About this house rental

This wonderfully located Property is on the Water. Walkway and sand at front step. A patio for sun and dining. Ideal for family.
Ocean swimming with lifeguard stand in front. Fishing pier, stores, restaurants, bay, and boat and bike rentals within a couple of blocks.

This is a duplex.The 4 bedroom lower unit is available year round. We also rent a 3 bedroom upper unit. (rented separately or together 1678351 Dreamy Ocean Views)

Nicely furnished, fully equipped. Parking for one car.
We can accommodate 8 people. Fully prepared kitchen and some beach towels, chairs and sand toys on property.
Upper unit may be occupied by guests - you can learn more about the upper unite (full house rental at VRBO 16783 51Dreamy Ocean Views. Guests may feel presence of upstairs renters with exterior entry door and walkway usage. Patio space is for downstairs guests only. The best feature is the beach front patio!!
Patio with barbecue grill and comfortable chairs overlooking the beach.
2 bedrooms with queen beds, 2 with a pair of twin beds each.

One parking space behind the house is available for renters. Otherwise street parking is free and city pay lots are 4 blocks away near the Ferry to Balboa Island, Fun Zone and Balboa Pier. Short walk to easy access dining, fishing boats and Catalina Cruiser. Or, rent a bike and pedal to Lido Island or Huntington Beach along the boardwalk.
No partiers, no smoking and sorry no pets. We have long standing neighbors and upstairs guests - therefore we ask for things to be heading to a quiet hour at 9pm!

We LOVE returning to this spot in Newport Beach each year! All of our family truly looks forward to it. It is in the best location within close walking distance to the beach (it is on the beach and boardwalk), close to the pier, the Fun Zone, the Ferry! This 'home away from home' is immaculate! It is modernized with furnishings, appliances, the bedding is heavenly. In front of the apartment is a wonderful patio with two tables and two umbrellas where we all hang out during the daytime! There is a BBQ, kayak, beach toys for kids, and beach chairs. We have always found the owner, Ann, to be very receptive to our questions or needs. For example, we found the blender had been cracked and unusable. We contacted Ann and the next day, a new one was delivered to our door at the beach. We always get one parking spot behind the house but free parking on the street nearby is easy enough. (Note: There in no parking on Monday during certain hours, and on the other side of the street on Wednesday when the street sweeper comes back the alternate day.) Also, one day when we are down there, we invite our entire extended family to come down and have a bonfire on the beach.It is so easy to secure a fire ring during the week. We look forward to going back next year!!

I’ve stayed here before in 2019 for my 30th birthday. When I saw this was available I canceled my hotel and booked this! It’s the perfect location! So cute & updated. Also right on the beach! Can you beat that? I will always rent this house! It’s my fav in Newport!

I had an incredible stay at this beachfront property hosted by Ann. Her responsiveness to our needs ensured a comfortable experience. The beds were cozy, and the spacious layout provided ample room for our family of 6. The beachfront location was unbeatable, and the place was impeccably clean with all the essentials. The highlight (other than Ann) was the perfect patio furniture, offering a relaxing spot to enjoy the beach and people-watch. Ann's attention to detail and the property's fantastic features made our stay memorable. Highly recommended for a perfect getaway, especially if you're heading to Disneyland!

What a great stay! The house fit our two families just perfect! Being on the bike path and watching the sun rise and set was great! We paddle boarded in the harbor, watched dolphins from the pier, and enjoyed a day at Catalina Island. The house was clean and bright. Great to BBQ in the evening with a cocktail and soak it all in. Hope to stay again soon! Ann was great and answered all of our questions right away. Thanks again!

Love our stay at this beautiful, clean place on the boardwalk. The place is beautifully appointed. It is near the pier, fun zone, on the beach, swings and playground equipment, near the ferry. It is right in the heart of every thing. There are volleyball nets and fire rings that are in nearby eyesight. Communication with the owner is very easy and she is always ready to accomodate. There is a (small) walled-in patio with seating and umbrella coverings so you can sit outside and relax. There is a BBQ too. It was great that she had additional outdoor folding beach chairs (on the side of the house), that we could take down to the water's edge. (Next year we won't have to bring our own beach chairs that take up so much room in our car!) There were even sand toys, pails and toy shovels for the little ones on the side of the house.We were allowed one parking space, but our guests could find plenty of free parking on the street DURING the week. There is a washer and dryer (bring your own soap).

Our family had the best time. Such and easy move in. Rental is all ground level. Four bedrooms! Open living, dining, island and kitchen area is very roomy, and faces the beach. We so enjoyed our time relaxing and visiting on the front patio. Couldn’t find a can opener, but a quick walk to the corner pharmacy solved that. Gladly gifted the can opener to future guests. Enjoy! This property provides for a superior family retreat. We loved our stay from start to finish.

This home exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ann’s property and cannot wait to go back. the best part by far is the location. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and had plenty of towels for our big group. It was perfect for our children who range in age from 1 - 5 years old.

The house was exactly as pictured in the listing. Bright and cheery. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped for cooking and entertaining. Beds were very comfy, sheets soft, pillows very good as well. Communication with Ann was A+. We would highly recommend this vacation home.

We absolutely loved staying at Ann (and families) home. It was perfect for my family (2 adults, 2 kids - 5yo and 2yo), my parents, and my brother's family (2 adults, 1 kid - newborn). The location and view were amazing - waking up to the beautiful sunrise and watching the sunset from the house was breathtaking. We also really enjoyed riding bikes and walking the boardwalk mutliple times per day. The kiddos even enjoyed the beach for a few days (it was the off season) and we still had a few beautiful days so we were lucky! We had rented the lower unit which you could hear a few footsteps from the upper unit, but it wasn't a big deal and to be expected. I thought the beds were very comfortable and we slept great with the exception of the time change so we were always up early and went to bed early :) They also had a pack n play which I really appreciated it. Lastly I had contacted Ann once to let her know about an issue that we noticed and she was very responsive and had scheduled someone to come address the issue when we left. As we were checking out we saw Ann and talked with her about it and she was very nice. Overall we would stay here again! Great for families :)

My family and I had such a wonderful time staying at Ann’s place. The sunsets from the patio were dreamy and everything was very clean. Ann was very responsive and answered all questions I had within five minutes. Plenty of beach toys, towels and she’s only 25 minutes from Disneyland which we traveled to two of the days we were there. Thanks for an awesome stay, Ann!

It is close to our home, so family can join us easily. It is on Newport Beach's boardwalk. It is close to the pier, the playground, a volleyball court on the sand, fire rings on the beach, Balboa's fun zone, the ferry. (None of that causes any problems with it being too loud.) All are within 2- 10 minutes walking distance. On the other side of the boardwalk is a sandy little area that is perfect for our little ones to play in while we observe them from the house or patio. The home is beautifully appointed with every thing one needs. Nice bedding and everything looks fresh and clean. We used the BBQ on the patio and later that night, had a bonfire in the fire ring on the beach. Family and friends came down and later went home. It was great being able to just go in and go to bed instead of driving home. We absolutely love this place!

We had a family group of 8 and really enjoyed this property. I dont think we drove anywhere the whole time since everything was walking distance. The sand across from the house was perfect for our small ones to play, and the beach was a quick walk away that our toddlers and great grandmother could do with ease. Very accessible. Very beautiful!

We had a really nice stay. Only downside is we wished it was longer!! The location is perfect. The home is clean and cozy with plenty of sleeping space. We stayed in the downstairs unit and fully enjoyed use of the patio. Would definitely stay here again! Ann, the host, is very responsive and friendly.

This house was very clean and had everything we needed in it. The beds are comfortable and the house has a comfortable beachy feel to it. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the front patio. It's walking distance to the Balboa Pier, Fun zone, and many restaurants. The owner is very friendly. She answered my messages in a timely manner and was very helpful. This house is great for large families or two families traveling together.
