About this house rental

Located at 23 Stoney Creek Road, this beautiful vacation home spells “RELAX”. Giant live oak trees with dripping Spanish moss will greet you at the front of the house. Once inside, entire wall of windows provides expansive view of beautiful and peaceful tidal marsh at the back. It has been totally renovated but decorated to keep some of the old world charm of 1970’s as it was built in those time. The house is at short walking distance (3 blocks) to the famous Harbour Town. Addition to beautiful harbor view they offer many water activities at the pier – pirate sails for the kids, nature tours, parasailing, wave running, boat rentals, charter fishing, and dinner cruises. Harbour Town Golf Links, home of the PGA Tour's Heritage Classic, Sea Pines Racquet Club, and Habour Town pool (free access) are only 5 minute walk (2 blocks). Beautiful Sea Pines beach is just a short driving or bike riding distance.

This home with high ceilings provides three spacious bedrooms; each has its own bathroom and TV. On the main floor, there is a bedroom with a king size bed. The master bedroom, which is on the second floor, has a king size bed and its own romantic balcony with an amazing view of the marsh. The third bedroom is also on the second floor and it has two comfy queen size beds. Your family and friends will love to have 2 queen size instead of usual twin size beds. Adjacent to the spacious living room is a game room that has a checker board game table and loads of games for both adults and children.

For your convenience and enjoyment at the Sea Pines' beautiful beach, we provide beach gear - 6 chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and sand toys for small children.

We had a couples trip to Hilton Head and had a great stay. The house was perfect for 3 couples as we all had our own rooms and bathrooms and an amazing view. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The location of the house is great. Walking distance to Harbourtown and right in between 2 trolley stops so it was easy to get to the beach. The house was surface clean (vacuumed and dusted) but in need of a deep cleaning and updating.

We’ve stayed here twice now and love it! The space is perfect for our family of five. You can’t beat the location with easy access to the beach, bike paths, neighborhood pool and Harbour Town. Host was easily accessible as needed and made the check-in process easy.

Clean but somewhat dated. No grill provided. Also no door on master bathroom. There is a door that shuts the bath closet, dressing room and bathroom. This is a superb location near Harbor Townn.

We came to the island to attend a wedding with our adult children. The directions for check in were very clear and easy. The home is very clean and the location can't be beat! We had an easy walk to Harbor Town and took full advantage of this. In the evenings we sat out on the beautiful deck that overlooks Deer Island and the Marsh. Truly breathtaking. The wonder was so responsive to any questions or concerns. My only suggestion would be to have a keurig coffeemaker and also to have a keyless entry option. As a former vrbo host on the island, I can tell you, Jean's property and attentiveness are outstanding. Many thanks for sharing your home with us.

The home was comfortable. What was disappointing was the beach access. The online description indicated parking was an issue at the beaches but did not elaborate. Before ending up at the public beach miles away from the house we visited the two closest beaches and after discussion was told that although the beaches were public, the parking around the beaches were private. When we first arrived at Towne Beach we were waved in and so we proceeded to set up on the beach. After realizing we forgot the cooler a member of our party went to retrieve it and when he tried to re-enter was told that the beach was private and that he could not re-enter. When he questioned this policy considering his ease of entry minutes earlier, two security guards were called in which was totally unnecessary. We were told that we needed to go to the beach at the Beach Club. When we arrived at the gate of the Beach Club we were told that only the first 50 cars were permitted to use the private parking lot for the beach and of course we were car 51. We were then directed to the public beach several miles away. When we contacted our host we were informed that we could take the trolly to the nearby beaches which might work if you are without beach gear. Guests need to be told upfront that they are not permitted to park at the nearby beaches. The reason you rent a beach home is for easy beach access and that was not provided although implied online. I will not be returning under any circumstances.

Perfectly good house - not fancy, but nothing shabby, either. House had everything for 2 parents + 2 full grown teens, and Jean is great with comms. The location! 10min walk / 5min bike ride to harbor town, and having the marsh behind the house underrated. No neighbors behind you adding noise. 23 Stoney Creek is the best value on HHI.

Enjoyed our stay here. I’ve stayed all over Sea Pines and many years nearby in Ketch Court. This is a great location for seeing wildlife as we saw deer everyday. The house served and met our needs well. On a side note we would loved to have had a grill .

Comfortable, clean, and spacious! Perfect for our family of eight. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, comfortable setting in living room. Beautiful deck overlooking a marsh with lots of windows! Walking distance to pool , restaurants, shops. Trolley available to beach. Jean is a wonderfully attentive host. Always returns texts or calls quickly. Would rent again!!

Everything was as described. The house was spacious, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Beds were all comfortable which is always a pleasant surprise. The back deck was a very peaceful place to sit and relax with a cocktail or two. Beach access not the greatest as limited parking and no shuttle service available in the fall. Overall a good experience and would stay here again..

Our stay was perfect in every way!! The property accommodates adults and young children with large living spaces including a game room! We are so close to two beaches and we walked to the nearby pool. We were also able to walk to the Harbor Town area where there is a large park for the children, small shops and several restaurants plus an ice cream shop. Additionally, we went on the Pirate Cruise at the Harbor Town dock which was AMAZING! The children (ages 5 and 3) and adults were truly entertained for the entire experience. I cannot say enough about how much fun we had day and night! We highly recommend this home away from home for your family vacation! Jean, the owner of the property, was in constant communication although we had no issues whatsoever! Her home is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you would have in your own home. Stay here for a great vacation!

Hilton Head was beautiful and the property we rented was exactly as described. We enjoyed the scenic views from the back deck and played golf and tennis. We also rented bikes and rode all over the resort area - excellent bike paths and various points to stop and rest and excellent directions. The beach was beautiful! Will visit this resort again.

House is in a great location with Sea Pines Tennis Center, pool and Harbour Town just a short walk away. Property as described with very nice layout. Kitchen, dining & living area have a wonderful view of the marsh and Deer Island. Property manager did a great job of providing all the necessary information well in advance of trip. Very communicative during visit to ensure that everything was ok.

Enjoyed the marsh view out the back windows and from the back deck. Although the rest of the house was pretty clean, the windows and sliding glass doors were not very clean and there were a couple dirty washcloths hanging over the shower curtain rod when we arrived.. Location is excellent. Seapines is very picturesque. Lots of beautiful old trees. Nice bike trails. Enjoyable bike ride on the beach as well. Tennis courts and Harbor town within easy walking distance from the rental.

This property was perfect for our family! Plenty of room for our three children (ages 8 to 12). The owner checked in to make sure everything was good and was accessible if needed. Our kids enjoyed the selection of board games. The location was amazing - easy bike rides to the pool, Harbour Town and Lawton Stables. We will definitely look at staying here again!!!

This property was great for me and my family! Clean, great location and we had everything we needed. Jean was great! He was always accessible and gave us all the information needed to plan our activities. Although there was plenty of rain, it was so nice to be able to spend quality time with the family!

This experience was great. We'd never been to HH before, but we will definitely do it again! The property was perfect. The owner was super communicative and responsive. We arrived on the day of a major storm. We lost power, but they were well prepared. They had candles and matches, flash lights and all of it was easily accessible. The following morning, the ACs never came back on. They immediately sent the repair man, who suggested replacing the entire unit. In the meantime, they purchased 2 portable ACs to ensure our comfort. The pantry had the staples that each home should have, so whatever we forgot at the store, they had right there! We would definitely use them again.

We enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is nice and private, the property has a nice marsh view. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. My kids really love the game room, it was nice to see them playing chess and other board games instead of being on their iPad all the time. The kitchen and laundry are sufficient for our needs.

Great experience. All the comforts of home. No surprises, just as described and true to pictures. Property owner was wonderful to work with, provided all necessary information timely. The master bedroom view and decks overlook a marsh that is so peaceful and beautiful to wake up to. Area great for walking and biking, just an all around cozy, comfy and clean home. Every one in my party was pleased with the accommodations.

The checkin process was smooth and easy. The house was clean and as advertised with bedrooms that were separated from each other for additional privacy; the kitchen was well stocked and everything worked well. The deck looked out over the marsh onto the elevated houses on Deer Island. We were in the Sea Pines community and only a few short blocks to the center of Harbor Town with restaurants, shops, and ice cream counters. Looking forward to the next visit. Recommend reserving bikes early as many vendors were sold out this week. But HHI Bicycles were great and delivered right to the front porch!
