made our stay seamless and easy. We hope to return next year!

Cozy and comfortable house in awesome location
We really enjoyed staying at this great home in the middle of state park and having easy access to 3 beaches. The house was big with 4 bedrooms plus 2 comfortable beds in the hall on the 2nd floor. The covered porch was spacious, included a hammock, and there was even a fire pit in the yard (with firewood included). The communication from the owner was superb (the best we've ever experienced). Thank you for a great vacation!

Awesome time
An awesome spot on sebago. Really cool being so close to the state park, but you’re in you’re own private secluded area. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

One of our best family vacations
Could not get over how clear and beautiful the lake is!! What a terrific location, quiet, very nice people, in a state park with great trails and plenty to keep you busy within a few miles of the park!
The house was perfect for a family of 6 adults and one toddler. Plenty of space and great amenities included with the house.
Felt very much at home.

Perfect place
The pictures don't do this home justice. It was perfect for my family of four (a 4 and 2 year old), mother and father in law, brother in law and a cousin. So much space for privacy sleeping and room for family fun! It was clean and had plenty of extras (firewood, insect repellent, towels, kayaks, life preservers, etc) so you didn't have to rent or buy.
Scott (owner) was very responsive and ensured we had all we needed.
Only downfall was there was not much to do in the local area at night. Everything seemed to close early.

Fabulous family vacation at Cub Point
We all had a fantastic time on our vacation at your lovely cabin on Cub Point. All the beaches/lake access points were great and we especially enjoyed the State Park's main beach where we set up for the day on several occasions. As advertised your vacation home came with all we needed to have a thoroughly enjoyable time and we took advantage of just about all it had to offer; from the nearly nightly cooking of s'mores at the fire-pit, hiking the trails, kayaking, outdoor grilling and of course lots of swimming. We even got in a few games of horseshoes. The kids loved the Foosball table and watched many DVD movies in the game room as well. We really did have a wonderful week!
Both owners and caretakers are very responsive and exceptionally easy to work with. Great people!

Wonderful Cabin (almost) next to Lake Sebago
This is the perfect home and location and amenities for a family vacation.
The home and property is well maintained with kayaks available, a place for a fire and BBQ, a well appointed kitchen, and has three locations where you can swim in the lake. There are beautiful hiking paths, and it is next to a Maine State Park.
The home is not actually lakeside, but is rather set back a little bit behind 2 other lakeside homes, but that being said, there is water access and a shared beach, and it is literally a 2-3 minute walk away and you can be swimming in the water or launching a kayak.
What is really wonderful is that there are three swimming options nearby, two of which are mostly private. And you can bring your own kayaks or use the ones they have available which are in great shape.
The house is also very cozy inside at night and in the morning, and it is great for cooking, spending time together as a family, and reading a good book. Everyone in the family had a fun time, and felt right at home.
This is a wonderful booking and we would return again.

lake retreat
This house has it all.
wonderful lay out. every creature comfort. The frig was filled with many condiments.
The house had absolutely every thing a house should have. No need to run out and buy foil etc. we loved having the 3 kayaks and canoe. the beach area was safe and in a cove so the children could use the kayaks. wonderful outdoor fireplace area for nightly fires and smores. loved mornings on the front porch. enjoyed the comfort of quilts on all the beds. a very special place.

Quiet, very well-equipped home that easily accommodated my family.
This home is a perfect spot for children with a large wrap around yard and a short walk to the beach. Both the owner and property manager were very responsive.

The house was adequate for our group
Our group included adults children and an infant. As the host of my group, I was disappointed that we had to crane our necks to see the lake, the service billed as WIFI was reminiscent of dial-up and inadequate for even opening email, and the television did not work at all until a repairman came out and got us one local channel so we could get the weather report. The property is situated inside Sebago State Park and that was a special situation. We could walk or take a short drive to the pristine state beach with lifeguards. The landlord, Scott, was responsive to our needs and promised to downplay the WIFI situation in future descriptions as we pointed out that its the rare person who can drop off the grid for a week. Naples Library free WIFI saved the day for those checking in with the office.

Wonderful
We had a wonderful stay at this private home in Casco. The pictures and description does not do it justice. It exceeded our expectations. This is completely private, quiet, and directly inside the State Park.
We stayed with 4 adults, 5 children (including an infant). It was large enough to accommodate our needs, was fully stocked and we never felt on top of each other.
We took advantage of the beach directly behind the cottage which only took a 1min walk. It was beautiful and private. We also used the playground at the State Park. I HIGHLY recommend going to the State park "sandbar beach" by the playground and group area. Our kids ranged between 11 months and 5 years and there was a nice small pooling area with warm water that they really enjoyed. There was shaded area until about 12pm on the beach, and bathrooms close by. We drove to this beach even though its in the park because we had so much stuff with the kids. Its definitely walkable, probably 1/4 mile.
We also took advantage and used the trails for running. We all loved the fire pit on the property!
We highly recommend!

Amazing place
It was everything as described and then some. Stayed here with five other ladies who came to this place to relax and chill to celebrate our friendship since High School. Thank you Scott and Lynn for sharing your home with us. Also a big Thank you to Scott P for waiting for us at the gate and showing us around. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute we were there.
We will be definitely returning.

Beautiful, relaxing stay
We enjoyed our time here. Location at the end of the road was very nice and quiet. The lakeside scenery is spectacular. Plenty of private beach and public beach, mostly empty this time of the year. All of our needs were met in the cabin. The kayak was greatly enjoyed by all of us. We would definitely consider returning again.

Wonderful Property!
Stayed here with a group of 8 over a long weekend and had a wonderful time! Proximity to state park beach, boat ramp and town was very convenient. Enjoyed the fire pit and screen porch! We had bad weather one day so unfortunately didn't get to use the kayaks or horseshoe pit but had plenty of room in the house and were able to entertain ourselves with the massive collection of DVDs and board games! The unlocking/locking of the state park gate (5-7 min drive from the house) after hours was a little tricky as we had people coming and going at different times but it was manageable. Scott was very responsive and his property manager Scott was very helpful in showing us around and giving us suggestions about where to eat/boat. Overall a great stay!

Amazing spot for relaxation and enjoying the outdoors!
This was the second time my fiancé and I stayed at this house in Sebago state park. We enjoyed everything about this location from the secluded, quiet setting to the hiking, kayaking, and walks on the beach. The house is spacious and clean, perfect for a couple or more. A great area outdoors with plenty of seating, fire pit, grill and more. We will definitely come back again.
