Great but rules not strict, and privilege for some people

The owner was extremely kind and helpful. The air conditioning can be turned on at any time, and there is a bed curtain for maximum privacy, making this a good value for budget accommodation.

The cottage's rules clearly stated that no food or drinks were permitted inside the dormitory room., but there was an elderly man who felt privileged and thought he owned the room in a shared dormitory. He ate and drank beer inside the room without regard for others feeling. I complained to the owner once, but he is not strict and doesn't mind too much. Could you please explain the purpose of the rules in the cottage? The rules are to make everyone fair and transparent, not for an old guy's selfishness; it's best if he just gets a private room; that old guest turned off and opened the window whenever he wanted, as if he was special without asking any guest who shares the same room. It's a dormitory and not a personal privilege. Of course people don't like it,it's a shared room. I left without intention to stay longer.

A fantastic budget stay

Wan was fantastic at helping us with recommendation for activities and food. Accomodation was always clean.

Aircon took a long time to cool room.

Best stay in my whole travel so far

Best place in the World. 😍 Extended my stay a bit, because i felt very cozy there. Amazing Host, amazing staff, they fixed the water pressure for the shower, so water full on again. 👍 The owner is such a blessing of good mood and makes his guests feel very welcome. Excellent for families as well as couples or single travelers. You meet friendly people and have great conversations The place is as in pictures described, use of kitchen possible, close to the beach, scooter rental, surrounded by natural atmosphere and really quiet in a side road. Would always come back there 💖🙏💖

Good location, great vibes, the best host!

Wan is the most perfect host you'll meet. We stayed at the little cottage which has good airco and a fan. The cottage and bed is not that big but has all you need.

For the cottage no complaints. There were some roosters who didnt knew day/night. Luckily Wan catches 1 rooster :)

It couldn't be at better place to reach Pantai Cenang central and beach that you effort the price with the relevant and sincere stuff of Cottage Langkawi

Only the think that I can say is the pressure of the water for bath, a bit low.

Very poor

The pictures and our room - two different stories. The room was small and old. In the evening big insects were going on the floor and walls. There were nobody at the reception. We had to change the hotel and paid for a new room. The owner of the Cottage Langhawi refused to refund our payment. We complained to booking.com but the owner did not respond even to their message. Not recommend to anyone

Good place to stay, reccomended.

Peaceful area but only a short walk away from the beach and restaurants. Great vibe, everyone was welcoming, friendly and fun to hang out with. Enjoyed my stay, thank you.

Location was great, nice surroundings

The room I was in was a four bed dorm, that had a man living in it. He seemed perfectly nice but I wasn't comfortable with the feeling that I was staying in someone's bedroom.

Within walking distance to the beach. The young man at reception was very helpful and friendly.

It was advertised as deluxe accommodation but it was nowhere near. If you want cheap budget accommodation then this is ok.

Total recommendation for young backpackers, don’t expect luxury, but get the friendliest people instead.

The Host was a really nice friendly and helpful person, he was there immediately if any problems occurred, he even gave medicine to my sick friend. You can rent scooters and get a lot of helpful tipps for trips around the island from him.

Loved the community area where we could visit with the other guests. The location and the staff were very nice, even Yentz😁. Our room was large with a comfortable bed, private patio and garden area. Short walk to beach and restaurants.

The wifi wasn't very good in our room.

Noisy, broken bathroom and an annoyed owner

Just a 5 minute walk to the ocean

A water pipe next to the toilet broke in the bathroom in the middle of the night. the toilet was unusable and our night was over. After a long time of trying to contact the owner, he showed up. He was annoyed that we woke him up. He then didn’t communicate at all and was trying to find a spare part. As we waited in our bedroom while a water was everywhere in the bathroom and still running uncontrollably, the owner didn’t treated us as guests. He was just annoyed. (as we should have been) He also couldn’t give us another room (for the next 2-3 hours for sleeping), even they were not occupied that Moment. explanation of the owner: we are not a 5 star hotel. that was not a nice experience

- not 100 % clean but ok - pressure of shower - internet was slow
