Host lives in the unit upstairs. When we arrived on Sat afternoon, it was clear the unit hadn’t been cleaned from the prior guests. There was loud music like from a party playing. We had to clean all the sheets and towels ourselves because VRBO wasn’t going to refund us if we went to stay at another property.
Loud music played all through Sat night into Sunday morning. It was still playing Sun afternoon when we got back from sightseeing. I called SF police Sun because I was afraid someone upstairs was unwell. Cop asked me if I could smell a dead body. The cops did come over, but the loud music wasn’t enough for them to forcibly go in there. My husband found the circuit breaker box and shut off the electricity for the unit upstairs, and that’s how we got the music to stop. On Mon night I received a text from host’s wife that host had had a medical emergency Fri night and that’s why the music was playing and he was not responding to our calls and messages. I have requested a partial refund for the stay because we had to clean all the linens for him and the noise made it impossible to sleep, but he is dragging his feet on it because “money is tight.” I just think this is a completely irresponsible way for a VRBO host to behave.

Overall the property was good except finding dirty objects around the house. Cleaning crew has to do a better job. Found a used condom, dirty baby bottle, cigarettes butts. Vaping tool.

We loved our stay and I would highly recommend this house! Our son graduated from University of San Francisco and was a great location to the university. House was super clean and very spacious. Vlad is a great host. Hope to be back again.

It was the perfect location for a wonderful week in SF.

We were a three-generational group and enjoyed our Christmas stay in quiet Noe Valley. The house is a great size for six people, although the kitchen is very small for cooking large holiday meals (barely fits two people working). The garden is lovely and private. The beds were comfortable. The steep street the house is located on was challenging for the elderly among us. Noe Valley shops and restaurants are very close by, and the summit of Twin Peaks is only a twenty-minute climb.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful part of SF. The house was equipped with everything you could want, was very clean, lovely furnishings, lots of mod cons and a great garden which was a nice sun trap. Hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. The area is also one of the very best we have stayed in when visiting and exploring San Fran, very safe and friendly, with some great coffee shops and restaurants. Plus supermarkets within 10 mins including a big Whole Foods. We would highly recommend staying if you are looking for a big property to rent.

Our multi- generational family (aged 2-68) were totally happy sharing space in this Noe Valley home. It made all the difference to stay in a home set up for toddlers-our grandson used the high chair and toys provided, the beds were comfortable, and we used the washing machine and dryer also. Our hosts were incredibly responsive with whatever questions we had, including coming over to help open a door that our toddler grandson had inadvertently locked (with all the luggage in that room). We went to the toddler playground a few blocks away everyday. Street parking was readily available. We would love to stay here again on a future trip to San Francisco.

Truly a home away from home! So many conveniences that made it easy for us to stay with our one year old. Comfortable beds, super clean updated bathrooms, and lots of room. Vladi was an exceptional host!

We loved our stay here and would highly recommend! The apartment is clean and spacious and perfect for a family. It was well stocked with everything you need for a week-long stay (kitchen is well-equipped, plenty of bath towels, etc.). Plus, it is very kid-friendly, with a crib, high chair, stroller, etc. and plenty of toys which was a big bonus for our toddler!
Noe Valley is a lovely neighborhood - quiet, clean, and has everything you need (park, coffee shop, and some restaurants are a very close walk, and everything else just a few blocks further).
Vladi was a great host. Super responsive and helpful. We hope to stay here again!

The house was just as advertised. There were a few issues
Internet login was incorrect and I called owner and that was quickly resolved. The TV didn't turn on for 2 days and then on 3rd day worked
Not a big deal but it was very rainy while we were there and we scrapped some plans and it would have been nice to watch something. The bath stopper also did not work. I called owner and he called back after quite some time saying he had been in ER without reception. He offered to come problems solve the issues but by that time we were leaving in 24 hours so it didn't matter. The owner was always responsive to my request and I would recommend the house.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to SF! Great neighborhood and restaurants and coffee shops. Easy to grab Ubers to sites in and around the property. No need for rental car. Court yard in the back was lovely! Toiletries and incidentals were nice touch. Vladi, the owner, was great to work with!

Spacious, light-filled house, great neighborhood
Great location, perfect house for our work stay in San Francisco.
The three bedrooms and two levels give you lots of privacy and space and the backyard was absolutely gorgeous. Parking could not be easier - we parked right in front. Vladi was always quick to respond and very helpful with everything we asked. We will be back.

Our family of two couples and a two-year-old spent 2019's Christmas Week in this very nice home in San Francisco. It worked out very well and we will definitely consider renting it again for future stays in the city. The home is older and has lots of old San Francisco charm, but it is very well maintained and modernized. It is well equipped and very comfortably furnished. The main floor's two bedroom and one bath can be augmented by paying a bit more for a large lower-level suite of bedroom, sitting area and large, modern marble bath. So there is plenty of room for a family. Speaking of family, the house includes a crib, a high chair and a good supply of toys and books for kids, the kinds of things you don't often find in a rental home.We found the kitchen had everything we needed for family meals, and there is a large dining area with a table for six. This is in addition to a eat-in kitchen with a table for four. A nice backyard also adds to the charm of the property. The location is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. It is not real close to bustling parts of the city, but you can certainly walk to the shopping and dining areas of Noe Valley, The Mission and The Castro. Muni bus is a block away. Uber cars arrive in less than two minutes. So you have that access without the noise, traffic or parking hassles. The owner was very responsive and very accommodating. We had no problems renting the house or gaining access. Everything we needed was on hand, including a new washer and dryer, a generous supply of paper products and a number of extras, such as spices and kitchen supplies. One possible negative for some renters is that there is no TV or stereo on the main floor, although there is a large TV in the lower-level suite. We didn't mind that at all, but if you like to have the TV on or listen to music when you're in the kitchen or living room you should bear that in mind. The owner asks that everyone take their shoes off when in the house. Again, not a problem for us.It was a great holiday experience overall and well-recommended.

My family stayed in the house.
I took my family to the Noe Valley unit but did not stay in the unit. I observe how clean and really beautiful it is. Everything updated. My family did not spend a lot of time in the unit, mostly for sleep. The beds were very comfortable and they slept very well. So well that they did not feel the earthquake last night. They would have liked a TV to unwind but overall it is a great place and would stay there again.

Nice Noe Nights
The VRBO rental fit our needs exactly, especially since two in our party did not make the trip.
Super location with room for our large car. Was thinking it had 2.5 baths but in actuality there are only two, albeit one of the baths had a split arrangement. Had our other son and his daughter made the trip, we would likely have missed not having a half-bath!

This is a fantastic property in a fantastic location
I had never been to San Fran before so was not sure of location etc. Noe Valley was perfect for my family (grown up children and teenagers). The property was just perfect. Beds really comfortable, lovely huge washing machine and well equipped kitchen. Vlad is a great host who does everything to try and help out. I would highly, highly recommend.

Lovely HomeAway in San Francisco
The property was lovely, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The bedrooms were large, comfortable, and had lots of space for luggage, clothes, and our stuff. The kitchen was well equipped, and the living and dining areas were really comfortable. Eating in or out was easy as there is so much in the nearby neighborhoods. One note, this property is on a steep hill and so parking is on that hill! Also we found that the spaces were pretty filled on the street (both sides) by 6:00 pm so if you are out and about in your auto, you will be parking elsewhere. We were in San Francisco for the 2 hottest days of the year - unexpectedly so - and because it usually doesn't get that hot - no air-conditioning and not all windows had screens (although we found if windows were open early in the AM and late PM we got a bit of breeze) - this was just unexpected weather (won't complain as much better than rain). Owner was helpful and answered questions in advance. We had no issues - easy to get in, get situated, and be out during the day. Wonderful and comfortable place - would come back with children for holiday as well laid out for couples and/or children. Thanks so much!

San Fran Gem
It was our first time in San Fran and we really wanted a genuine San Fran experience, including our accommodation. This beautiful property in Noe Valley completely hit that mark. Full of character and elegantly furbished, including located on one of San Frans iconic hill streets. Lovely back yard, 3 large, well appointed bedrooms including a huge basement bedroom with master ensuite (actually big enough to be an apartment!). We got what we expected and so much more. Fantastic location, walking distance to trendy The Mission and Castro. The home has been so well set up with no expenses spared. It felt like it could have been our own home. Thank you for a wonderful stay, that met all our expectations. We will be back.

Great Location
We are a family of 7 with children ages 11-18. We have no complaints about this house. It was in a great neighborhood, clean, with a very nice owner. We parked our car in front and ended up walking or taking ubers the rest of the time. I would definitely recommend this place for your next vacation to San Fran

Wonderful Home!!!!
We brought our grandchildren (11 and 13) from Texas to San Francisco for their spring break and stayed at the Noe Valley house. It was FANTASTIC!!! The master suite was huge - comfortable bed, large 2 sink bathroom, sitting area. It does not have a closet, however. It didn’t matter though. Kitchen and living area were perfect! I can highly recommend!!!
