Peaceful Mountain Lodge is a beautiful, fully renovated, inside and out, 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom home that sleeps up to 11 guests. Located on a quiet street in the idyllic Christie Heights neighborhood on Peak 8 in Breckenridge, this home is a perfect combination of sophistication and kid-friendly mountain charm. It's located a short stroll to the free ski shuttle on Ski Hill Road, a 10 minute walk through the woods to the Shock Hill Gondola stop and a 15 minute walk into the heart of Breckenridge. You can walk across the street to access the miles of Nordic center cross country ski and snowshoe trails.
There is tons of hiking and mountain biking from right outside the front door. Peak 8 is home to world class skiing in winter and to the Breck Summer Fun Park and Gold Runner Roller Coaster and much more in summer. It's location is perfect for outdoor winter and summer fun.

The home has been lovingly renovated with new hardwood floors, new carpet and designer furnishings. It features two separate living areas with gas fireplace and wood burning fireplace options. The flow of the home lends itself to peaceful reading nooks and large common areas for group fun. There are three eating areas--the dining room, eat-in kitchen and kitchen bar area. The kitchen is well stocked with high end cooking gear and serving pieces. The upstairs 4 bedrooms allow for privacy and features 3 full baths. The lovely outdoor deck and backyard features a brand-new hot tub, a firepit, a gas grill and plentiful outdoor dining space in a wooded setting. The 3 car garage allows for 2 cars to be parked inside; the third bay is a large sitting area for putting on and taking off ski boots and for ski and boot storage. There is also a boot warmer for toasty feet! The large driveway easily allows for 4 additional cars.

Beautiful setting. Everywhere lively. Especiall like all the places for small groups to gather and chat: both indoors and out!
Also appreciated the extra pullout bed by the laundry room. That helped organize family members and age groups.
Perfect location for Fun park. People could walk back when they wanted.

We were a group of four teachers that were attending a conference in Keystone. We wanted to be close to town in Breckenridge. This was a great location and it was super easy to get to town and back for dinners. We loved the hot tub after a full day of learning. Overall, a great stay!

It was a beautiful area and very close to all the things we wanted to do. The property is pretty run down and it was not clean, but very well stocked for anything you wanted to cook. The beds were super comfortable, but the living spaces were not. I would stay again but they need to know that their cleaning staff is not cleaning.

This house has everything. It was very nice inside and the location is stunning. It was the perfect home if you have young children (the house was well equipped with toys, books, and kid-friendly plates/bowls/cups/etc.). It truly was a perfect house and we would love to book again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay here! The house is very welcoming and accommodated all 7 of us perfectly. Easy drop-off distance from the base of peak 8, and close to parking for the gondola. Communication with the owners was excellent with very thorough directions and insights. We would happily stay again!

This property is great for a larger group with four bedrooms on the upper floor, including three bathrooms. One-half bath on the lower level. Two fireplaces-one gas and one wood-burning. Importantly, a very well-stocked kitchen and great eating areas. The garage stores two cars and is heated. A great place to put on your boots. Francie and Rob were great to deal with and were very responsive to any issues. Close to the free bus line. All in all, a great place to stay and super hosts.

Guys snowboard trip to Breckenridge was amazing! The house was located within a 4-5 minute walk to the gold shuttle bus for easy access to peak 7 & 8 as well as to the downtown area. We ate at Downstairs at Eric’s, Breckenridge Brewery, Rita’s taco bar and Giampietros Italian. The house was perfect for our group of 6 guys. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity were to come up again in the future. Many thanks to the Hammer family for the accommodations.

I booked this property for a vacation celebrating my parents’ 60th birthdays. It was adults only, and we enjoyed everything about this property. Contact between myself and the owners was easy and efficient and all the check-in/check-out instructions were very simple. Perhaps my favorite thing had to do with check-out, because there wasn’t much to be done beyond what you would already do when checking out of anywhere. Some owners require so many things to be done upon checkout that it’s a wonder what the cleaning fee actually goes to, but not here. Would definitely stay again!

The hot tub was the cherry on top after a long day on the slopes. The house is a two minute drive to the base of peak 8. We only rode the bus once and it was very simple to get to peak 8 as well. Whether your being dropped off at the base or have to ride the bus, either option is super easy!! We would definitely recommend this house and will more than likely stay again! We have been skiing the west for the last 16+ years. As the families grow in size it is always difficult to find a place that works for everyone. The house has great flow and provides separation of the bedrooms from the living space that someone could be up and not bother the others sleeping. The house is well stocked for anything that you may need. The heated garage made for a great place to get into and out of ski gear without having gear in the house. We arrived early and the host was accommodating and allowed us to enter the house until the cleaners were completed from the prior guests. Will definitely return next time we are in Breck.

Great house with plenty of space for everyone. It is a very short walk to the free city bus stop which takes you directly to the ski base. Plenty of parking in the garage or driveway for multiple cars. Nicely equipped kitchen made cooking for the family a breeze.

The house is very well located - on the hill between the peak 8 main ski and resort base and the town below - with large market, pharmacy, shops and restaurants just a few minutes away. Established and secure neighborhood with similar large homes on large wooded lots.
The house itself is very nice - clean, well maintained, and good layout. Furniture is newer and kitchen well stocked.
Owners were available and responsive. And rental process hassle free and thought out. Although, I did not really have any issues.
The only disclosures (not complaints) I would make are as follows:
1. No a/c -only heat. Very typical for the area I have since learned. So, not a complaint - just an fyi if you arent used to that. Even though we are from Florida - where A/C is the norm- we quickly adapted. We have been to Colorado many times, just never in the summer. So, initially surprised.
2. No real mtn view - just woods. Not a surprise or anything. Just an fyi in case that is important to a guest.
Overall, very pleased.

We had a great visit! The house location offers super convenient access to peak 8 activities as well as in town shops and restaurants. There is even access to the shock hill gondola stop on Breck connect through a wooded hiking trail. Walk to the Nordic center bus stop for free rides up and down Summit Hill. The house was perfect for our 2 families. With all of the bedrooms upstairs and living space downstairs, it was easy to put the kids in bed (in one of the 2 bunk rooms) while the adults hung out downstairs. Having 2 king size beds was great too as neither family had lesser accommodations. We will be back!
