About this villa rental

Fantastic unobstructed ocean views. All new paint, stainless steel appliances, new washing machine, new sofa and loveseat both with power recliners. Only 200 ft from the Atlantic and 300 ft from the ocean front pool club-4 br 4 ba penthouse. DOG FRIENDLY ($200 DOG FEE). 1 dog allowed if crated when left alone.
PLEASE NOTE COMMUNITY POOL CLUB ONLY OPEN MEMORIAL DAY TO LABOR DAY.
PLEASE NOTE TOWELS AND LINENS NOT PROVIDED.

The Islander Villas Community is on the west end of the island which has a much wider beach and is less crowded than the upper end. The Islander Villas community has a very nice ocean front pool club with pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, outdoor tiki bar all on the ocean front as well as 4 community tennis courts.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less crowded island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf shops, restaurants, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart rentals. The backside of the island has quiet protected water great for kayaking.

Such a convenient and well-appointed condo within a lovely resort. Close to everything, yet with a secluded feel. An unobstructed view of the Atlantic makes this an ideal getaway for anyone who loves the beach!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Lighthouse. The beds were comfortable as were the amenities. I loved the abundant light in the cottage. Best of all was the ocean view with comfy rocking chairs to take in the beauty and peacefulness of the scenery while enjoying the deck outdoors.

Really enjoyed our stay. The view of the water from the balcony was a favorite evening activity. Condo was very clean and well laid out. Kitchen was well stocked with all the items you would need and want. Beach access and pool both convenient easy walk from condo. Umbrellas and beach chairs on hand were helpful and appreciated. The only downside was that no linens and towels were provided.

Wonderful location and place to stay. The beds are a little uncomfortable and there aren't any linens so plan on bringing your own. Other than that it was amazing. Very nice and spacious. We loved it and will be back!!!!

The unit has everything needed for a great stay. A spacious lovely place. Our only two minor concerns was the floors were not swept or mopped so were very dirty and dusty when we arrived. The other comment is about the complexity of the TV -- no cable service that relied on streaming for all the programming. Even our IT- savvy kids found this to be frustrating and mostly unworkable.

We had a great experience from the start. Cliff was highly communicative. Unit is exactly as pictured including clean. Perfect middle spot between the beach access and pool club. Would definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the home and location. The access to the beach was just a few steps away. The views of the water were great. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars across the board is because you have to bring all your own linens, towels, and lots of cleanup. The manager, Cliff- was very quick and good. His response time was short and very helpful.

The rental process went very smoothly. Everything was as I expected it to be. The property manager was super responsive to any and all questions I had. Location is awesome, so close to the beach, shopping and dining out. Perfect place to get away and enjoy time with our entire family.

Very pleased with the location to the beach and the pool. Lots and lots of room for the 10 of us. One was a 2 year old. Some minor repairs where noted and sent to the property manager. Well equipped with lots of instructions on the use of AC and televisions. Even though it was a 3rd floor unit, the elevator was a life saver . Parking was not so pleasant as we had 4 vehicles and had to park one behind the other and when someone had to leave we had to move vehicles around. Will be sure to look into this unit again next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property! It truly is an awesome location with an unobstructed view of the ocean. Communication with the property manager was great from booking throughout checkout. The kitchen is fully stocked (pots, pans, mixing bowls, tons of silverware, etc.) so that was great and helpful! There are two entrances to the deck from the back of the unit, making it very convenient to enter/exit. The locked gate on the back deck is also wonderful, esp. since we had a dog and toddler with us! Unfortunately, I must include a negative. Even though you must bring your own linens, the pillows themselves were extremely dirty (sweat stains on them) as was the mattress pad. The Queen bed in one of the bedrooms left a lot to be desired in terms of comfort level. I suggest you bring your own pillows and mattress pad with you for your stay.

Cliff has been an excellent host! He has very clear instructions and quick, easy communication. The place was excellent for our weeklong family vacation! It was clean and had many great amenities. There were a few problems we encountered. One of the bedrooms’ closet had a flower pot with gravel in it and stunk of cigarette ash smell so we couldn’t use that closet for the weeklong stay (we did move that pot outside in the front porch and it stunk the whole week). The bathrooms in the right front side of the condo backed up a few times. It was frustrating. Despite those shortcomings, we had a great time and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect renting a condo. I didn’t need to be concerned. This condo was perfect! Four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, meant that friends could easily join us. The living room has plenty of comfy seating and a huge TV with Netflix for when we needed a break. The deck is much bigger than I expected and the best part: there is a true ocean view. It was as good as being waterfront! Truly an extremely short walk to the beach, we easily could come and go with small children. There is also access to the club pool but honestly, we didn’t even need it because of how easy it was to get to the beach. Also, we were thrilled to find a pet friendly place to stay because we could bring our fur babies too. We had such a great time here!

Although a beautiful view of the beach this property is overpriced. I was very disappointed to find there was no bed linens in any of the beds, no towels, no soap, no toilet paper, nothing. What good is four bathrooms if you can't use any of them until you buy all toiletries . Furthermore, very little cleaning if any has been done on the premises. It seems the property is left as is by the previous guests. To add insult to injury, I was expected to make the beds and roll out the garbage cans before we left. There's also no shops, no stores it is strictly a residential area. The community pool has no bathrooms and no changing rooms.
