This spacious home features luxurious living areas both indoors and out along with a downstairs recreation area. Enjoy cozying up to one of the two fireplaces when there’s a chill in the air, or enjoy the outdoor hot tub, fire ring and barbeque grill on those beautiful Illinois evenings. At the end of your busy day of golfing, antiquing, shopping, hiking, boating or whatever is your pleasure, retire to one of six plush bedrooms, each with a television and a private bath. Five bedrooms are furnished with king size beds while the sixth bedroom with two queen beds. High speed wireless internet comes standard.
The fully furnished kitchen includes an over-sized breakfast bar and dining area easily seating eighteen! For the grilling chef, a large barbeque grill awaits on one of the three patio areas. Dine alfresco or in the comfort of a screened porch.

We got together with our extended family and the house was perfect for everyone to spend time together and have space. Great get away!

Very spacious and comfortable with many places in the home to get together in small groups. We were able to do a murder mystery game, which needed public spaces, that a hotel would not as easily provided for. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Close to Galena and wineries. Men found and reserved time with a local blacksmith, which they enjoyed.

This property was the PERFECT place for us four couples to each have our own bedroom /bathroom along with enjoying the many great common gathering areas to enjoy the laughs and make memories. Host provided the firewood which was so appreciated. The house was clean, beds comfy, kitchen large and well supplied with anything needed. We will be back☺️

The house was well maintained compared to other houses we have stayed in in the area and had a lot of amenities to make the stay easy and comfortable.
The kitchen was perfect for a large group to make and enjoy meals together. It was very hot during our stay, the house had a hard time keeping up with AC a few times but never got above 75 inside and they have plenty of fans. This house is very close to the owner's club which was perfect for the kids staying with us! Thank you for a great vacation!

This property is even more beautiful in person, if that’s possible! We needed a large home to accommodate 5 couples who have been friends since the 80s. We wanted a spacious home with large table, pool table and fire pit and it fit the bill. Clean, up-to-date design close to downtown Galena for shopping and eating. It was not the first staying in the Galena Territories so we knew it would be great, and it was!

Perfect set up
The property was ideal for our cousin reunion! We had 13 adults ranging from 50-90 & the bedroom arrangement & floor plan was ideal for all of us. We enjoyed the fire ring & outdoor spaces & the large kitchen & eating areas for all of us gather as a group. Thanks for a great weekend reconnecting with family.

My family enjoyed the house and it was the perfect size. The host was great and responded to our questions quickly. The only complaint was the lack of tv channels for the kids and for the final four tournament. We will book again.

Annual Guys' Golf Trip
My college buddies and I get together once every year at different locations around the Midwest to hang out and golf. This year, we chose Eagle Ridge and we couldn't have been more happy with our choice of lodging and location. The house was absolutely perfect. We had six guys and six great bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. The screened-in porch was perfect for hanging out at night, as was the basement with pool table and foosball. We also did some cooking and the kitchen pretty much had everything we needed. Lastly, the owner, Tim, was very responsive to any questions I had prior to the stay. I would highly recommend this house.

Property was perfect for us! Beds were exceptionally comfortable. This was our 2nd time staying here and hope to stay again next summer. My group of 14 enjoyed the hot tub. fire pit, pool table and roomy, well kept property. Highly recommend!

The best VRBO property we've stayed in
Accommodations of this house were endless. The property owner was very attentive and accommodating. We stayed with a group of 14 to celebrate 2 college graduates. The house is set up so there is a place for everyone without feeling crowded. The adult "kids" loved the use of downstairs bedrooms, fooseball, hot tub and pool table. There is a porch, and screened in porch that were beautiful to sit and relax to enjoy the woodsy atmosphere. They have a gas grill that we were able to use to cook our burgers and hot dogs. Kitchen was fully stocked as it would be in your own home and then some.. We had food catered and there was more than enough room in the kitchen and dining area to put out a nice spread and all eat together comfortably
We had a professional photographer come in to take family photos. The outdoor landscaping and trees throughout the yard were the perfect backdrop for our photos to be taken. Many of our guests also took advantage of the club amenities and enjoyed that very much. Thank you so much for hosting us this weekend, we created a lot of memories I don't think could capture at any other property for this occasion.

Ski trip weekend
We did a framily Orthodox Christmas getaway at this property. Went skiing at Chestnut Mountain. Nice hill in the back of the house for sledding. Hot tub was fun. We had a lovely time. The bed in the master bedroom was one if the comfiest beds I have slept on. I did not try the other beds, haha, but I am sure they were good as well. We plan on booking next year again. Thanks!

Amazing
Me and my Group had the time of our life. From check in til check out. It was a beautiful house, absolutely no problems with anything. We ended up staying an extra night and we still wanted to stay longer. The pool table was the highlight of our stay, everyone loved everything, needless to say we will be back SOON

55th Birthday Celebration Awesome
My family and I had the most amazing time for my 55th birthday celebration. The home was extremely beautiful and plenty of space. All the rooms were large and beautiful.
We were able to relax have fun and party. My only complaint is we were unable to get back in the house after dinner. The code didn't work, but it was resolved quickly and we continued our wonderful weekend.
No one wanted to leave the house. We will truly return again.

Perfect social distance get away!
We had a family trip to Las Vegas planned prior to Covid. When it became reality that we weren’t going to go, we began to search for alternatives. We came up with Galena! Short drive (1 1/2 hours) but just far enough away. The house was beautiful and perfect for our family! Each couple had separate bedrooms/bathrooms. The living space was open and perfect for our group. We loved the screened porch and sat by the fire on a gorgeous, star-filled night. We could all eat together at the big dining table and had plenty of room for cards and games. In 4 days, we only left the place to go golfing twice. Our only suggestion would be: : add an ice maker and a 2nd refrigerator. We did all our own cooking and refrigerator space was limited. (Perhaps this wouldn’t be such an issue in non-Covid times. We probably would have eaten out much more than we did this time.) The home was comfortable, clean and offered all the amenities we needed for our get away. We look forward to doing it again!

We had an amazing cousins weekend. We xcould have askeed for it to be any better.
Wr have been taking a cousins ski trip for 3 years now. Each year we have stayed somewhere different but this is probably our favorite. Loved how open and spacious it was, the pool table provided great entertainment, and best of all, there was plenty of hot water for all 14 people to shower (we have had probelms with that in the past). We love to cook big family meals, and this home had everything we needed to make that happen. We will be back!

Great weekend retreat
We have stayed here several times. Everything was great. It snowed during our stay, but snow removal was done before we had finished our breakfast. Love it.

Great property for a large group.
The house layout is great for a large group. Plenty of space for everyone to either be together or separate. It is very clean, has a nice size kitchen for cooks, and the beds were comfortable. Our only small complaint is that a DVD is advertised, and we brought DVD's to watch, but were disappointed to find there were none at the house. You should eliminate that feature from your listing. Otherwise everything was good.
