5 co-workers and I stayed here for a weekend of Mountain Biking at Northstar. It was very conveniently located and easy to check in and out. Overall the house was a great fit and very comfortable, although fairly basic. One thing to note is that you have to manually turn on the hot water heater - we didn’t realize this and were surprised by the cold showers in the morning :(

Comfy and beautiful…hope to stay again someday

The house is spacious and nicely appointed. We had 7 adults and there was plenty of space for all. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and some basic spices, which is always nice. The neighborhood is quiet and close to town.
We had a couple hiccups and I was unable to contact property manager. In particular, the fire places were turned off for the season at beginning of May. We would have liked to use them since it was 30 deg and snowing outside. Also, molded over coffee was left in the coffee maker. House cleaner should have checked this.

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in Lake Tahoe. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with how well-located and clean the cabin was. The decor was lovely, with thoughtful touches throughout that made us feel right at home.
One of our favorite things about the cabin was how well-stocked it was. We were able to cook meals and have family dinners without any trouble at all.
Judy, the owner of the cabin, was a joy to communicate with. She was very responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Her kindness and hospitality were greatly appreciated.
Overall, we can't say enough good things about this cabin. It exceeded our expectations in every way and made our trip to Lake Tahoe truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy and well-appointed home away from home.

Absolutely lovely spacious home with excellent tast in artwork. We especially enjoyed the Van Gogh replica painting. Large functional kitchen with significant storage space. We thankfully brought our own crockpot and Pyrex glass cooking containers to make casseroles for our large group. The house has the best industrial (hotel) waffle/omelet maker. The great room was amazing with a fantastic couch with recliner segments. Perfect for watching Warren Miller ski films! Liked the detailed info in binder. We had a two-hour power outage. We learned that Truckee Donner Public Utility District is electricity provider. We posted info to the website on the bulletin board by kitchen. Being able to park 2 large SUVs in garage was such a luxury. With all the snow we were very happy to park inside and not deal with snow removal on vehicles. Plowing in neighborhood and driveway was excellent. Would definitely stay here again

Staying here won’t disappoint!! Highly recommend ((:
As our first family trip this was the perfect place to stay! It is close to a lot of ski resorts! Super clean and spacious which we all enjoyed!! Didn’t have any problems besides the a/c we couldn’t figure it out lmao but everything was perfect the house is provided with few essentials! But will definitely book again here !!!

Beautiful place
Overall the stay was good. The house is beautiful and space was perfect for our group of 10. There are pretty good supplies for cooking but there was only one fry pan (stainless steel) that looked safe to use.. The only other complaint is the TV situation. There is no cable available in the area so it’s streaming only and through Verizon. Although they have a Roku system your are not allowed to load your own apps to watch regular TV. This was very disappointing. Had I known I would have brought my own roku device to use. We were there during the historic snow so for a couple of days there wasn’t much of anything else to do!

Ideal Location, Amazing Home
Two days prior to the mandatory evacuation order in South Lake Tahoe (Caldor fire), we booked this home to escape the smoke for a few days. Once the order was issued, Judy was extremely accommodating, ensuring we could stay longer and wait it out.
We were extremely fortunate to have landed here. There was more than enough room for the six of us (ages 10 to 75) to cook and eat together and enjoy each other's company without being in each other's way (being less than mile from the new Raley's was a huge plus for last-minute shopping). My parents enjoyed watching the birds in the meadow outside and took advantage of the local park and walking paths nearby. We all made the most of our time here, exploring Truckee's bike trails, shops and many good restaurants, including several within walking distance.
The townhouse also provided plenty of space for three of us to work from home. The internet could be a bit spotty at times, but Judy provided helpful tips that helped remedy the situation. She was incredibly responsive, even going out of her way to help us find housing for other evacuees.
Judy's home provided more than a respite from the fire; it gave us an opportunity to recharge after weeks of stress and worry. We will forever be grateful for the experience and hope someday to return again to enjoy this incredible house and the kindness of the Truckee community.

Great Tahoe Family Getaway
Wonderful and spacious home located in a great location. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants and a quick drive to the lake. Only warning is that the wifi is quite poor which shouldn't matter on vaca unless you have folks Zooming.

Vacation
Beautiful place to stay. Very close to Town of Truckee near the restaurants. Grocery store is around the corner. We were very comfortable and roomy at the house. We didn’t want to leave. Judy is a sweetheart! We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place! Great location!
We loved this vacation rental! It was very clean, and incredibly spacious. It’s probably the best VRBO we’ve rented. Our host Judy was extremely responsive to our questions. If we need a rental in the Truckee area again, we will be renting this place.

Clean and roomy
Excellent place to stay. Very clean and roomy for all of us. Kitchen is well equipped (no blender). The bedrooms are large, beds are comfy too.
The best part was below the balcony there was a meadow where the kids ran and played and we could sit on the balcony and watch them. Also a tire swing and table on the meadow where the kids hung out. Very close to the grocery store and the town of Truckee.
The property owner Judy was a sweetheart very accommodating.

Tahoe ski and Super Bowl weekend
Wonderful long weekend with friends and family! The house was quite roomie and allowed for a comfortable stay for five adults and five kids. Beds were comfy and rooms were spacious.
Location of the house was super close to North Star five minutes away and downtown Truckee. Could have asked for anything but some more snow! Judy was great and responded promptly to any questions. We had a fabulous time and would highly reccomend this property.

We lived being close to Northstar without having to pay the price for staying in the village. The house was huge and had everything we could want.

2nd time around
This is our second time to this property. It was perfect for two families. It is very centrally located. It is close to Northstar, Donner Lake, Squaw and Alpine. (all within 15 minutes). And very close to downtown Truckee (about a 2-3 mile walk along the river). It's also less than a mile to the ice skating rink (basketball courts in spring, summer and fall, ice rink in winter). If you like quiet, this is a good place to stay. It's a very quiet condo. You don't even know there are other people in the area. Its walking distance to a great sushi restaurant, a brewery (50/50 - I think its called) and the Truckee Wine Tasting place. The house is large, warm and clean. Only complaints are that its a little hard to figure out how to work the TV and the living room fireplace - but not impossible. Also, the knives are very very dull in the kitchen. So, if you come, bring your own. I would also suggest a few games or books as families do use the condo and having some of these things on hand for guests, would be a nice added touch.

Great town home: spacious and cozy
The property was fantastic. It's a comfortable, clean, and quiet town home. Judy, the owner, was extremely helpful with our same-day booking and was responsive to our inquiries. I highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay with multiple families!
We had a multi-family stay at this great Truckee rental. Had plenty of room inside, big open spaces for us to all be together. Well equipped kitchen, had everything we needed. The kids loved playing in the open space in the back. We've already talked about coming back here again!

Beautiful and cozy!
Our stay was short but we were extremely pleased with the space and how extremely clean and comfortable we felt. The house was located close to downtown Truckee which made it convenient to restaurants. Would definitely consider to rent the house again for a longer period of time.

Spacious, beautiful and comfortable!
This home worked out well for us. The two master suites were very nice. The kitchen/living room area was great for accommodating a large group. Cute decor, and super comfy couches. Location was great! We did have some trouble with the lock upon arriving, but after we got in, all was perfect :)

Beautiful, spacious, and well located!
The cabin was perfect for our families to stay in together. Two master bedrooms, another bedroom with a queen bed, and another room with bunk beds--plenty of space for our family!
It is very close to Truckee and on the way to Lake Tahoe, so ideally located! Furnishings are nice, and there was a ton of room with the large kitchen area and large front/main room with big screen TV.
Unfortunately the AC didn't work in the downstairs while we were there--combined with smoke from the forest fires and the need to keep windows open in the late evenings, it was a bit smoky inside (hence the 4/5 star rating)
Aside from that, our stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend renting this home.
FYI you'll want to bring toiletries (soap, etc.) as well as any cooking utensils you just must have to cook with--there are a few really basic items, but not a whole lot. Not a deal breaker in our opinion, but good to know!

Beautiful condo - great location
The condo is about 2 miles away from downtown Truckee making for a wonderful and quiet location. The condo was the perfect size for 2 families. Its exceptionally clean and well kept. Everything is fairly new. Its spacious yet cozy. Easy access to road to head towards North Star or Alpine/Squaw yet removed from main road making it very quiet.
Judy was very responsive and accommodating.
Its a lovely walk to the Truckee ice rink, and to downtown Truckee. The Drunken Monkey Sushi Bar is just down the street.
The only complaint would be that the kitchen is lacking in several items. It is not fully stocked as stated. There are not enough glasses and mugs for large families. There were about 5 mugs and 5 drinking glasses in total. Also, the lids and pots do not match up and some basic kitchen items are missing (like colander/sieve), baking pans etc. The knives are horrible. I will add here that both families here do cook quite a bit so we notice these things more than a lot of others might.
Also - while there are blankets some are old and tired with holes and not useable anymore.
Other than these two items - everything else was perfect. We would definitely return.

Spacious, clean, and close to Northstar
Stayed here with 2 other couples this past weekend (6 adults total). We loved Judy's property! Seamless check-in instructions, spacious yet cozy house (multiple fireplaces?! yes please!) and everything you could possibly need. We loved having our own bathrooms for each bedroom, and being able to have easy convenience for parking our car. Judy made sure no detail was missed. Will definitely try to stay here for future Tahoe trips! :)

Conveniently located, well maintained, and great layout
My family and I come up to Tahoe for the holidays each year. We've had many rental experiences and this was one of the best we've had. We had a large group (7 adults and 1 child) and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. Two masters, big comfy living space and a useful kitchen and dining space. Appliances, wi-fi, and other amenities were easy to use and the instructions were very clear.
The condo is located very close to Northstar and downtown Truckee. Being tucked away off of Brockway avenue let's you miss some of the annoying resort traffic. Also we had to make a run to Reno airport for a midtrip drop off and that is much quicker then staying on the lake.
The only thing I can think of to improve the experience is perhaps a set of rabbit ears/antenna for the TV. Most rentals these days are cord cutters and I don't blame them. Cable companies monthly fees are extortion. Getting some network television for the big sporting events will be a nice supplement to the Roku package. I think this is a relatively low one-time cost.

Wonderful Time!
We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house had plenty of space and we enjoyed many of our meals together. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed. The kids loved it so much that they asked if they could stay and play in the house rather than go skiing! We hope to stay again for future visits. Thanks Judy!

Beautiful property at a convenient location
We loved staying at this property over Thanksgiving weekend. The house seems almost brand new with high end touches and amenities, probably one of the best properties that we have stayed in Tahoe/Truckee. Quick access to freeways and ski resorts, yet located in a very quiet neighborhood. This is a town-house, but feels like a single family home with big windows and nice views.
