About this house rental

This beautiful home just built in May 2016. It is 4000 sq. Ft. with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. It also has a sitting room overlooking the lake with a pull out queen sofa. There are 4 porches and a large patio. The rear porches are overlooking the lake with a 3rd floor porch off the bedroom. The custom kitchen is very open to the sunroom and living room. Sit and relax in the hot tub as you enjoy the view of lake. The gentle lot is very large for activities and a stone fire pit for a good evening around the fire. The dock has a 100 ft. pier with a covered sitting area at the end to sit or to have fun fishing. A walkway leads from the pier to a large floating dock to park 3 boats all your own private area. The location was great and the house was absolutely wonderful. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the beach area. We also rented John’s boat, it was so nice having it already at the dock instead of having to go to the marina and pick one up. John was very quick to answer any questions that we had and was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back!!

This beautiful lake house was the perfect spot for our annual extended family reunion for ages 81 to 12. We only left the house to go to the grocery store that is 3 minutes away. Between the lake swimming, boating, fire pit, gorgeous dock, ping pong table and plenty of gathering spaces -- there was room for everyone to relax at their own pace. We highly recommend renting the pontoon boat from John. He's a fabulous host who is quick to respond. Perfect location on the lake too for kayaking and paddle boarding. Book this place! You can thank me later. :-).

Really fun place! The dock is great, Kayaks and ping pong available. Sandy area in the yard for kids. Large grocery store nearby. Gas grill, extra fridge and kitchenette downstairs in addition to huge kitchen upstairs. The owner was very responsive and accommodating with special circumstances. The bedrooms are very comfortable and large. Plenty of space for our group of 9 adults. We loved it!

This was the perfect spot for our family group of 11 adults. The house is absolutely gorgeous with so many amenities and the owner was so hospitable and very quick to respond to any questions I had. I would highly recommend this beautiful listing right on the lake!

Completely enjoyed the entire weekend! The house was beyond amazing and smelled wonderful! The view is absolutely beautiful. We spent most of our time on the dock and we rented the boat which was easy and a wonderful experience. John is a great host. We will definitely be back!

We had a great reunion as we only get together twice a year. Your house is spacious and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed catching up with each other, eating, drinking and watching lots of football. The house was perfect for us. The weather was a bit nippy. Everyone commented it would be great to come back when we could enjoy the lake. It was a wonderful few days. Thank you.

Beautiful home and location! We where in town for a family wedding and this location was perfect. We only gave it 4 stars due to the lack of cleanliness. I have however reached out to the manager and he was quick to respond and said he will look into to it for future renters

We enjoyed this lovely home for a vacation with our 3 daughters, their husbands, and our six grandchildren. John, the owner, was fantastic to work with. He is very available at all times, and he answered texts within minutes! The house was perfect for our family. All bedrooms were clean and beautiful, especially the master bedroom. Every amenity needed was provided; all we had to do was go to the very nearby grocery store and get our provisions for the week! We also took advantage of having the pontoon boat available to rent, and we contracted to have it on two days of stay. For our grandchildren, this was the absolute most fun they had the entire vacation. We were so happy to have provided them with the happy memories! The pier and the covered sitting area at the end of it were also a big hit. The water there is nice and shallow, so the little ones could wade and swim in the warm lake water which they loved, and the adults were able to easily oversee them from above. Unfortunately, a family emergency necessitated my husband and I leaving after just two nights, but our kids and grandkids stayed and had a wonderful time! Thank you, John, for being such a gracious and understanding and helpful host. We hope to return for a full week next time!

We had a great time at this property. It was a beautiful house with a great location. There were 10 of us and the house accommodated us perfectly. The teenagers that were with us loved having their own spot in the basement. Convenient location to grocery store and other necessities. John was an amazing host!

This house has everything you need. We stayed at this house with few other families including 8 kids. There are plenty of spaces to spread out, sleep and play. John, the owner, was always quick to respond and would answer phone calls and texts right away. We rented their pontoon boat which was so much fun. Would definitely stay again!

We had a WONDERFUL stay in John's lovely home. It was just what the doctor ordered. We had everything that we needed for a fun and relaxing time with family. It was so easy to communicate with John about anything that we had questions about. Having the boat there at the home to rent was an added bonus. We are already looking at a date to rent again next year! :) I highly recommend this home as a GREAT home to rent.

Nicely furnished large home with gorgeous view and dock. Conveniently located with Publix, Dunkin’ and urgent care within minutes. Loved the vast views of the lake and lighted boat dock. Kitchen has everything you need. This may be an an annual family vacay spot.

Our group of 4 families from all over the southeast had a blast staying here for the long weekend! The weather wasn’t ideal but we were still able to relax on the dock, enjoy a fire pit, and it’s locTion was close enough that we spent a rainy Saturday in Charlotte. Thanks John!

We had a blast. Everything in the house worked. The house accommodated 15 extremely easy. 3 levels allowed for plenty of room. Lower level with ping-pong table, separate refrigerator, TV, seating for many and exit to lawn is awesome. We hung out down there quite a bit. John, our host communicated well. Beautiful house. No traffic made the house environment safe and peaceful for our little ones. We will come back again!

We had such a perfect week. Varying ages of our family and guests but the layout of the property and house made it easy for everyone to enjoy themselves. The pontoon rental was the icing on the cake for the week. Lifelong memories were made and we hope to be back someday.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. We rented this home for ourselves and our 2 adult children and their children - a total of 12 people. The house was. large enough for all of us to stay comfortably and yet have time together. The house was furnished with all the amenities we needed. Having the boat plus kayaks, fire pit , hot tub, fishing, etc, kept everyone occupied and provided us with many fun times together.

The property is beautifully and the view is awesome! We had a small family reunion and there was plenty of space for all of us to gather there. John was wonderful to deal with…communication between us was great! We rented his pontoon boat and it was delivered to the dock! Everyone had a great time and we all will have wonderful memories for years to come! I highly recommend this house for large families and small gatherings. It’s perfect!
