Plenty of space for all of our family and room for the kids to play. We all enjoyed our stay.

This was the 2nd time our family stayed here & we love it! The location is perfect, the lodge & guest house gave us so much room, the yard was spacious & great for games. I hope we can get back again in the future.

This place was absolutely perfect for our family reunion. It was so close to Hill City for quick grocery runs, but tucked up in the hills so you felt far away from everything. It was so peaceful! The house/bunkhouse was perfect for spreading out a little and getting babies naps. The property was absolutely beautiful with a little creek to play in, horseshoes, volleyball, and plenty of space to run! I highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Enjoyed our family gathering. Great location and house.

Our family of 13 enjoyed our stay - lots of room to spread out and plenty of sleeping spaces. We never ran out of hot water when taking showers. We enjoyed family dinners at the two dining tables and playing board games and volleyball in the evening. The outside was so peaceful and quiet.

Our family had a great stay. There were 11 of us and this place was exactly what we hoped for. Timber Ridge Lodge is situated in a great location and accommodated all of us comfortably. Our first visit to So Dak was quite memorable and this place definitely added to the good memories.

Our very large family ..16 in all... spent a few days here after Christmas and LOVED every minute! The Lodge was beautifully decorated, so very clean and comfortable. It fit us perfectly. We enjoyed preparing our meals with ease in the lovely kitchen, playing games around the two dining room tables, sledding down the snowy hill in the backyard, and resting comfortably in our rooms. The Bunkhouse was great too!! Everything was perfect! We're already looking forward to our next stay! Thank you Keaven for everything.

Awesome property to get old friends back together and enjoy the Black Hills - Crazy Horse Marathon Relay, biking the Mickelson, hiking trails, stories and problem-solving over home-cooked meals, and plenty of space to spread out and relax - inside and out! We will continue the tradition at TRL. Awesome kitchen update that makes mealtime even more enjoyable. Thanks again!

We enjoyed our week long stay at Timber Ridge Lodge. It was the perfect setting and location to explore the Black Hills and Custer State Park. House was as stated and toally stocked with sopas, trash bags, dish and washer pods which made it easy for us. Lots of space to relax inside and out and enjoy the turkeys and deer grazing in yard in early evening. Host was responsive and very helpful. I would recommend this lodging to any family or group of friends.

This location is perfect for us.
We especially like the lawn for our grandkids play time. Our first full day, we just relaxed and stayed "home" together. Thank you for sharing it with us

Beautiful property. However, a few minor disappointments. No hot tub in master suite as advertised when we booked the property. I was given the wrong internet name/password and the TV didn't work. I contacted one of the owners and he advised me that he would reach out to the other owner b/c the tv and internet were in his name. The other owner called me the next afternoon and told me to let him know when I arrived back at the lodge. I did and never heard back from him, I sent both text message and voice message. The internet information that was sent to me just 2 days prior to arriving was incorrect, but the correct information was on a piece of paper that we found later. Also, there is a neighbor that likes to walk her 5 big dogs on the property every day, making themselves at home to crap in the yard/ walk around on the decks and even jump their wet selves into our vehicle (the door was open as we were getting things out of our vehicle). The neighbor never apologized for the dogs!!!

We had a great trip to Hill city. The property and home are amazing 5 stars. So much space. Enjoyed the fire pit, stream and fresh air. So much fun and a central location to all the great attractions. The house has been remodeled looks great.
I have to share the uncomfortable experience because of the impact. We were there a week. The beds All need to be replaced and have to give that part of the experience a 2 rating. My husband likes firm mattresses but couldn’t sleep in the master bedroom bed, slept on the single bed. In one room there were bricks under the bed which sank so the 5 year old slept there. My adult son is going to have to go to the chiropractor. We had 6 adults and 2 kids staying there a week. A good nights sleep would have made a huge difference.
A suggestion would be to build a small shed and purchase some yard games so your guests can enjoy the beautiful yard. Lots of indoor games to enjoy.

We joined two other families for an INCREDIBLE stay at this beautiful property. We had six adults, four teens and four elementary school aged children. We all felt we had enough space to spread out, relax and really enjoy ourselves. The decks around the main home are beautiful and the perfect place to have a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine to watch the sunset. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed to be able to make dinners at home together. And we REALLY appreciated all of the things provided with the home…soap at every sink, toilet paper, shampoo/body wash in the showers, MAKE UP REMOVERS—it was wonderful. There were also plenty of towels, extra blankets and large fans. The washer and dryer were so conveniently located by the bedrooms. The only suggestion we might have would be, the carpet in the main house and guest house needs to be replaced. It is pretty worn and dirty—a nice low-pile, high traffic would make this property absolutely perfect! But overall we all really loved our stay. We look forward to staying here again!

Great location. Floor plan was fantastic. Separate living and eating areas accommodated our big family. Dual outdoor porch areas provided sun in the morning and shade in the afternoons. Large grassy area was perfect for outdoor sports/games. Hosts provided shampoo, dish soap, toilet paper etc.

The lodge accommodated our group of 19 perfectly. There was plenty of sleeping space and we always had hot water for all the showers taken. We loved ending our day of sight-seeing by playing volleyball, playing board games, and by sitting by the campfire eating smores. I would definitely stay here again!

The Lodge was perfect for our family of 12, plenty of sleeping area as well as room to separate for a little downtime. We rented a Pontoon boat for one day and a UTV for 2 days, everyone had a blast (well worth the money). The only complaint is that the mattresses had seen better days.Would definitely stay again!

The size and location were what we needed and have been looking for in the black hills. The only downside was not having rackets for the volleyball court.

Our group of 17 (9 adults and 8 kids) had a great stay at Timber Ridge Lodge! Beautiful cabin and perfect location. We enjoyed watching the deer each morning and evening. We had plenty of room to gather for family meals. We enjoyed taking walks down the quiet gravel road. And we were just a short drive from all the local attractions.

Excellent property for enjoying the beauty of the Black Hills with access to biking and hiking on the Mickelson Trail, tourist-friendly Hill City, and the Crazy Horse Marathon. The main house and bunk house provide a perfect setting: beautiful view of the Hills, entertaining wildlife, horse shoes, well-furnished kitchen and grill, ample space for group activities, and privacy when needed. We will be back to enjoy again!

Hit a wonderful time when the leaves were turning (a good background for family photographs without leaving the property ). Centrally located so driving to Black Hills attractions is convenient and close enough to Hill City to get "necessities". Secluded enough to not have to constantly hover over younger ones and also were not affected by the busyness of the Buffalo Roundup or Hill City Oktoberfest going on at the same time. It is a nice place to stay.

Loved every minute! Our only regret is we didn't stay longer!

We stayed here as two families with 8 children 3-16 and 4 adults.
This home is cozy and spacious and it was absolutely perfect for our group. From the moment we arrived the property is beautiful. The outdoor areas are absolutely wonderful!! We loved playing frisbee and tossing the football. The kids had much fun playing in the volleyball area.
The home has plenty of space! With a lot of bathrooms!! Getting ready for outings were a breeze with our big group. The fireplaces were so cozy on the cool evenings. The beds are comfortable and the place was sparkling clean!

Plenty of room for all. Two sitting areas, two dining areas, plenty of beds and bathrooms, big outdoor area, and even trout in the pond up the trail.

Beautiful place, great location! There were 14 adults in our group,, and we had plenty of room and beds to spare. I have never rented a VRBO house that was so beautiful the pictures online didn’t even do it justice. We had a great time at the cabin and in the surrounding areas during the Sturgis bike rally. If this is a contender for your stay, you won’t be disappointed! 10/10 WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN!!

Nice place for large family get together convenient to many attractions in the Black Hills area. Large lawn area for kids to play and nice deck to sit outside. Plenty of space for 15 people

We've stayed at a handful of cabins in the black hills and love this one the best. Our group of 18-20 (depending on the year) fits perfectly. The kids play all day outside in the grass and with the yard games. We enjoyed the evening fires. Having two dining tables is super helpful! Our only suggestion would be providing more kitchen garbage bags as we went through the ones provided within the first two days.

The Timber Ridge Lodge provided an outstanding reunion for our group of 10. This spacious lodge nestled in the beautiful area of Hill City was the perfect setting for our family. Located near all the sights to see at Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Mikkelson biking trails, KOA Chuck Wagon and Jeep touring. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place to call "home" these few days, we found all the amenities that were needed and thoroughly enjoyed lounging on the porch to watch the deer in the meadow. The only complaint we had was that the time went way too fast!
